Wow! I had nothing but friendly, fast and helpful service. Each team member was so careful to not only greet guests as they entered, but say good bye as they left, even during a lunch rush. The ambiance was quick casual, with some light music playing in the background, but I needed to get some work down, and the rhythmic business of the store almost served as white noise. I have to say that I have switched from Sub Station to JERSEY MIKES in Daisy Ln in New Albany! The staff is OUTSTANDING, the food is OUTSTANDING, the cleanliness of the store is OUTSTANDING! I used to get a #19 from sub station UNTIL I FOUND the # 13 at JERSEY MIKES! OMG, I cannot tell you just how good it is! You'll have to go for yourself! The staff is very accommodating to any of your needs, I had surgery on my hand and arm and they had no problem cutting the sandwich in 4 pieces for me. They are ALL so nice at this store! The store is spotless to say the least! I recommend them 100%. I'd give them 10 stars if I could!! read more

Today's experience at this restaurant was almost traumatizing. I haven't ate pork in 4 years because I converted to Islam and they served me a chicken, bacon, ranch wrap instead of a buffalo chicken one. After waiting OVER 20+ mins for my wrap... I opened saw it looked orange inside so I tried to take a bite heard a crunch stopped chewing and looked and there was bacon hiding under the chicken. I spit out went back inside they tried to just make me another one and luckily after talking to a different employee I just got a refund for my other food. Tbh I just think this is unacceptable. I was using my birthday free reg. Sub or wrap to get this item and I have ate at other Jersey Mikes with zero problems. Best tasting subs I've had in a long time! To be honest, I visited here once before about a year ago, but I found them to be a bit expensive. I still go, but only occasionally because of the price. That said I still have to accentuate the positive. They have really delicious subs and the staff is very courteous and attentive at the State Street and Daisy Lane location in New Albany. We moved close to this location in 2021 and although I've seen a few stores come and go at this strip, Jersey Mikes is still here and seems to be doing well. Overall I would recommend them for having excellent sub sandwiches (hot and cold). The ONLY reason I didn't give 5 stars is the price especially considering that to get a normal size sub, you'll pay $8.25-$9.75 before tax. This price doesn't include anything like chips or a drink either. They do have a rewards program. Very clean dine in location too! read more

We've been here several times and always had a good experience and good subs. The employees who have waited on us have been polite and made great subs. I'm hoping the employees mentioned in the one star reviews are no longer working here. My favorite sub is the roast beef. It's always nice and rare just how I like it, and they don't skimp on the ingredients. The vegetarian sub with portabella mushrooms was good also. read more

I couldn't tell you whether my sandwich was good or not. The whole experience was anxiety inducing. The space is claustrophobic. And there's one employee who is such an absolute asshole that I sat there weighing the pros and cons of an assault charge while listening to him talk to people's kids like a jackass. One kid was looking to her parent for guidance about what to order and this motherfucker yelled at her. "Look at me, not at her!" This kid (and mom) looked like they'd been slapped and the kid mumbled something to which the asshole responded with more yelling. Mom and kid managed to order and moved down to pay. Next was a mom and a little boy who got the same treatment. The kid looked like he might cry and mom jumped in to order. A co-worker attempted to intervene and was rebuked. "I have to have the kid the tell me what they want so the parent doesn't whine to me!" But you could be nicer. "I'm sorry but that's the way I was raised..." But, you're scaring that kid. "Oh! I'm scary! Tell that kid to suck it up!" I had to leave. And I won't be back. Y'all might wanna fix this guy's attitude before a parent slaps the shit out of him. read more

When I was in the area I got this Jersey Mike's sub that I really truly enjoyed very much. I got the ham and cheese with lettuce pickles: a good old seasoning sauce they put on it on some toasted bread and it was fantastic. First off, let me tell you that I used to eat at Jersey Mike's Subs all the time in New Jersey. I loved it!! It was definitely my favorite sandwich shop. I missed it when I first returned to the area but they soon followed. Although I don't have it frequently because none of the locations are convenient to home, I still enjoy it when I can. Today I had that opportunity but I was not impressed at all. I'm now diabetic and decided that none of the bread or wrap options were going to cut it so I ordered a roast beef and provolone tub. I've had a "tub" before and it was actually a salad. Today it was rolled up meat and cheese with a little lettuce thrown in the container. Let me reiterate that I paid $10.20 plus a delivery fee for a little rolled up meat and cheese. This is an outrageous price for something that doesn't come close to equaling a meal. I'm extremely disappointed. I'm not happy with the response to my review. I ordered my food delivered so I had no say in how it was made. If I'd been in the store I would have asked for more. This situation didn't allow it. To imply I'm at fault for such a small quantity of food is unacceptable. After seeing Jersey Mike's commercial asking consumers to support their campaign to donate 20% of sales to Feeding America this weekend, I decided to give them a first-time-ever try. I ordered online Saturday only to find out they don't offer delivery - pick up only. I called the store to verify and the employee confirmed this to be true and then apologized. I tried today being I could get away. The online ordering process is relatively simple. The earliest pick up time is 30 minutes from the time of ordering. I arrived 10 minutes early and there were 7 customers waiting & practicing social / physical distancing (so glad!!). I was greeted immediately, as all customers since my arrival, and was told my order is still being worked on after giving her the name on my order. Ten minutes later my order was finished and on time. They were out of multiple potato chip varieties and Pepsi, but had plenty alternatives to choose from. They offer Pepsi products and a couple of Stubborn Soda varieties. Stubborn Soda Root Beer was really good. Now...a review on the customer service. There were 3 employees. One cooking, the other cutting cold cuts, and the third making the subs. These ladies were really working diligently. It was very obvious that they were understaffed, yet they were working diligently and with the best attitude. They had a system to prepare the to-go bag with the customer's ticket taped to the outside - and there was plenty of these bags on the counter waiting their turn to be filled and carried out by its respective customer. I was impressed with their friendliness and attention given to the customers while working as quickly as possible to not only fill the orders, but to complete them accurately. My only complaint (hence, the one star deduction) was that my Cheese Steak was overcooked. Everything else about my experience made up for my overcooked steak. My sandwich (essentially my meal) wasn't absolutely horrible, but certainly not "a sub above". I'm willing to give Jersey Mike's another try one day. This was my first experience at a Jersey Mike's. It's overpriced and I will not return. The staff acted irritated when we were trying to find out how much it would cost for combos vs not getting combos, we'd never been there and you'd think that wouldn't be such an inconvenience. For 3 subs, 2 minis and 1 regular with 1 of the minis being a combo it was almost $28. You can't get the sandwich heated or toasted and the topping options are very limited. I'm a big sandwich person. while I do think Jersey Mike's sandwiches are totally yummy, I regularly go to this specific sandwich shop because of the service. The workers always smiling, overly friendly, and eager to make every customer happy. It's unusual these days to find a place where ALL the staff are friendly and inviting. Extremely impressed with this location!!! Doing a great job - thanks for making me smile everyday in my lunch break. I even used the delivery service this week and when Jersey's Mikes realized that door dash was over 30 min late delivering my office order they called and offered to remake the sandwiches. I frequently stop at the Jersey Mike's off Hurstborne Pkwy in Louisville. They always have great service and our food is consistently good. Reluctantly, I stopped in the New Albany location hoping they have worked out there issues with staffing by now because they're new. I asked for a #10 Tuna melt and the staff said they couldn't prepare it. This is what I get at every Jersey Mike's I visit without any issue. I left without a sandwich. I agree with other reviewer's. The service here is terrible. I became interested in the store on the idea of getting to go orders. Jersey Mikes has a very convenient app on the iPhone to order sandwiches. The problem is when you show up to get your sandwich a half hour later no one has started making it and they continue to make the customer's in line sandwiches while you sit there. Wow. I am not sure what happened to this place. When I first went in about a month ago, great service, employees smiling and the best hot sub I had ever had at any of their stores from California to Indiana. Not today. Horrible service, was treated like I was bothering them. One guy in particular he was the only one there in a red shirt. Rude, would not listen to what I was telling him I wanted to order. When finally he did take my order, when I told him what toppings I would like after. He said we do t do that, tell me now so we can make it. Never asked what type of bread. When our food was finally ready, the bun was cold on a hot sub. Wrong toppings and meat was scarce at best. Hate to see that happen as this is one of the few places I will eat subs or sandwiches.
