I think I eat at the huge fast food chains baby less than 10 times a year. After a night of partying, I had this random urge for KFC. I know how regulars be knowing the menu like the back of their hands, but it's been so long and I had to pause and actually study the menu. The woman at the window was very patient as I observed the menu and ask questions about drinks and sides. I ended up getting a tenders meal with a biscuit and mac and cheese and I was so satisfied. I loved the chicken with honey barbecue and honey mustard, the biscuit was everything I needed, and the mac and cheese was just aight. I've had some amazing mac though, I wouldn't expect a chain like this to live up to it. This is not something I would do regularly, but it was a nice spontaneous late night splurge. And my gosh, when did fast food get so expensive?! I remember when everything used to be under $10. read more

Service: Polite and fast. Food: Gave me diarrhea. I ordered Original recipie, coleslaw & greenbeans. I eat kfc, maybe twice a year. But this experience is a harsh reminder that I shouldn't touch the stuff. read more

this shit ass. food is buttcheeks. barely can reach the bone. service is bad. no manners and always have a attitude

During my recent visit, the store was not busy; however, I was one of only a couple of customers who had to wait a long time. I observed one employee walk around, ignoring customers as she made phone calls. She finally took my order but didn't seem happy about it. Another employee had to ask whether I had been helped; a third employee finally delivered my order. In the future, I will choose to shop at the Greenbelt store, even though it is farther from my home, because the service there is much quicker and the employees are more courteous. The staff at the Lanham location could benefit from additional customer service training. read more

I can't believe all the bad reviews. I just finished eating mine and let me say It was all fresh, piping hot, and tasty. I ordered the 6 pc extra crispy meal with Mac n Chz & coleslaw. I also received 10 saucy honey bbq nuggets for free since it was a digital order. I arrived 5 mins early for my quick pick up. The staff was very attentive & I received my order in maybe 2 minutes. Everything was correct that's all I can ask for with a pickup. I will definitely be back when I am craving some KFC. The biscuit I just ate is giving Popeyes a run for their money! It definitely was fluffy like a pillsbury biscuit. KFC will forever have the best coleslaw. If they switch their Mac n Chz to a baked one, the whole meal will be 10/10. I wish I took some pics of the food but it was soooo good it did not stand a chance!!! read more

Well went here for the first time in forever. The white chicken was very good. We each got the three piece meal. The sides fries, mashed potatoes and cole slaw were ok. The amount of fries was pretty small but they were crispy. The one thing that I'm am extremely disappointed about is the biscuit. It was not a biscuit. It was a little store bought soft roll that was stale. Awful. KFC charges too much for the small size sides, especially the fries, and stale fake biscuits. I can see why KFC had no business and McDonalds, right next door, was booming. I gave two stars because of the chicken. I really can't recommend this place. I almost never say that. read more

Stopped my daughter here before she went skating. Should've let her just get pizza from the rink. What was I thinking. I went thru the drive-thru, pretty promptly. The young lady was pleasant who took my order. I ordered the chicken strips for her and because the aroma of chicken caught my nose..,I gave in and ordered a box of chicken too. My daughter asked for an extra chicken leg for her friend, so I got it. After pulling away, we opened my box first and noticed the containers of my side items were sitting ON TOP of my chicken!! I can't stand that!! Why would I want something that's been on the counter, on top of my food?! Then we opened the box with the chicken leg that I ordered and it was THE SMALLEST chicken wing, I've ever seen. It had to have come from a finch. My pieces were greasy and skin was flapping off. I should've left well enough alone and drove past KFC. I won't be back here or any other KFC. Oh btw...my daughters tenders looked tasty. Ambiance: just ok read more

is this KFC closed? I went yesterday and it was pitch black at 6 pm. It was a storm but everything else was open and had power.

I ordered the famous chicken bowl and it was bussin. Chicken and corn in every bite love it.

The service here is terrible I was trying to pick up an order and when I got to the drive thru they told me to wait in the parking lot, I waited for 10 minutes before going to the door and when I got there they asked me to pick it up at the drive through that is ridiculous don't waste your time at this location not worth it read more

Ordered online 30min before I got to the store. They said they were waiting on one specific item to be done. I waited while others went in front of me for 45min. Finally got my food. I went home and noticed they messed my order up. Terrible service. Extremely ratchet on the inside of the store. Will never return based off the bad energy inside. read more

Just left KFC, wanted the four piece meal 2 wings/to legs extra crispy then waited ten minutes in the drive thru to be told, no extra crispy chicken was ready, but they had original. So we said okay to the original only to be told they only had white meat. Come on, really, you're a chicken place. It's what you do. Or don't do. Your new slogan should be "we do chicken wrong." I'm so done with this place. read more

Terrible service,Rude cashier, this kfc has disappointed once again! Cashier at window was being a "smart mouth" !!

I had second thoughts about ordering food from here on doordash. The first time we did, spent almost 100 dollars and the bucket of chicken strips we got had 4 pieces. We ordered the 16. The sides were wrong and we didn't get biscuits. Tonight I gave them another chance and yet again they didn't get it right. Supposed to have gotten large fries, large mashed potatoes and gravy and large Mac and cheese. Instead we got 2 small corn and a small green bean. Please do better. People spend too much money after a long day to have it ruined by incompetence. Consistent incompetence. read more

This is probably one of the worst KCF's in Maryland. It's like u have to be standing there right beside them to actually get fresh Chicken. Then on numerous occasions I have reviewed biscuits can be used as bricks. Unfortunately it's the closest one to my house. The customer service isn't bad that's where my 2 stars came from. I never have any complaints about to staffs customer service but the food service could definitely use some HELL. read more

It has been years since the last time I ate KFC. Pros: great value, food was hot, quick service Cons: messed up order (forgot part of the order, had to drive back), potatoes were old and brown, (one was fresh the other brown, dry & old), guilt ;) Guess it will be a few more years until I return.....the crispy tenders were actually good and gravy still had its signature flavor. But I need healthier eats, this could be a treat now and then.....maybe read more

I love original KFC chicken and as a long term resident of Bowie, I'm disappointed more times than not when obtaining carry out from this store. I believe this store cooks too much chicken in advance and is forced to sell old soggy greasy chicken. They are obviously keeping too much chicken in their warming bins. Never had this experience at the Marlow Heights store when visiting my dad. There is nothing better than crispy hot KFC chicken. Frankly, I believe the store on Greenbelt Road would increase their sales if they managed their food production better and was able to sell relatively fresh cooked chicken. During my most recent visit, I asked in advanced if they had fresh hot chicken available and still received warm, soggy, greasy chicken. I shouldn't have to begin boycotting my local store when I want good chicken! Management... please step up uour game and make a commitment to improve your Yelp ratings with customer satisfaction!!!!!! I'm certain Corporate management has this expectation! read more

Worst KFC ever visited. Solange our cashier was very rude, she should not be working with customer with the attitude she's showing, she did not answer our questions with yes or no just with a sigh and an eye roll most of the time. Does not deserve even one star. Employees are clueless, untrained and slow as hell. I ordered three tenders, potato wedges and a biscuit. What was given to me was a plastic container with three tenders covered in yellow glop, with PICKLES on top. I brought it back immediately and said I wanted three plain tenders. The MOD started saying that he wasn't going to change anything nor give me a refund. I left it on the counter and basically told him that they could have their f'in stuff back. Last time I'll pay almost $6 for a small order of potato wedges. To the MOD: if you don't care enough about your customers, or how well your staff is trained, QUIT. Give someone who might have a couple of Fs to spare the opportunity to do the job you are incapable of doing. read more

An unprecedented review consisting of not 1, not 2, not 3, but 4 letters. Dear My Grill, I know you are angry! With the recent KGC campaign, people continue to profane the grill name. Somehow, people associate grilling w/ being healthy and that simply using a sharpie or some other implement to draw no less than 3 "grill marks" makes it a grilled item. Take the KGC's for example. They are the dinkiest pieces of chicken ever, and look and taste baked, save for the 3 grill indents. They didn't even get the marks right. Don't worry. I'll go on Yelp and give your name the honor it deserves. xoxo, Su ------ Dear Colonel Sander's Family, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!?!?! Do you NOT hear that horrid sound? That's the sound of the Good Colonel turning in his grave repeatedly! Now I know it seems food chains are having crises these days, what with Pizza Hut serving pasta and McDonald's serving salads. But that doesn't excuse you for dishonoring the Good Colonel this way! I mean, would Dave Thomas be ok w/ Wendy's serving non-square beef patties? I don't think so! Leave those rotund entrepreneurs to rest in peace. Furthermore, where's The Colonel's secret flavor recipe of 11 herbs and spices? I counted no more than 5 herbs and spices in this lame addition to the KFC lineup. For shame! No xoxo, but a firmly wagging finger, Su ------- Dear Oprah, I don't watch your show. And with your endorsement of this dry, dinky, flavorless chicken, I don't think I will start either. Still, your advertising prowess is unmatched. You had people lining up by the hundreds at a mostly forgotten fast food franchise, with everyone in line saying, "It must be good! Oprah said it was!!!" I bow down to you. xoxo, Su P.S. I didn't watch the show where you endorsed the chicken, but I was wondering if you shouted, "EVERYONE GETS GRILLED CHICKEN!!!" P.P.S. May I have tickets to that show where you give away stuff by telling people to look under their seats? Pretty please? ------ Dear KFC Lanham, I've been patronizing this location since I was a wee fatty. But my recent visits have been particularly stinky. First, your main parking area is rather tiny and right next to your dumpsters. Combined w/ a Westerly wind, this makes for some singed nose hairs. Second, your employees are friendly and efficient, but please ask them to complete BOTH steps of taking out the trash: Step 1) Remove trash bag from trash receptacle. Step 2) Take trash bag out to dumpsters right next to customer cars. Merely completing Step 1 and leaving the trash bags out in the lobby is neither appetizing nor appropriate. A side hug, but no kiss, Su ------ Yeah, I drank the Oprah-aid and got me some free KGC. If it wasn't free, I'd have been seriously angry. Apparently, the chicken is touted as being low-calorie - that's b/c they are the smallest pieces ever. Thankfully, they still serve fried chicken, so I paid for a few pieces, drank the mayonnaise sauce from the cole slaw and my anger subsided...a little. read more

Employees are rude and they always get the orders wrong! My son used to work on this KFC when he went to college and it wasn't like this. WORST KFC ON EARTH! They will for sure screw your order up so be sure to check it before leaving. Your welcome.

Fast food is really not good for you. I haven't been to KFC in decades and was too lazy today to make my own meal. So given the choices of bad fast food hamburgers or KFC chicken, I thought I would come back. I think they had two parking spaces in the lot. Ridiculous. Service was fast. Chicken still tastes the same. Yup, better than a fast food burger. Stick with the original recipe since the extra crispy is all batter. read more

The employees at the location are terrible, service sucks because they spend more time talking to each other than taking orders. I had to drive to the front to complete my order. There's an older lady that works in there that is completely rude! I pulled up to the drive thru with no one behind me and she rushed me through my order. After that she closes the window and says "she didn't tell me she had a coupon." The entire time she appears annoyed as if I did something that pissed her off. BUGS were in my son's food. This happen on 6/1/2018. The bugs look like the seasoning that is used on the food. Once we arrived home and he started eating after a bit he yelled out a bug. Upon looking I saw more than one. They were black and would not have been detected had he not been seating under the dining room light. I went back to let them know and Gloria who was on duty could care less even asked another employee as I was talking to her to drop one more thing of chicken. I WILL BE REPORTING THEM TO THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT on Monday 6/4/2018 and anyone else that will make sure this is addressed. This franchise is a health risk. I decided to write this review until I can report them on Monday I noticed that they have a 2.1 rating this place should be closed. Since they don't care about what's in the food I felt it was a must not to wait too share this with unexpected customers. I'm sorry for not doing this Friday night. read more
