The dining room was adequate size and mostly clean. The outdoor seating area was a hit on a sunny weekday afternoon. I chose a booth to set in. The meal was the correct temperature, the soda good. The main chicken fingers needed the accompanying sauce or ketchup. I found it a bit greasy, but crispy and pretty good. The crinkle fries good. The overall meal hits average for me. After finishing a manager checked on me as I was clearing my tray off in the trash. He gave me some company history and explained they may be a chain, but strong local founding. The girl at the counter was taking my order and decided to answer her phone while taking my order, and I will say that it was hard enough to understand her with the cultural language gap between the two of us. I didn't see heat choices for the sauces, but there were descriptions of each. While I wanted a hot buffalo, I got buffalo with no heat. I do like to dip that in Cajun seasoning, but she told me that wasn't available on the side. I did discover though when I went to eat it that there was Cajun seasoning on my fries, which is OK. My boneless chicken was really juicy and cooked perfectly, so I guess my only complaint was the lack of heat in the sauce and that I couldn't get Cajun on them, or for them also. it seems that the entire time I was there waiting for my food and looking around the girl in the front was on her phone as well as the Cook in the back. Keep it simple, small menu, done right. Chicken fingers, fries, slaw, toast Cane's sauce and of course their crunch ice. Love it all, no complaints on the food. Any Cane's location I have gone to, the interior is similar, but they give it a local flare to honor the area. Love the funky design and music. One thing though, almost every location I have been to is very cold inside, no matter the weather outside, probably to keep the employees cool, but bring a light jacket, . The staff is always cool at Cane's, never had an issue. I like that they still say "Hot fresh chicken for..." on every order. It is important to stay close to your roots. If you have never tried Cane's give them a shot, it will become one of your favorite spots. Enjoy!

I get home for my mom to realize they shorted us one Deluxe chicken sandwich. My mom said it would be better to go back and get the correct sandwich.
