    The drive-thru is great! Awesome staff, friendly and professional. The food is good too. I LOVE their biscuits and gravy!

    A Shameful Representation of the Jimmy John's Brand - Highland, IL Location…read more If you care about freaky fast, freaky fresh, or even basic respect, do yourself a favor and avoid the Jimmy John's in Highland, IL--a location that tragically fails to live up to the standards the corporate brand so proudly touts. Tonight's Experience (And Sadly, Not Our First Issue) On August 1st, I placed an order that arrived both incomplete and incorrect. When I called the store at 6:42 PM, I was told the missing items would be sent out--a reasonable solution. Except here we are at 8:15 PM, and not only has nothing arrived, but the treatment I received from the store manager Kayla was inexcusable. After waiting well over an hour, I called again. Kayla told me the missing food wouldn't be delivered until the driver had another delivery in our area. I explained that this was unacceptable, and she coldly told me, "You can come get it yourself"--then hung up on me. I called back, thinking perhaps the call had dropped. She corrected me: "No, I hung up on you." Then she did it again. Let that sink in: The store manager at a national food chain hung up on a paying customer--twice--a customer who simply wanted the food they had already paid for. This Isn't an Isolated Incident Unfortunately, this isn't our first problem with this location. Mistakes, slow service, and a pattern of rudeness have been part of our experience here. But tonight's behavior crossed a line from incompetence into outright disrespect. Why This Should Matter to Corporate & Franchise Leadership Jimmy John's has built its brand on speed, accuracy, and a great customer experience. According to corporate messaging, "Jimmy John's is about delivering quality with a can-do attitude." This location is actively eroding trust in that brand, one botched delivery at a time. And For What It's Worth--I Know This Business I'm not just an angry customer. I started my own career in franchise leadership, having served as a Regional Director of Operations. I've personally supported the launch and success of a new Jimmy John's franchisee in the Edwardsville and Wood River, IL markets, so I'm fully aware of the tremendous investment--financial, emotional, and operational--that goes into opening and operating a store. That's why this situation is even more frustrating: Because I know firsthand how hard franchise owners work to build and protect their stores, their teams, and the Jimmy John's brand--and how much damage one unchecked store manager can do to all of it. I am so tired of coming to this establishment and them purposefully charging incorrectly menu items resulting in the consumer to pay more. Today was the third time this had happened. No other Burger King has messed up like this restaurant and something needs to be done before I start contacting the BBB and the news outlets as it seems you may be profiting at the expense of customers by not entering items in correctly. Today, I ordered the 2 for $5.00 duo thing with two chicken sandwiches. I ordered a medium onion ring and an 8-piece mozzarella stick side. The menu on the drive thru screen was correct. I pulled up to the window and decided I would take a coke to drink since it was hot outside. I asked to add a coke. She takes my card, ran it for Order #23 at 1100am this morning. She hands me my drink and states "she needs my card back to run the second sandwich if I still wanted it." I asked what she meant? She said she swapped my 2nd sandwich out for my coke. At no time did I ask her to do that. I asked to simply add a coke to the order. She told me I owed another $6.00 and some change for the second order which included my sandwich, which is order #25 at 11:02am. Crazy to think, I went from paying an extra $2.99 for a drink to over $6.00 for a mistake on the cashier. After paying for the second order, the bag of food was brought out all nice and folded and since I was driving to Edwardsville from Highland, I decided to leave the food wrapped up so it would stay warm. LOW AND BEHOLD-----I get to work, and completely missing my mozzarella sticks. Funny, she could ask me at the window for the second time if I wanted marinara or something else, but, didn't put the sauce or the sticks in the bag..... ***The first two times I went to this restaurant and ordered the 2 for $5.00 duo, between the time I ordered at the drive thru and got to the window, the duo was dropped off the order and it was replaced with the 2 sandwiches at full price. The first time you guys got me, the second time I went back and go my refund, and the orders corrected. Makes me truly wonder how many people you have taken advantage over this. **Didn't eat inside so not sure how well the inside is, but based on the previous reviews on here, the inside isn't much better than the service provided. Highly disappointed in this restaurant!!!
