The restaurant is usually disgustingly dirty. The tables are filthy. The furniture is ripped, the windows are greasy. The soda machine should be condemned it has sediment stained into the side of the Stainless steel It also hasn't worked in 3 years. The floors are sticky. The Crispy chicken is usually cold tasteless mushy, the mash potatoes is usually cold the ive gotten cold gravey with a thick film on the top before the Service is Non-existent and they act like youre a hassle if you go to the counter to order, there is no sanitation I watch one worker pick up chicken to put in the fryer after touching money, no gloves no washing hands. That place is Nasty Corporate refuses to look into it and the county refuses to send in the health inspector, and I doubt the warmers have been cleaned in months, you can tell because the stainless in dingy not just a days worth of greese but months. Bought a LJS family meal- waiting about 15 minutes for the staff to "make fresh food", or so I was told. Disgusting. Everything was inedible and gross.... Just supersaturated in oil, and the 4 chicken strips were all as rubbery as they could possibly be. Think fried basketball. A waste of ingredients and resources. And my money. Probably good - if you're looking to get hospitalized. To add insult to injury- the store number on the receipt doesn't work to send any complaint to the corporate customer service department and nobody at the store itself answers the phone. Not a good experience..Rude service and aweful food..It was not close to closing, but she used that as an excuse when they were out of original and had to make more. I had to wait for it. I didn't feel welcome. The chicken skin was dry and burned. Horrible taste. It was just nasty and way too salty. I ordered beans and stuff and no napkins or utensils. I had a few good quality experiences there. But, that one time was aweful. Bad all around. Seems like quality control is definitely an issue. DON'T GO HERE. Unless you love being disrespected. We went there this evening, placed an order for 2 items and after some discussion about what exactly I wanted, I drove to the window where they handed me our order. Nice & quick. But, no receipt. We drove across the street to the Chevron and pulled out the food to grab a quick bite when my husband saw the fish & shrimp platter was only fish. I checked mine and there were no mashed potatoes or gravy, as I specifically asked for to be in my combo meal. We drove back to KFC/Long John Silver's and explained to the gal at the window. She went and got another gal so I explained it to her. She argued that the shrimp were placed under the fries. We pulled out the order and I opened it and moved the fries around in front of her. No shrimp. She said, 'Well, we don't know what happened between the times you left and came back". She handed me the order of 6 shrimp. I then asked where were my mashed potatoes. She said I got fries. I told her I ordered mashed potatoes and gravy and that's what I wanted. She said I would have to pay for them. I told her I already paid for my meal and it was not correct. She asked if I wanted to order them. I gave up. Once I drove away, it occurred to me she was accusing us of stealing the shrimp! Ok, so I'm slow; she thought we drove away, stopped and ate the shrimp, came back and complained about our order so we could get free shrimp! Of course, because every well-mannered senior American stops in at their local KFC to steal 6 shrimp. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Not only did she not apologize, she refused to correct her mistake and accused us of stealing. WOW. AND as we drove home my husband then tells me she got his order wrong 2 weeks ago and when he asked her for the correct food order at the window she told him he'd have to drive back around through the drive-through! So this is an ongoing issue. This 'manager' is teaching the rest of her crew by the worst example possible. I know it's just a little chicken chain but this used to be a decent place with reliable service. I ordered on line, they do not tell you that you have to go through the drive through to get your food, they do not answer their phone, are slow, and will not come to the door... they were confused with what my order was... it would have been quicker to just go to the drive through... I definitely do not recommend ordering online with this location and it's questionable to even get food from that location. read more

I've never gone when they are packed busy, but whenever I visit his KFC it is clean and friendly. Even after hours the employees will acknowledge you and let you know that they're closed if they see you approaching. I'm sad to see so many bad reviews on cleanliness. This place has always been clean when I dine in. I'm not surprised if these reviews are based on when they are totally slammed or short handed. It happens. Managers are attentive and pleasant. I got a 5 dollar fill-up and the chicken in my sandwich didn't taste crispy at all, it tasted chewy which leads me to believe it was old. The pickles were piled in one spot not distributed and they gave me the BUTT OF THE PICKLE!!The fries were old (you could tell by the ends) and one of them actually tasted stale. Just not great. I have stopped here on a few occasions driving through the Lower Lake area and it is lucky it's practically the only thing around, because the quality is always mediocre at best. First of all, regardless of how big your meal order is, they will give you one single sauce. If you don't look carefully, you'll find yourself trying to eat 20 popcorn nuggets with a single sauce. I finally learned my lesson the second time and ask them for an additional sauce, which they appeared very hesitant to give me. Also, their soda machine is frequently broken. The fries were greesey and tasted like they had been under a heat lamp for a couple of days. And I'm not trying to sound ungreatful but this meal is supposed to come with a cookie but there wasn't one, along with the box that the meal is supposed to come in, the food was thrown in a bag and that was it. I've been coming here for years, but will never return!! I ordered the large family meal so that way my husband would have leftovers for work. We live about 25 minutes from kfc so when we got home and discovered they forgot 1 order of mashed potatoes I looked for receipt to call them to let them know that they forgot and we were too far to go back. I spoke to the manager Salvador whom was very sorry and insisted that next time we came that we would get mashed potatoes AND chicken too for the inconvenience. I was extremely happy and felt good after getting off the phone with him. Also I did mention that we did not get a receipt, he said no problem and took my name down. We went yesterday, about 1 to 1 &1/2 months later and went in and spoke to Salvador in person. Long story short he made me and my family look like a fool!!! He went in the back to check for my name, after a long wait and said he didn't have any record of who I was and kept asking for the receipt!!!! I eventually said never mind we are going to leave because you are making me feel as if I'm coming in to look for free food. So embarrassing and annoying!
