Food was basically good. I went to the website, it said if you downloaded the app you would get 50% off your first order. So I downloaded the app, ordered $30 worth of chicken. Checked out on the app believing the discount has been applied and I didn't get a discount. I went to the KFC website the next day I think, sent them a message complaining that I did not get a discount, and I received no response even though they said you would get a response within 48 hours. I haven't had KFC in a number of years. But I got the craving for some original recipe because I had worked there in the 1980's as a HS job, as a cook/dishwasher. We waited 30 minutes to get food when there was no one else in line. They told us to pull around front and after we did another car pulled around about 10 minutes after we did. Not only did they get their food before we did but they were there for a total of 6 minutes after parking. Then what I assume ti be the manager came out and told us they were running low on fries we asked what other sides they had and his response was "honesty I don't know what we have for sides I'm pretty zoned out right now" the service was terrible and unprofessional. read more

We called KFC in Granbury Texas at 916. We were ordering 2 sides and the 8pc fried chicken bucket. He said that it was an online special. So we got online and tried to order online and it said that the store in granbury was closed. We called back and told the same guy blamed it being the online company and there was nothing he could do. Asked to speak to the manager he said he was. He said that I could order from him but the 10$ bucket would be 20. Said we should have done the online before 930 pm and I pointed out that it was not even 930 as we were talking. So I said he's the manager and I obviously attempted to order online, nothing I can do about it. He said he could give us the order of chicken, but would be $19.96. I used to order the Spicy chicken sandwich every time, and 4 times out of 5 they're was always something majorly wrong with it. Sometimes it was cold, sometimes the chicken had been sitting so long it was too tough to eat. Sometimes the chicken patty is small and thin with hardly any meat, sometimes they put mayonnaise on it instead of spicy sauce, but the point is, they just can make the place work if this happens every time. I read the reviews here and it makes me sad at the bad reviews. I can't help but wonder how many of them went back and thoroughly enjoyed their chicken, but failed to update their previous review. I live in Godley, a 22 minute drive to Granbury. I have driven there numerous times to get their chicken, because theirs is THAT much better than most of the other KFCs within a 30 minute drive for me. I went to the drive thru window and ordered the 2 for $6 deal. She was so helpful and you could hear her smiling through the speaker, when she spoke to you. She was so nice to me! Thank her for me! She gave me her name but I forgot it. I looked it up on the receipt and her name was Kimberly. Tell her I said thank you for helping me, decide on my order and having a smile on that day. VERY friendly staff, they make you feel at home. The atmosphere there is very laid back and I love it. The food is good as long as you know what you're ordering and such. I recommend this place for people that wanna eat at a nice restaurant but don't wanna see people they know (lots of people from out of town eat there mostly) Kfc has a bed rep due to the old management but thankfully they fired all of the crackheads and hired sweet and steady minded people. MANAGER THROWS DRINK AT MY CAR! I visited KFC drive through in Granbury TX today for the 2nd time. The first time I went my order was wrong. I did not find out until I was home so I did not complain.I thought I would give them a 2nd chance. As I pulled out of the drive through, I checked my order and it was wrong AGAIN. I pulled back through and told them my order was wrong. Once I got to the window I complained that this was the 2nd time out of 2 times that my order was wrong and that could. It understand why they cannot get an order right. KIMBERLY went off on me and said that what I said to her was very rude? I did nit raise my voice or use profanity. I told her I didn't understand how complaining about my order being wrong was rude. I had ordered an unsweet tea and they gave me a coke. Once I received my tea and fries I started to drive off and Kimberly threw the coke at my car through the drive through window. I then went in and ask for the manager. SURPRISE, Kimberly was the manager. I told her just because I complained does not mean she should throw a drink at my car. She said she was just pouring out the drink and did not mean to hit my car and told me I was BANNED from her store and if I showed up again she would call the POLICE. This women needs help and fast. We have been here twice over the last 6 months. My husband didnt want to go back, but I insisted we give them a second chance. Well, we shouldn't have. Both times we have been in there it was very dirty. Floor was unswepted, and sticky. The soda fountain was sticky and had ants all underneath it.
