I know how regulars be knowing the menu like the back of their hands, but it's been so long and I had to pause and actually study the menu. The woman at the window was very patient as I observed the menu and ask questions about drinks and sides. I ended up getting a tenders meal with a biscuit and mac and cheese and I was so satisfied. I loved the chicken with honey barbecue and honey mustard, the biscuit was everything I needed, and the mac and cheese was just aight. I've had some amazing mac though, I wouldn't expect a chain like this to live up to it. This is not something I would do regularly, but it was a nice spontaneous late night splurge. During my recent visit, the store was not busy; however, I was one of only a couple of customers who had to wait a long time. I observed one employee walk around, ignoring customers as she made phone calls. She finally took my order but didn't seem happy about it. Another employee had to ask whether I had been helped; a third employee finally delivered my order. In the future, I will choose to shop at the Greenbelt store, even though it is farther from my home, because the service there is much quicker and the employees are more courteous. The staff at the Lanham location could benefit from additional customer service training. read more

I can't believe all the bad reviews. I just finished eating mine and let me say It was all fresh, piping hot, and tasty. I ordered the 6 pc extra crispy meal with Mac n Chz & coleslaw. I also received 10 saucy honey bbq nuggets for free since it was a digital order. I arrived 5 mins early for my quick pick up. The staff was very attentive & I received my order in maybe 2 minutes. Everything was correct that's all I can ask for with a pickup. I will definitely be back when I am craving some KFC. The biscuit I just ate is giving Popeyes a run for their money! It definitely was fluffy like a pillsbury biscuit. KFC will forever have the best coleslaw. If they switch their Mac n Chz to a baked one, the whole meal will be 10/10. Well went here for the first time in forever. The white chicken was very good. We each got the three piece meal. The sides fries, mashed potatoes and cole slaw were ok. The amount of fries was pretty small but they were crispy. The one thing that I'm am extremely disappointed about is the biscuit. It was not a biscuit. It was a little store bought soft roll that was stale. Awful. KFC charges too much for the small size sides, especially the fries, and stale fake biscuits. I can see why KFC had no business and McDonalds, right next door, was booming. I gave two stars because of the chicken. I really can't recommend this place. I almost never say that. read more

Stopped my daughter here before she went skating. Should've let her just get pizza from the rink. What was I thinking. I went thru the drive-thru, pretty promptly. The young lady was pleasant who took my order. I ordered the chicken strips for her and because the aroma of chicken caught my nose..,I gave in and ordered a box of chicken too. My daughter asked for an extra chicken leg for her friend, so I got it. After pulling away, we opened my box first and noticed the containers of my side items were sitting ON TOP of my chicken!! I can't stand that!! Why would I want something that's been on the counter, on top of my food?! I had second thoughts about ordering food from here on doordash. The first time we did, spent almost 100 dollars and the bucket of chicken strips we got had 4 pieces. We ordered the 16. The sides were wrong and we didn't get biscuits. Tonight I gave them another chance and yet again they didn't get it right. Supposed to have gotten large fries, large mashed potatoes and gravy and large Mac and cheese. Instead we got 2 small corn and a small green bean. Please do better. This is probably one of the worst KCF's in Maryland. It's like u have to be standing there right beside them to actually get fresh Chicken. Then on numerous occasions I have reviewed biscuits can be used as bricks. Unfortunately it's the closest one to my house. The customer service isn't bad that's where my 2 stars came from. I love original KFC chicken and as a long term resident of Bowie, I'm disappointed more times than not when obtaining carry out from this store. I believe this store cooks too much chicken in advance and is forced to sell old soggy greasy chicken. They are obviously keeping too much chicken in their warming bins. Never had this experience at the Marlow Heights store when visiting my dad. There is nothing better than crispy hot KFC chicken. Frankly, I believe the store on Greenbelt Road would increase their sales if they managed their food production better and was able to sell relatively fresh cooked chicken. During my most recent visit, I asked in advanced if they had fresh hot chicken available and still received warm, soggy, greasy chicken. Does not deserve even one star. Employees are clueless, untrained and slow as hell. I ordered three tenders, potato wedges and a biscuit. What was given to me was a plastic container with three tenders covered in yellow glop, with PICKLES on top. I brought it back immediately and said I wanted three plain tenders. The MOD started saying that he wasn't going to change anything nor give me a refund. I left it on the counter and basically told him that they could have their f'in stuff back. There's an older lady that works in there that is completely rude! I pulled up to the drive thru with no one behind me and she rushed me through my order. I tried to explain to her that I had a coupon and she completely ignored me. Once I got around to the window, she takes my coupon and instantly appears annoyed. BUGS were in my son's food. This happen on 6/1/2018. The bugs look like the seasoning that is used on the food. Once we arrived home and he started eating after a bit he yelled out a bug. Upon looking I saw more than one. They were black and would not have been detected had he not been seating under the dining room light. I went back to let them know and Gloria who was on duty could care less even asked another employee as I was talking to her to drop one more thing of chicken. I WILL BE REPORTING THEM TO THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT on Monday 6/4/2018 and anyone else that will make sure this is addressed. This franchise is a health risk.
