This has to be the worst KFC in the nation. Have given them multiple attempts to improve, yet they still fail horribly. Most recent attempt to purchase an 8 piece bucket meal. Waited over 45 minutes and never got the food. Finally just left with no refund between purchased through the app. This store should be shut down. No way corporate KFC knows how bad this place is or they would close it just to save face. There is no chance that the current owner can fix it, it's been horrible for years. Still the worst KFC/Taco Bell on the planet. It is however in a dead heat with the terrible Taco Bell on College drive in Baton Rouge Louisiana. We were there on Saturday at 3. It took forever to place our order and get our food. We were the only ones in the drive thru. When we got home with our food it was terrible. Pay attention to your order on the screen as you order it because if they screw it up they won't fix it. I checked my order at the drive-through just to make sure nothing got forgotten because people make mistakes which is fine and sure enough something was wrong. I tried to return the incorrect items to get the correct items(which were cheaper) and was told that they can't do that. They said that's how it was wrung up and paid for. Horrible service. My order is never right. Before you criticize me about going back my wife likes the KFC BOWL. Today they did not have something on the menu but was on the menu. So I order something different for my wife. The computer mysteriously goes down. Told to go inside to order because it would take 15-20 minutes to reboot. So I go in to order. Walk in and no one social distancing. Restaurant is packed. One employee wearing a mask but had it pulled down. Employees chatting it up with customers while not social distancing. I hate to act like a Karen but this day in age I expect Restaurants to follow CDC federal and state guidelines in a pandemic. I've been craving Taco Bell for awhile now we decided to drive thru Highland Taco Bell tonight 5-20-2020 first of all the customer service was awful from the beginning the service was very very slow. Then I pull around to see that absolutely nobody is wearing gloves and the only person wearing a mask is at the window...already aggravated I obviously was looking inside to see what's up and it was an absolute disgusting mess in the kitchen, workers standing around scratching their faces and staring at eachother nobody working. The guy making the food in the back was wearing a giant coat no gloves and scratching IN HIS PANTS and then the girl working the window after touching money and god knows what else turned around and TOUCHED AND SMASHED MY WHOLE QUESADILLA WITH HER BARE HANDS. Needless to say I got a refund and gave her the food back and then literally nobody apologized. I know we are in hard times but you picked the job you have so at least be sanitary for the sake of the customers !!! This is the WORST KFC/TB i scratch that!!!!!! the WORST fast food restaurant I have ever eaten in my life... the orders are ALWAYS wrong. With what I just spent on this garbage my original chicken that I ordered was not original, but actually crunchy and not cooked all the way through it was still bloody!!! my chicken quesadilla was more more like a cheese quesadilla. The regular taco's I ordered tasted old, and on top of all that they put the soft taco's in the bag upside down and when I took them out of the bag the meat, cheese, and lettuce was at the bottom of the bag!! I have NEVER posted a bad review ever but decided I just had to this time. I order the 4 piece meal with an additional thigh through their web site. The order was to be ready by 5:30. I showed up at 5:30 and went inside and stood there for over 10 minutes before any of their employees would even acknowledge I was there. The four piece meal was to consist of 1 leg, 1 thigh, 1 breast, and 1 wing and then the addition thigh that was ordered. What I got was 2 breast, 2 very small wings, and 1 leg (all of which were overcooked and the crust was horrible). I tried calling them 7 times and all I kept getting was a voice mail message saying that their mailbox was full and that I couldn't even leave a voice mail message. This place doesn't ever deserve a star rating! I was absolutely disgusted with my food and service from KFC. I had to go back 3 times and have them redo my order because they couldn't get it right. The first time they forgot my sides, the second time was for the cold and old chicken I got and the wrong sides again. I had called multiple times and no one would answer the phone. Then manager on duty wouldn't talk to me so they sent out another employee. I had to ask the people in the drive through to get the manager for me because they wouldn't answer the phone or me knocking on the door. The two photos I posted below is the old and cold chicken that the manager told me was made that morning...it was 3pm and the second photo is the macaroni and cheese that I didn't ask for and was given instead of mashed potatoes and gravy. I would love to speak to the owner of the store but they won't contact me back and it's been almost a month now! We went to the drive through at the Highland, Illinois KFC to buy a 20 piece family meal one hour before closing. The manager who was working at 7pm on Sunday, June 28th refused to allow enough chicken to be cooked for us. She said that, because they closed in one hour, it would just be a waste of chicken and we were offered the 3 pieces left in the bin to feed a family of 8. Corporate has been called. I would not recommend eating here as they have no regard for their customers and are not interested in serving the public. So disappointing as out of town visitors and local customers. read more

I went to this location tonight around 8:45 p.m. The drive-thru was very busy but I waited anyway. I ordered a three piece tender meal with potato wedges and asked for both to be extra crispy. When I got to the window we didn't wait at all for our food, typically a good sign, right? Well not when you're wanting your food crispy it isn't. I figured it was due to the long line of cars and the wait. When I got home and opened up my tender box I was furious. My tenders were limp, soggy, lukewarm, and everything but crispy. What about the wedges you ask? HA! The exact same. I got back in my car and drove back up there and was given "new food" nope, same exact quality. I just went home and ate something else. The kid that was also fixing my meal had a very condescending tone about my "soggy tenders" and how "these shouldn't be soggy".
