Today, I came during lunchtime, not long after they opened, and almost every side was gone. I chose one option, and it was out. I picked another, and that was out too. It's incredibly frustrating to come in expecting a full menu and have so many items unavailable, especially during lunch. The only positive part of my visit was the cashier, who provided excellent customer service despite the situation. Unfortunately, great customer service can't make up for the constant lack of food. I won't be returning to this location.

I put in my order at the counter and before I even walked away to wait they already had everything ready for me. I know Chic Fil A is always fast, but I can't remember a time when I received my order this fast! The food was also warm and fresh as always and no different. The staff was friendly and returned the "my pleasure" when I thanked them( I always check to see if they'll say it). I'll make a note to always stop here when back in the area. Kudos Chic Fil A and to this location specifically!

I have been to this location several times and never really satisfied. When they first opened,…read moretheir service was not what you expect from Chick-fil-A. A bunch of teenagers goofing off and holding up the lines. Recently it seems to be better. But now my complaint is the quality of their food. I like the spicy Chick-fil-A sandwich, but every time I get it something is wrong. Either it's like not crispy just kind of a moist, wet breading on the chicken or it's really tiny piece of chicken on it. Today I got a Cobb salad with grilled chicken and it's not like any salad I've gotten at Chick-fil-A. Usually they have a nice spring mix in their salad. This is mostly iceberg and their chicken isn't freshly grilled like I've had it in other locations. No where near the quality I'm used to.

When it comes to local chicken spots, you can never go wrong. Let's find out if they fufilled my hunger needs. For Lane's, you can either order online or call-in, which was my preference. The orders were ready in 10-15 minutes. I picked up all orders via drive-thru where everything was ready to go. All of the orders were 4 piece chicken tender combos with one side (crinkle fries) and biscuit/roll with dipping sauce. Each meal was cooked just fine and filled me up. You can't beat that at all especially at a price below $10. Once again, Lane's Chicken came through at the right time. Most likely, they'll see me again when I come home for the Christmas holidays. But there's an art to it and Ed's Burger Joint got it right! It's definitely worth the somewhat higher prices to eat there. The burger tasted phenomenal and I am extremely picky when it comes to hamburger meat. The fries were very good, hot and perfectly crispy, as fries should be. You can eat inside or outside at this place and it has classic decor with great music. The food and atmosphere gives off that fun feeling of being at an amusement park. Ed's is one of those places that long after your visit you still keep thinking about how good the food was and how you can't wait to go back. It will definitely be my go-to hamburger place when I am in Hattiesburg. Note: I saw someone left a 3-star review about Ed's. Who the heck goes to a hamburger joint to get a turkey burger? All I can say is bless their hearts!
