It tasted like KFC, it was greasy like KFC, the mashed potatoes were a bit artificial tasting like KFC. KFC used to be an enjoyable food indulgence for me with their extra crispy chicken, tenders, potato wedges & cole slaw. Not anymore! They discontinued extra crispy!!! I'm sorry but the original recipe isn't an option for me. Too soggy, extremely salty & just not enjoyable at all. I ended up tossing the whole order. ($45) Even the cole slaw tasted watered down. KFC's cost cutting reasons for these changes just helped me cost cut KFC from my pocket book. Sadly they don't care about customer satisfaction. read more

I went to leave a review on their website, but it won't let me unless I leave my name, phone number, email, AND home address. I didn't want to leave all that info, so my review will go here. This is for the terrible service I received while going through the drive-thru. When I placed my order, the cashier asked if I'd like to round up the difference to charity. I said sure! So my total was $12 even. When I got to the window, I handed the exact amount, and the lady at the window said, "You only have me $12. That's not enough. Your total is $13.08." I questioned her, and she said, "No, your total is $13.08." I was confused but paid anyway. When she handed me the receipt, I decided to look it over. Just then, she started to hand me my drink. She forcefully stated twice, "YOUR DRINK!" To which I stated I was reviewing the receipt. It was at this point when she mentioned the girl had entered my order wrong, and the new total was because of that. Had she said this in the first place, it would've been no big deal. So I work in Kingman, Az and I am finding that local take out places are refusing to take care of orders! I walked in and asked for 13 chicken sandwich nothing else! I knew the order would take time so I was willing to wait. At 1st they refused stating they needed a pre-warning on this type of order. So if I understand this to be correct, if a traveling bus of 10 to 15 basketball player stop in for complete meals, they would be turned down? About 20 minutes in to this the staff agreed to make the order but that it would take 10 to 15 minutes to complete. Worst KFC that I have had in 50 years. They get one star for putting 3 napkins in the bag. We are staying in a hotel nearby and decided to have KFC because it is always the same wherever you go. Here? Nope. We paid $30 for a bucket of cold chicken, cold potatoes, hard biscuits and cole slaw. We literally drove across the street to the hotel, so the chicken had to have been served to us this way. It tasted like chicken that was bought yesterday and left in the car overnight. (Review is from earlier in the year before covid-19 was everywhere) I stopped by here because I was craving fried chicken and I didn't want to stop off at Popeyes. I probably should have gone to Popeyes instead because I didn't have a pleasant experience here. I ordered a famous bowl and three tenders. I paid for a famous bowl and three tenders. What I got instead was a big bowl of mac and cheese and 2 boxes of chicken tenders with a biscuit and mashed potatoes. Uh, okay? Since I was already home, I ate the mac and cheese and it was terrible. How do you make terrible mac and cheese? The chicken tenders were okay, but I realized the person who took my order never asked what sauce I wanted, and had placed 'no sauce' on my receipt. I definitely wanted sauce! At least my wrong order had more food than what I paid, but it wasn't worth it. No reason to come back again. There are other food places to go to in Kingman that are so much better. read more

I've been coming to this location for over 25 years, and each year it has gotten incrementally worse. In the past before the whole covid thing, I would swear they took all the leftover chicken from the lunch buffet, and reused it for the dinner rush. What once started out many years ago as the best damn takeout chicken on the planet, has devolved into quite possibly the worst example of fried chicken anywhere. Trying to save money, cutting corners, switching fryer oils, reducing salt, and changing the prep and cooking methods and procedures has left the offerings of KFC a very faint wisp of a ghost from what the good Colonel originally had going. As the quality went down, so did the frequency of my visits, and everytime I did visit in the hopes that the previous one was just a bad day, my hopes would be smashed, and my suspicions of lousy chicken would again be reaffirmed, with me swearing off the place on my takeout choices in the future. But time would go by, and once in a while I'd try again, possibly just forgetting how awful KFC has gotten. I made the mistake again a few weeks ago, and sure enough it's now worse than it's ever been, and I'm here to tell you, that I will never visit this establishment ever again.....ever! On this, the very last visit of my lifetime, I ordered a 16 piece bucket of chicken. Many years ago when I was a kid, I had your basic rubber chicken poking its head out of a KFC bucket as a gag on my bedroom shelf. There's no way in hell that same rubber chicken would even fit into the current sized bucket, even if you chopped it into little pieces! I'm guessing KFC is now processing chickens that are barely a day old, because I've seen bigger legs and thighs on pigeons in the park! For the $30 I spent, I could have gone to the grocery and picked up 3 ribeye steaks, or quite possibly somewhere between 3-5 whole chickens. Screw these guys now and forever! I have worked for KFC twice in my life and love their food totally. This place was the worst!!! Chicken was old and not very warm. Coleslaw was dry and soft. Old! Potatoes barely had any gravy. Chicken and what little gravy there was tasted like they doubled the seasoning packs and was way peppery. Ordered root beer got dr pepper. My husbands popcorn chicken looked like little batter pieces w no chicken. Then we had to return for condiments that we asked for twice. Worst ever!!! read more

Frankly, I am a senior now and try to not eat KFC often because of the sodium and fat. But when I do want fried chicken, this KFC has proven to be very good at their job. As I worked within walking distance for nearly a year, I can say it's one of the best outlets I have visited. It's clean, friendly and professional. So as far as what it is, it's very good. Extremely slow service. We waited 25 minutes for our food at 3pm. Not even a meal "rush". The crew were confused and disorganized, bickering with each other about mistakes they were making. They offered us some free items to compensate for the unreasonable wait, but we don't want free stuff. The food has gotten worse and worse over the years. Recently I was there for the wings. They were so small and dry. They were so full of grease that I put them in my car seat and it leaked oil all over my car seat. When I got it home and carried them in the house. And, the oil dripped all over my floor. I went to this kfc today trying to give it another chance and every time I go it's a disappointment. The employees here and so rude and disrespectful I had a drink thrown in my car by an employee and then they slammed the window on me and refused to open it and give me napkins then when the manager opened the window she apologized for the employee and gave me my food , not to mention my food was cold and undercooked . After that visit I came back and I told the manager that my food was nasty and had my receipt and food and she told me that they couldn't do anything and had a very bad attitude so I left and hadn't returned for around four months . Then today I try and give them a chance and I get home and my food is made incorrectly on top of it my food is cold and old I just don't understand what is wrong with this KFC . they never get anything right their food is disgusting and their employees have disgusting attitudes . This place doesn't know what a famous bowl is. Went there last week and all I got was 3 pieces of chicken( not even exaggerating) a little bit of gravy, some corn, and a little dash of cheese. When I got home I was devastated seeing how bland it was. On top of all that I asked if they had "sweet tea"and they said "no" so I was like "okay well do you guys have Dr.Pepper?"
