I live in the area and have been working out of time for several months. I come back monthly and…read morehave been making sure to visit before I leave. Today was the final visit for me for a while. For the last 3 months in a row it has been a dumpster fire. It is under new ownership and clearly struggling to keep staff. How do I know? Because the last 3 visits we got a cashier in training with managers having to step in several times throughout the order taking every visit. Today the manager, I'm assuming from her collared shirt, stepped in to assist with our order that took 10 minutes to place. The order was called back correctly but wasn't rang up correctly. Entire entree missing. Fine. We don't want it anymore after waiting over 20 minutes for our food that we had to go seek out ourselves. Only to realize our food being prepared one plate at a time between customers than ordered behind is because "the system went down and we don't have your ticket". We are couldn't even offer a ticket since we were not provided a receipt. I don't appreciate that our food was just left open with waiting customers literally standing over our food. Needless to say a $40 order was trashed and we left after someone's hair was on my hash brown. Even with new management the atmosphere is just off. Nobody knows what's going on and the managers seemed to be the most lost.

Everytime my wife and I have gone we've had delicious food and great service. My favorite is the burger. The first time I had it I was amazed at the smokey flavor it had. At the time I had no idea they were smoking their beef patties at the time. My wife had the Mississippi Philly Cheesesteak which was also as amazing. Servers were attentive, very friendly and fun to talk to. Desserts were delicious and fresh as well. My only couple complaints were the restaurant was kept ridiculously cold. Even the servers said it was too cold in there for them as they shuffled around wearing hoodies. The other issue I had was it seemed like place couldn't decide if it was a casual family restaurant, or fine dining. The decor and the way the staff interacts with the tables suggest casual family restaurant. But the pricing leans more towards fine dining. This is not at all any reason why you should not eat here. And based on what i've seen recently, most patrons don't see this place the same way I do as they are consistently packed which is great! We're planning on another visit soon. I've been hankering for that burger again. Highly recommend, but bring a small coat just in case the temp is set to sub-zero again.
