They've got fries. I want a brownie? They've got brownies. I want peanut butter and jelly on my burger? Done. I know my 2 star rating is daunting but there is a legitimate reason for it. This morning, I…read moredecided to go out of my way to get breakfast from Topher's. It is over 3 miles from my home and out of the way. I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich and the person at the drive-thru asked if I wanted it on toast and I replied. "Yes," confirming I wanted the toaster sandwich. I have not had great experiences with their biscuits so my order was very intentional. When I made it to the window, my order was repeated and the receipt on the bag read the same. I drove 3.3 miles home with my tastebuds excited to enjoy one of my favorite breakfast items. Unfortunately, I had received a BEC BISCUIT! To say I was disappointed is an understatement. I toasted my own bread and transferred the eggs and bacon, which were absolutely delicious! Next time, I will make sure my order is correct before I drive 3.3 miles back home.

A Heath Blizzard is vanilla ice cream and crushed Heath Bars in it. Pretty simple huh? Mix it together. Like as easy as making a peanut butter sandwich, you have bread, peanut butter mix them together and whamo. Not this place, they have an employee who likes to add chocolate to a recipe of vanilla and heath bar. Last time it must have been someone else because it was correct. Time before that I got the chocolate infuser. It's like I am rolling the dice every time I order my favorite. So that's it I'm done ordering here.

Being hamburger lovers, my spouse and I had to give this place a try and it was a nice surprise…read more Most people think hamburgers are a simple, easy food to make. But there's an art to it and Ed's Burger Joint got it right! It's definitely worth the somewhat higher prices to eat there. The burger tasted phenomenal and I am extremely picky when it comes to hamburger meat. The fries were very good, hot and perfectly crispy, as fries should be. You can eat inside or outside at this place and it has classic decor with great music. The food and atmosphere gives off that fun feeling of being at an amusement park. Ed's is one of those places that long after your visit you still keep thinking about how good the food was and how you can't wait to go back. It will definitely be my go-to hamburger place when I am in Hattiesburg. Note: I saw someone left a 3-star review about Ed's. Who the heck goes to a hamburger joint to get a turkey burger? On a recent visit, my brother suggested we try this new fish and chicken place in Hattiesburg. Long…read morestory short: I will NOT be back. Read on for the details. The good: The lobby was clean and well lit. Free soft serve ice cream cones. The chicken is super crunchy so if you live for the crunch, they've got you covered. The chicken sandwich is huge! And the wings are also pretty big. Those chickens must work out in the gym! The bad: Customer service is a joke! Drink stations unstocked. Dirty kitchen and kitchen staff with sagging uniforms!! Chicken seasoning is bland Spicy chicken is just a dry seasoning shaken over regular chicken. When we first arrived, I walked into the building, the temperature was freezing! Between the air conditioner and the ceiling fans, it was cold enough to hang beef in there! Most customers were shivering. The cashier could barely take our order without looking back at her phone. When I informed her that the tea dispensers were empty, she told me they were out of tea without even bothering to go and check. Another customer overheard my conversation and told me that she had just said the same thing and someone took her cup to the back and brought it back full of tea. Additionally, the fountain drink dispensers were low on flavors so the drinks were almost flavorless. At least the lemon aid was decent. While the chicken pieces are large, the flavor is not. The regular chicken is pretty bland and needs a bit more seasoning in the recipe. The "spicy" chicken wings and sandwich are just regular chicken with a super salty, slightly spicy seasoning shaken over it after it's put in the container. My order had so much just dumped on top that it pooled in the bottom of the sandwich container. Similarly, the wings had none of the seasoning on the bottom side. While we were waiting for our food, I noticed another lady who was quite dissatisfied with her order and was nice enough to show us what she ordered. Let's just say, I'm glad I didn't order the fish! Outside of the recipe, the main issues I experienced can be resolved by management. Hope they get it together.
