The biggest issue here is most of the food is made to order rather than having a steady supply of food ready. More often than not they are queued right out the door, again this is due to the person taking the orders disappearing after every order to do some seemingly imaginary task out the back, before returning to take the next order. They offer telephone orders so this also contributes to the extraordinary waiting time. Wanna beat the queue, ring your order through. The food here is just ok. I ordered the goujon special and when I got it home the chicken goujon a where actually closer to nuggets. Given the fact they were so small, I ate my right hand that night. Also the gravy is watery. KFC like to give us the impression that they humanely stun the chickens first before they are killed but the fact is these chickens have to be alive & aware. There throats are then cut, without stunning them first, so the blood can be drained from them. This is a barbaric Muslim tradition in which the animal suffers & is in pain & therefore is left alive for minutes and in agony while the blood drains from its carcass! The price was good and the wings did live up to the hype but I wouldn't say they were earth shattering. There was just the right amount of glaze but the wings themselves lacked meat. Yesterday's visit to The Hudson reaffirmed how good the bar is in my eyes - it's such a jack of all trades - serves a whole host of different beers - I had the Sam Adams, something that you don't see too often in Belfast.
