The wings usually are cooked just right, honestly the only reason I didn't give them 4 stars is the fact that the fries are usually soggy. Even if I say I want everything cooked well done or extra crispy, my fries are usually not as good as my wings and sometimes I'll end having to make fries at home. If these are the best wings in town then the competition must be slim. I just moved here a few days ago and I wanted something delivered. I went for winged it because it was cheap. The delivery was fast but the wings are not the best in my opinion. I had lemon pepper and teriyaki. Both of those flavors were missing something. For the lemon pepper a lack of sauce for the teriyaki not enough sweetness too much soy sauce. The fries mushrooms were ok and i don't understand why they gave me a whole take out box full of celery and only two small packets of kraft ranch dressing. I was hoping the ranch was homemade. Have lived here for a couple years. We use the post office across the street from winged it regularly and finally decided to give them a try. We used the menu we found online(same menu available through Yelp as a matter of fact). The price listed is $47.85 for 48 wings. My wife placed the order over the phone and was told 20 minutes but they did not confirm the price. Fifteen minutes later they called to inform us they were ready. Already off to a good start. I went in to pay and was told $65. I was confused because that's nearly $18 more than the price listed online. I paid and went out to the parking lot to verify with the wife. She was equally confused. She went in to clear up the confusion and was told the online menu isn't their's.... Their restaurant name, logo, menu items, address, phone number but.... not their site. If they had owned the mistake and apologized they would've earned a customer. Won't be headed back to this establishment. I'll chalk up the $18 to a lesson learned. read more

Winged it is the place to go in Hattiesburg for wings. That being said, they are nowhere near the best wings I've ever had. But, they are cheap, you can get your fries tossed in a sauce, and the wings themselves are pretty good. Overall, you won't find a better wing place in Hattiesburg. read more

So the side of their building says "Best Wings In Town" and I can finally say, after trying the countless wings available in Hattiesburg, they really are. The Honey Cajun BBQ is my go-to flavor: the perfect trifecta of flavors. Second choice would have to be Ghost, which is hot without being so overpowering it's not enjoyable.
