When we arrived at the restaurant we accidentally pulled in the wrong aisle and were unable to access the drive thru lane. I got very sick after eating the market salad on 8/29/25..I had only eaten a little bit of the salad before I noticed lot of the lettuce was brown and didn't taste fresh at all. I called and spoke to the manager Anna and her response was give me your name and number ask me how long after I had eaten the salad did I get sick . You could pull into a parking spot, walk inside, order, eat, order a shake, receive shake, then walk out and leave faster than you could make it through their drive thru line. I watched multiple people walk inside, order, and leave in significantly less time than their drive through. They recently installed a dual drive thru lane, but it is closed. It should also be a daily fine from the municipality for continuing to back traffic into the street and creating safety concerns. It pains me to leave this review as I am a frequent customer at this location, as well as a Chick Fil A signature member, but something has to change. For the second time in the past few weeks I have ordered breakfast through the app before heading to the restaurant to pick up my food. when I get there I go to say I'm at the store it cancels my order. Neither time has it been past breakfast hours (10:30), but is close. By the time I talk to someone in the store it is no longer breakfast. The first time this happened they resolved the issue by serving me breakfast but today they refused. When it comes to fast food spots CFA reigns in multiple areas. They are fast (drive thru and in restaurant), they serve good, quality food, the restaurants and outside area are always clean, they are pretty much consistent no matter what city or state you're ordering your food from, and need I state the obvious....the caliber of their employees....well....CFA has set a very high bar. And I LOVE IT!! I remember being blown away when I first heard them saying "it's my pleasure" when I thanked them. Those three words automatically put me in a fantastic mood for the original chicken place. The one area I personally grade / compare one CFA location from the other is how fast and efficient they operate the drive-thru. Rarely ever do I encounter a slow CFA drive-thru. A location in Kennesaw, GA was all star in this area, so all other locations got compared to it. Whether it prime lunch time, right after work, or a Saturday (notice I didn't say weekend to include Sundays) and whether they are 5 or 15 cars deep, or whether I was visiting a location in GA, TX, KY, IN, or wherever, the drive-thru moves along very quickly. They are teaching those kids how to keep it popping and stay focused on cooking it up, bagging it up, taking in the money, ensuring accurate orders, all while smiling and telling you to have a nice day and that it's a pleasure to serve you. Their sauces and milk shakes are awesome. Never tried the CFA sauce??..try it!!...especially on the waffle fries. I've never ordered anything from CFA I didn't like. This particular New Albany location is great. They are very friendly, great eye contact, and great at making sure the drive-thru isn't slow or doesn't get backed up because they need a couple of extra minutes on the fries, chicken fingers, etc. One time the line was so long and yet moved so very quickly I had to compliment the manager who happened to be helping out at the window that day. Normally we have a great experience with the Chick Fila on state street. However this past weekend my mother placed an order for 30 nuggets. The store got it wrong and charged her for enough nuggets for 30 people. I can easily see how the error can be made but both the store and corporate are not going to do anything to make it right. I would ask that anyone I know not visit this location as they certainly are not providing the type of customer care I am used to from the Chick Fila organization. There is a line out the door as I am typing this, but it is moving quickly & effortlessly. They should have considered building a bigger location here. I doubt they ever could have expected to be this busy all the time. It's lunchtime now, but at sporadic times I've visited this location it's always been steady at a minimum. I also didn't think one location could be better than another in terms of friendliness...but this one takes the cake. I will drive the extra 15 minutes from the next nearest location to come to this one. There's a young man named David in the dining area that has gone out of his way to keep the area clean. I went through the Chick-fil-a drive thru, what a joke. I was the 4th car from the window where they pass out the food and I received my food before the 3 cars in front of me. The car behind me also received their food before the cars in front of me. I said something to the employee handing out the food that my food is now cold waiting on the cars in front of me. She said she would get her manager. The manager took my food and had me pull up to wait for supposedly fresh food. I believe all they did was give me back the same cold food. I only live about 3 minutes from Chick-fil-A there is no way if my food was hot when I received it that it would be ice cold when I got home. This location has turned into a horrible location. This is the worst chick fil a, I always get chicken minis with a side of honey butter, they charge extra to get it which is fine but when they don't even coat the bottom of the cup it's a joke. They literally do this every time. So this morning I saw a bigger cup that looked to be filled up more than usual I was finally pleased with that or so I thought but instead of honey butter they gave me a cup of regular butter so when I dipped my chicken minis in it was absolutely disgusting. I have always loved Chick-Fil-A but I have really struggled with this particular location. While other Chick-fil-A's have opened up dinning rooms, this Chick-fil-A has remained closed. The drive through line always extends out to State Street, yet they close mobile curbside at 8:00pm. Today we went to grab some dinner after a long day and found that the only option was drive through and Curbside has been removed permanently. The drive through line was at the way out to State Street and wasn't worth the hour plus wait. This Chick-fil-A definitely does not represent the quality of the company as a whole and has consistently performed sub par of other Chick-fil-A locations. Great place to grab lunch if you're in a hurry. They are well prepared and the food is always good. I got to meet the store owner last time I was there and was happy to see him out front working a cash register and taking orders just like the other employees. Sometimes the higher ups get too far removed from the workers and lose touch with how things really work.
