The General Manager of the Jeffersonville, IN store will not take my calls and they are refusing any response. I finally decided to give Qdoba a try after hearing soooo much about how great their food is - Tex Mex I believe and not necessarily Mexican. Bottom line - I think their food is OK. It's nothing I'll ever crave or give hype or give props to. I've waited a very long time in long lines and seen employees wipe sweat off their foreheads while preparing food. Urg!! Other than this, the employees have been friendly. I've eaten their food at least three times already, hoping I'd catch the craze wave - still searching... They offer burritos, burrito bowls, quesadillas, cheese/queso dips, etc. The meat offering is good, although I think they lack flavor. I sampled without the fixings and the flavor just isn't there. The beef, in particular, didn't taste like beef to me - so I wouldn't doubt it's the cheap / inexpensive version. The chicken was tender enough, but again, it lacked flavor. I ordered the chicken quesadilla and it was huge. That's a plus, considering they are pricey. I personally think the high price is to pay for the quantity rather than the quality. The highly hyped queso dip was a huge disappointment. Again, it lacked real flavor despite the variety of ingredients and spices floating around. It tasted watered-down to me. I really enjoy Tex-Mex and have tried several restaurants over the years, so in comparison, this one just doesn't measure up for my personal taste. A good note (for an added star) - While waiting for my chicken quesadilla on the grill to finish, I read their United By Flavor manifesto. It's a campaign to declare that their brand is grounded in flavor and their belief that there is more in this world that unites people than divide, along with their constant drive towards innovation. If you have been to Qdoba then you know a qdoba is a qdoba. For those of you who have not, this is a Mexican Style fast food restaurant. You go through the line and let them know what you want added to your burrito, taco bowl, or salad. I love Qdoba. They have great food and options. The price is pretty good. I also LOVE their queso and chips. Their chips have a slight lime flavoring. I was able to look up their gluten free options online. With that said, the staff is not always very friendly. Some are and some are not. They seem to hate being there and dealing with people. They will get you through the line quickly with your correct order. I recommend Qdoba but just know that the service may not be what you'd like. read more

Worst review possible.. Well in December I placed a large To Go order.. I get home.. and it was All wrong. So I called the store and the manager asked me if I would bring it back and they'll remake. That was definitely not possible since I was home. So he offers to send me a comp.. I'm like okay. Two days the comp came... ONE FREE ENTREE. ONE. Out of a large order! At that point I'm mad but I'm like ok whatever. Fast forward to today. I go in to use it- and I asked the worker if I could get what I was supposed to get last time- she says yes sure. Last time one of the mess ups which was personally mine was Loaded tortilla soup (Mexican gumbo) with extra meat. Once I told her she told me I could not get it and I could only get a entree listed. The loaded tortilla soup IS an entree. So I got a burrito bowl with literally a small scoop of meat. The cashier was very nice. I can at least say that. Now out of a $45 order I got 1 comp card and didn't even get my order. THATS SAD. I'll never be back! read more

I really enjoy Qdoba's food but what I don't enjoy is them taking my online order, charging my card, and then simply closing the store. Middle of the day on a Wednesday. I can see two workers inside just sitting there eating. No one answering the phone or the door. They finally come to the door, I explain that I placed an online and my card was charged but they told me they are closed and I'm out of luck. I used to eat at Qdoba all. the. time. Literally almost daily. But, over the past two years they have continuously raised their prices, tinkered with the menu, and dropped much loved items. At the same time they have shrunk their drink sizes while raising the prices, changed their logos, and started allowing their staff to come to work looking like they just rolled out of bed all in the name of "appealing to millenials". I am a millenial. None of this is appealing. Today they told me that regular tacos now cost $9, the price of their overpriced knockout tacos. Regular tacos have always been on the menu as a $7.25 item and use the same ingredients as the burrito sans the rice. But, nope now they are $9. Enough. I grew up on Qdoba because my father and brother loved it so much but as I've gotten older I have been a spectator of their decline. I went in today to the Charlestown Rd location. I called ahead to make sure they weren't out of the ingredients I wanted on my burrito, they said they wouldn't be because management was coming in. I was going there specifically to try their new shrimp and was so excited. Upon arrival the line was quick but the shrimp looked unseasoned and was being soaked in seasoned water it appeared. I then noticed they were out of fajita veggies (one thing I specifically asked if they would be out of). When I asked if they could please make some more they said no. I then continued to watch my burrito maker toss around my burrito in attempt to fold. It was so sloppy that if I attempted to pick it up everything would fall out, he left it like that. Horrible. We work nearby and actually had a pool at work on how fast after the trainers left for this new location, they would screw it up. Don't get me wrong, we love Qdoba and were thrilled one opened up nearby. Then the work talk started, :How long before they screw it up?" After watching the folks that would be running it, we thought it would be fun to bet on how quick it would go bad. I won at 28 days! I actually had to take pictures that my co-workers had to agree was the 'jump the shark' point. I'll post them just for proof that it jumped. To explain my winning entry: there was one guy at the counter complaining his order was wrong, the manager had a group of young girls around him showing them pictures on his cell phone ignoring the one girl dealing with the customer, there was a huge spill of food in the dining room (see picture) that they just put a 'Wet Floor' sign over and laughed about not cleaning it up. As time went on (and we sadly ate), the man kept complaining about his food (they argued, didn't fix it), the manager hauled out a garbage can from the boxes they put them in and was gone for 10 minutes. SEVERAL people dumped their trays, with no garbage can in it. He didn't clean it up, just pushed the can back in the box. One girl came out, we thought she was going to clean, but she just talked to a friend eating there about how to get a job. (For some reason, they only hired very similar looking brunettes, as was the case with the friend. I guess that's the key to getting a job, it was just weird, like Stepford Wives. I guess the managers preference.) And when we left, STILL a sign over the spilled food. Almost 30 minutes from the time we came in, covered with a 'Caution Wet Floor', and left. By the way, see my other picture, two tacos, look at the grease. The other picture shows 1) the place was empty, there was no reason not to clean and 2) look at the smeared, dirty tables. Watch the online ordering on this qudoba...usually I love the place but I was advised to order online...bad mistake. The addresses were a little vague on the initial prompt. Wesley commons...??? It was the only one that came up for new albany...then I mistakenly thought it was Charlestown rd...don't know the names of strip malls? forgive me...but??? The guy was extremely helpful at Charlestown but it wasn't the right restaurant...got to the state st. store. My order wasn't registered here either and the acting PIC didn't give a hoot. Didn't try to help me understand but I had ordered and hit the right buttons. Got back to the house ...their web is frozen...I can't even cancel the order...you hit the buttons and nothing happens. I drove around New Albany looking for an order that didn't exist but the state street store could have cared less or even desire to find out what was going on. Poor customer relations. read more

The downside is most of the employees at this location seem very unhappy with their job. It's a very dull and negative experience most of the time for this reason. Not one smile. read more

I like Qdoba, I work nearby. I used to go a few times a week, it's healthy and affordable. I stopped going as much because, while some of the staff are great, there's some rude ones too. I didn't and don't like the impression I'm bothering someone. I tried again today, the young lady was a bit huffy and a tad rude.
