Went to this restaurant tonight only to find out they were closed inside except for internet orders. I was surprised as they had 4 employees working. The reason I was given was they were waiting for another employee to show up. I have lived in the area for over three years and had never been to this KFC until tonight. I decided to stop in for a quick dinner, but unfortunately, I was highly disappointed with the service. The employee taking my order, Damien, seemed very rushed and kept trying to hurry me along. When I pulled up to the window, he acted as if I was bothering him and continued to rush me. When I asked for his name, he told me to look at the receipt. I explained that I hadn't been given one, and when I requested it, he rolled his eyes, grabbed it off the register, and handed it to me. This was by far the worst customer service experience I've ever had at a fast-food restaurant. Avoid Cotton and Yuma KFC if you value your health. These people do not care about food safety standards. It wasn't just once that I saw what I saw but multiple times. We ordered drive thru for Chicken meals, the lady on the speaker said that they only have breast and wings available, we said yes to that, then she sakd we have to wait 7 mins for mac and cheese and she told us to park in front to wait. Service it typically slow or rude. The ambiance is typically sticky inside. The current manager needs to be fired and replaced with someone who has experience and knows something about customer service. This all starts at the top and if he is training his employees about good customer service, then maybe the employees will move a little faster, have a sense of urgency and get the food to the customers as quickly as possible! When you go to the drive, there is no one in front of you, yet it takes about 15 mins to pick up your food. When you try to order in the lobby, they see you waiting, but they don't take your order until you have to say something. I've always liked KFC and there original chicken but seems as of late that it is a lot greasier so I ended up getting the chicken sandwich and I will say it is one of my favorite now , there pickles are nice and thick and the flavor and size of the chicken is good . It sometimes does take a long time to get through the drive thru line so you may want to just go inside and order real quick , I would also say get a side of coleslaw and put it on your sandwich it is amazing. read more

So we we're running off to an event and wanted a quick snack. We'll this week I was bombarded with the KFC ads for snack wraps. So I downloaded the the app to get the deal by the time I completed and hit place order we pulled up in parking lot. There were 2 cars in drive through and one other person in the dining room. I went straight to the counter hoping to catch someone before they started our order because the app would not allow me to click on the classic. I stood at the counter probably 5 minutes, I only noticed 2 people working ( maybe that was the issue) so we were not acknowledged. Finally someone walked around the corner and I told her about order and how it wouldn't let us choose, she said she would make. Here is the bad part, while standing at the counter waiting I pretty much lost my appetite. The prep area was filthy, floor had Food containers, trash etc everywhere, looked like a tornado went through it. I felt bad for the staff because they were obviously running ragged but I could see because of this the odds of cross contamination were high. Since this store opened, it has been plagued with problems. It is a beautiful new store. If you go on the Nextdoor app, you can see many. many posts about this location in Goodyear, AZ and other locations in the area that are not positive. Unfortunately, I would venture to say that this is the worst managed KFC I have ever been to in my life. The customer experiences and the level of disrespect the customers have had to endure in addition to the lack of order accuracy, quality of food, or even inventory of food is absolutely incredible. Even today, 29 Dec 2022, on the web site for KFC at this location they are hiring for these positions: "4 Job Openings At 16980 W. Yuma Road: KFC Assistant Restaurant Manager, KFC Shift Supervisor, KFC Team Member, and KFC General Manager." I would hope Yum! Brands could take over all the stores in the area and take them away from the current franchisee. Customers are not really going there anymore.
