Tuesday, Kid wanted KFC strips. 28 minutes in drive through. Served 3 cars ahead of me. I saw the writing on the wall, but you can guess what happened. Probably was only one employee, because he closed the kitchen door 15 minutes to closing and looked at the line of 8 cars waiting when he did. 28 minutes and served 2 or 3 customers as far as I could tell. When you come to this KFC it's like Russian Roulette,lol. You never know what your experience will be . Today was ok,basic,nothing much expected,but I was starving after being out all day. Unfortunately I forgot to take pics due to that reason only. We ordered the 5 dollar fill-ups #7 which is breast meal with mashed and drink with cookie . Extra crispy and it was a little over-cooked to my liking . Breading wasn't greasy it was ok . Potatoes you can't really mess up ,but my biscuit was dry as can be . My friend ordered the #8 which was famous bowl fill-up with biscuit and drink cookie on the side. She gobbled that bowl up and said it was good ,but that biscuit was terrible ,but if you sop it in the gravy you will be ok. Awful. They didn't give us any eating utensils because they were "out". They took our order then at the window, after we paid told us they were out of Mac n cheese and fruit punch. During a road trip to Vermont with friends, we found ourselves needing to stop for dinner earlier in the journey than we expected as we had been delayed setting off from Manhattan (some confusion about whether we were all supposed to bring our stuff to the office). As a result we left the highway at Meriden, and headed to KFC drawn by the promise of the Colonel's secret blend of 11 herbs and spices. To be honest, the menu was a bit disappointing - no Zinger burgers or fries. But once we made our choice (the 10 piece bucket) we were pleased with the chicken and impressed with the sides - tasty coleslaw and mac and cheese. The overall view was that the boneless chicken was the better choice though there was one dissenter who preferred his chicken with bones. I like KFC, but it is most likely the most poorly run chain in the US. This particular KFC is terribly managed 1- I looked around and was happy I was doing take out, as the place was a mess. 2- walked up to the counter but no one paid any attention, only interested in the drive through. After a few minutes of being overtly ignored I called out, people looked at me and one said " I am taking orders". I turned away to leave when someone came over and called me back, I hesitated but did go back. 3- I gave my order and they were confused about the promotion, I was able to show them the promotion was running. 4- Then they said they had no original chicken. This is by far the worse KFC. It's a "chicken" place and they hardly ever have crispy chicken, chicken breast or corn which I find very odd. First off, the drive thru ALWAYS takes FOREVER to the point that I have to turn off my vehicle! My last visit here, I ordered crispy chicken with mashed potatoes. Once I got home & sat down to eat, I noticed that my chicken was original & my mashed was old with dried up gravy. I drove all the way back for them to tell me that they don't have any crispy chicken breast but if I wanted to wait, they can have it ready for me in 16 minutes. Fast food in 16 minutes isnt fast food. I only went again because my son wanted a sandwich from there. Never again. we waited a long time in line at drive thru. Each car was stopping at the window forever. When we finally got up to the window, nobody even came to get money from us. My husband tapped on the window and the lady could care less. My husband said..never mind and we left. Had mcdonalds! (Where people greeted us and we got food!!). Ps. Haven't been to a KFC in years because it's usually a disappointment. Today we ordered a large amount of food through the online ordering to pick up in about an hour and a half time. We went to go inside and pick it up but the doors were locked. Ended up going through the drive thru and handed 2 larger bags of food. We ended up getting home and realizing that they forgot an entire bucket meal and the sides. We tried calling multiple times with no pick up on their end. Ended up driving the 20 minutes back there to wait in the drive thru and try to explain the situation. The manager came to the window and was arguing with us about the amount of food missing. He said he wouldn't refund any money but finally agreed to give us the missing food items. No apology and no customer service. By that point I didn't even want the food and wanted a refund but he stated that they don't give refunds at that location. Never again. I don't even feel comfortable eating the food that was given to us because of the way it was packed and the way the situation was handled. read more

Ordered thru drive thru, and the woman was sooo rude, like she didnt want to take our order. Drive up to get our food and pay, the workers were literally fighting in the back and all we heard was alot of cursing and screaming. The woman at the window wouldnt even look at us, she pretty much threw the food at us in the car, idk what her problem was but she was having a bad day!!!! This was at 6pm Saturday August 24th. This KFC. Is a joke, the people are rude and the product is skimpy. When you roll up you can't place an order because the speaker is is always broken. The employees are always rude and don't welcome you or say thank you. The site itself is so unappealing the grass is never mowed and it is full of weeds.
