Visiting the area. Ordered a two piece white, extra crispy. Wanted green beans. Was told they don't have green beans. ‍ And only one side with the meal unless I wanted to pay extra for another side. Really? Is this the case at all KFC? (I guess it's been awhile since I visited a KFC.) Then, no breast in extra crispy so I had to substitute original. Don't bother. Pulled up at drive thru at about 6:30 pm. Sit there for a minute or two and guy comes on and says it will be a few minutes. 5 minutes more and nobody came back. All this time. you can see the back door and there are 3 employees sitting outside the back door. I leave and go to the truck stop. When I get there I look back and vehicle that was behind me is now at the speaker. Food - Typical KFC food. It is not much different than any other KFC. The buffet runs out of certain item and it takes quite a while for them to restock that item. The buffet table can get pretty sloppy before the staff clean it up, which is unappetizing. Atmosphere - For the most part, the place is clean and inviting. Service - I have had both good and bad service here. Some staff are friendly and ready to help, others have a bad attitude. Best thing to do is get the food to go. I will return. read more

I hate to complain because I understand that they are very short staffed and that makes things very hard but I went through the drive through tonight and got something simple. The number 5 which is 3 or 4 chicken tenders with a biscuit and side + a drink. I got to the window and waited about 10-15 minutes for the food when there was no one else there. So I was hoping maybe they were making something fresh. Anyways, when I opened the box there were 2 old chicken tenders that were very hard and a hand full of chicken nuggets which were also hard and old. The biscuit was the same. The only thing hot was the mashed potatoes. I ate what I could because I didn't have the money or the time to get something else or go back. I understand being short staffed and trying to keep up on things but the food was just sad and pure nasty. read more

I tried to eat dinner here. I'm long haul truck driver and this place is right next door to the truck stop. I wntered the building through the doors next to the open sign. I stood at the counter waiting to order, and I was told the lobby was closed. I had to use the drive through. For the record it's 45 degrees outside the wind is blowing 25 mph. It's also raining. I'm not walking through the drive through for a lousy chicken dinner. I won't be back. The Colonel would not be happy. read more

If you're staying nearby, or not, this is a great place to eat! I got a 4-piece combo, with mashed potatoes/gravy, and added a large green beans. It was delicious! Chicken was hot and juicy, if it wasn't just cooked it sure tasted like it. Green beans were perfect as well, just as the Colonel says they are. Staff was very polite and accommodating. What food was available at the time we went through the buffet was hot, but there was no chicken at all for over 15 minutes... And we had to ask when they were going to add more. Then they put more in the fryer. There were no biscuits or mac and cheese the entire time and the salad bar was skimpy. Not worth the ten dollars for the buffet. read more

I'd give this place 0 stars, but I can't. I haven't been here in years. When I was about 9 years old, that's when KFC went bad. The previous owners retired and I don't know who owns it now, but it's just a dirty place to eat at. The floors are sticky, the tables are dirty - it makes you question how clean the kitchen is. Before the previous owners retired, KFC was "the spot" to eat on Sundays. I remember going there quite often with my grandparents. Now we don't even consider it an option. Go to another KFC in a different town if you want good fried chicken - this KFC is just disgusting. read more

My favorite thing from kfc is the coleslaw. I like the chicken but I don't eat there often. I have never been impressed with their chicken sandwich but haven't eaten one in years. Yesterday I ordered the big box chicken sandwich meal and it was amazing! The sandwich was every bit as good as chick filet, absolutely delicious! The macaroni was delicious and I usually don't care for their macaroni. The slaw was amazing and I was impressed with the fries, which I've never had before. The other reason for the great review today was the service. I went through the drive thru and listened to the lady in the car ahead of me order enough food for an army. I figured I would be waiting in the drive thru for an hour. She received her several large bags of food within a couple minutes. And I received my food immediately upon pulling up to the window. The lady working the window was friendly and wearing a big smile. Everything about my experience at kfc this time was perfect and I will be eating here more often. read more

This is the lowest star I could give. The front cashier had a constipated look on her face when I came up to order and I'm a truck driver so I don't have a choice where I want to eat but since I know that kfc has grilled chicken I thought perfect. I asked the girl if I could swap out the biscuits and the fake mashed potato for something lighter (more healthy) because it's hard enough out here as it is to get a healthy meal at a good non ripoff price and her and the manager got an attitude. The manager mumble...it's kfc not and I couldn't hear what else she said because like I said she mumbled but I'm sure it was some smart ass remark. I like their chicken. That is pretty much the whole reason for 4 stars. We generally get drive through, but when we have gone inside, we always get our food to go, the restaurant is dirty. The staff are not friendly AT ALL, and the buffet never seems fresh (it must be fresh at times-right? i have just never seen it.) I would LOVE to eat at a KFC Buffet, but i dont think i would ever feel safe trying it at THIS KFC. read more

I was a little apprehensive about coming here with some of the reviews, but was pleasantly surprised. I got here at 11 am, the staff was very friendly and the place was spotless. While I was eating, I noticed serval employees checking on things and cleaning the buffet and tables. With fried ckn hard to keep clean if you not constantly on top of it. We stopped in for the buffet on Sunday and were pleased with the offerings. The different styles of chicken were all lined up as well as a wide selections of side dishes. The chicken was tender and moist, with a great crispy crust (unless you went skinless). It was rather quiet while we dined which was also nice. In this town, if there is a buffet, it is soon overrun with a crowd, and often obnoxious folks are in that crowd. There was a female employee working that we deduced had some sort of disability, my partner suggested that it was "a touch of Downs", but that makes no difference. We watched as she went around clearing and cleaning tables. Very mindful of her duties and doing an excellent job. She was treated very nicely by the other employees, which we were pleased to witness. When what we decided was a "regular customer" arrived, she would greet them with a smile and by name, then give them a hug. Getting to behold this scene made our visit memorable and put the topper on our Sunday. We will enjoy dropping by after church again in the very near future. It is so nice to see a business like KFC offering jobs to people who through no fault of their own, might be otherwise considered unworthy, or a bad hire. This is by far the worst KFC that I have ever been to. The chicken tenders and the fries are always burnt to where there is nothing left, and the customer service is absolutely awful! How this location is still open blows my mind. They need a serious overhaul on staffing that actually know how to prepare food and actually smile at their customers! read more

Dined here tonight, and it was pathetic as usual. The only reason we went was my mother sent me 3 - $5.00 gift certificates. The first thing, I had to tell the "manager trainee" how much change to give me bad. The buffet had very little chicken selections, the extra crispy was out and finally came out about 5 minutes before we were done. I had to ask for white gravy, and the employees were touching the food without gloves. I guess the dessert was some kind of cobbler, I couldn't bring myself to try it, it look so bad.
