Waited over 20 minutes for "chicken" then when I got home and started eating I found multiple blue hairs. Smh. Tried to call and of course no answer. I ordered chicken not nasty ass long THICK blue hairs read more

Myself and another customer walk in at the same time and go to the counter. There are already four people that were waiting for their orders. They brought out one guy's two buckets in a bag. The lids were not put on the buckets, just thrown in the bag. He just shook his head and left. The guy behind me and I had been standing there for about eight minutes and no worker even looked at us. We both left and went to the KFC on Charlestown Road. The State Street store looked filthy dirty. Two employees were on their phones. This store should be shut down and deep cleaned. The Charlestown Road store was spotless, the employees were friendly and right on top of things. In and out in less than ten minutes. read more

They can never get our order right. I order it on the app. Once my husband came home and was missing half of the order. Check your order closely at the store if you want to try it. read more

I go to Louisville KY a lot of.times throughout the year and always looked at signs saying KFC buffet but never had the time to stop at any of those. Well one more thing off my bucket list for the cheap price of $8 dlls you get a plate and a cup and endless mashed potatoes,Cole slaw, chicken and ocra . The restaurant is pretty clean and they offer other stuff too but I love their mashed potatoes and their brown gravy. Who doesn't right? So the reason I'm giving them 4 stars instead of 5 is because chicken comes only on regular or crunchy recipe. My suggestion is add chicken stripes or popcorn chicken and different sauces nobody wants to eat jello at a buffet. Other than that the cornbread is a good choice but please add more choices. read more

We stood at the counter for about 5 minutes before someone acknowledged us and said they'd be with us in a moment. We waited another 2-3 minutes without being helped and decided to leave. We will not plan on returning to this location. read more

I've never had a problem with KFC's food. I've enjoyed their mashed potatoe w/ gravy, biscuit, and cole slaw. And, of course, I think their crispy chicken is pretty good - overall. This State Street location, however, is pretty bad. I've always done the drive-thru. For starters, the speaker needs to be replaced. It looks antiquated and the sound quality....well....there is no quality. There is constant distortion in the speaker, while the employee is speaking...so listen very carefully. Unfortunately, I've become accustomed to them running out of menu items. On one occasion they were out of crispy chicken - all together. And another time they ran completely out of soda. I will add, however, that the employee taking the order tried to make up for not having soda by adding an extra cookie or biscuit. I opted for the extra bread. I got up to the window to discover that the chicken legs were skimpy, so she added an extra leg. I got home and apparently she added two extra legs, extra biscuits, and a large mashed potatoe and gravy...and oh....my chicken was a bit over cooked....way more brown than what you'd expect. So while I appreciate her compensating (and she was friendly) for their inadequate inventory of food, this KFC location is a waste of time. Of all the fast food restaurants on State Street, this one definitely falls to the bottom. Colonel Sanders would not be happy. read more

Today was our yearly in home picnic in order to watch the Indianapolis 500 (yeah its a Hoosier thing). So instead of firing up the grill I picked up a 16 pc meal with 4 large sides & 8 biscuits. This is the first time that I had the Kentucky grilled chicken which is lowest calorie option that they have and it was good. The young lady working behind the counter threw in two large teas and even offered to help me carry this out to the car. Sometimes fast food restaurants get knocked for their lack on customer service but on this day KFC impressed. read more

Everything you should expect from KFC. The fried chicken is still finger licken good. Only wish they would bring back potato wedges.

Having eaten at KFC all over the country and hands down the worst is on State Street in New Albany Indiana. I placed an order using the mobile app and when I showed up to pick up my order I was told it would be 35 minutes as they were just dropping the chicken this was at 6:30 on a Tuesday evening. This was their 2nd chance I will still be a KFC customer but never at this store. read more

I used to love this Kentucky fried chicken. But lately all they've done is gotten my order wrong. I've gotten the $20 fill up several times usually two of them at a time because I have lots of people in my family. You never get to breast two wings to thighs two legs. You get whatever they throw in the box half the time it's not even eight pieces. I don't know when management slept enough that they can't even hire employees that can count. This is the worst one I've ever been to. I've even complained a couple of times but nothing seems to change because the management does not care to read more

One of the only KFC's left with a buffet. The quality is OK and its not the cleanest place, but it's cheap and convenient. I recommend the buffalo snackers. read more

The management at this store is dysfunctional. Allowing only drive through pickup of on line orders is insane. Twice I arrived to pick up an order at the designated time and had to wait in line while other orders were fulfilled. Waited 20 to 30 minutes to pick up a cold order. Never again. Observed at least 5 customers get in pickup line and leave. This can't be good business anytime. read more

I've gone there on and off for 10 years. Never a favorite, but my wife likes KFC. We went through the drive thru last night. My wife wanted their mashed potatoes. It took forever. I literally got out of our SUV, and walked to Popeyes which is nearby. I'll add that it was raining pretty heavily. Fortunately we had a big umbrella with us. I went to Popeyes, waited behind one customer, then ordered. As I was waiting, I noticed their drive they was pretty busy, but moved at a steady pace. I then texted my wife and told her I was ready to be picked up. She told me that she had just ordered her food. My wife was not happy with the service at all. Said the staff seemed indifferent. That seems to be the case there a lot. So if you are thinking about going there, don't. There are better options. Both Popeyes and Lee's have better chicken and service. read more

waited forever for our food and no one was even at the restaurant. Then we checked with them and confronted them about how long it was taking and they said it only took 5 minutes when it had been almost an hour and the receipt said so. They also then had to remake the whole order that they gave us because they made it wrong so i would not recommend. read more

I guess it is technically local, but seriously, with Hubers, John Es, Claudia Sanders, and other home food type friend chicken places in the Ville area, this is just for speed and convenience, not about quality. No reason for this to be rated as a wing restaurant. read more

So, as a rule I do not frequent establishments like KFC due to a myriad of dietary issues. However, I recently visited with family while they grabbed a bite. We were greeted at the door by a clearly irritated employee, ordered our buffet and went about our business. I pause here to add that ordering felt a little more like begging someone not to be mad at us for entering their sacred domain. I've never felt like I had to apologize for spending money at a restaurant before! All I had was a diet soda, but my brother turned to dig into the buffet. Immediately there was a glaring issue - nearly no food on the buffet. I asked if we could have some mashed potatoes - much eye rolling ensued. We had to ask for more chicken and biscuits as well. Each time more painful than the one before. Plenty more people came in after us, yet the food was not restocked for over 20 minutes. Just as we were about to give up and leave - some chicken came out. Enough people had been waiting around for food that this small batch didn't go far. Really, the experience was disappointing. Would not recommend. read more

I am giving this one star because I can't leave a negative rating. I ordered online (their website) and got a confirmation and pickup time of 7:07. Fine no problem. I get there at 7:07 and wait five minutes at the countrer behind two gentlemen who still had not seen a worker come up. They finlly take their order and s-l-o-w-l-y fill it. Then they can't find my order (asked if I ordered thru Grubhub) I tiold them no and offered them my order confirmation number. First they could not find a record of my order. They then inform me the order will not be ready for 15 more minutes, because they gave my order to somebody in the drive thru rather than hold my hot wings for the order that was confirmed by their own website almost 45 minutes ago. When they told me they don't start on an online order until the people actually show up, I asked why was I given a pickup time when they had no intention of having it ready at that time. The girl gave me a blank look like she was trying to comphrend my meaning. Not happy and will tell everyone to avoid this location. read more
