Wow. I should've looked at the reviews before I stopped here, but generally when you go to a fast food place, you can kind of expect it to be to at least a certain level. First of all the bathroom was beyond gross that should've been a kick off right there and maybe if I went there before I ordered, I would have changed my mind. And the 11 herbs and spices must've got left out on the chicken because it was flavorless not really hot and dry hopefully somebody can look at these and make some constructive changes. read more

Stopped by for my daughter's mac and cheese fix. The place could have been a little bit cleaner and the drink station was pretty messed up and the place just opened HEY WHO CLOSED LAST NIGHT?!?lol Service was fast and great. Can't beat the $4.99 2 leg combo meal!! My food was hot and fresh. read more

Service is very long. Went to get some quick fast food and took them 25 mins to get my food and not even complete.

this was one of the worst KFC we have ever eaten at. First we ordered our food to eat there. They put it in a to go container and turn it so the coleslaw and biscuit were on the mashed potatoes and gravy the biscuit was soggy. Once we opened the box, there was very little gravy. Evidently it went on the other we asked for more gravy and charged an additional $2.25. The place was bathrooms were not Every garbage can was almost full and the people behind the counter either visiting or on their phone. I think this is the last time we're stopping at this KFC when we go to Sacramento read more

This KFC location was fantastic. The chicken was very crispy, juicy, and season to the max. The wait was only 5 minutes which was amazing since I was in a rush. The place was clean but could use some improvements. Overall a must go to. read more

Absolutely awful. Employee hiding in the corner on her phone, order was thrown in a bucket with zero care. Complained to corporate and received exactly zero response. There is a reason people go to Elk Grove or Lodi rather than visit our hometown location. read more

Probably one of the most disgusting Kentucky fried chicken I have ever been to. It smells like P when you walk in. The place looks like it hasn't been cleaned in years maybe with a leaf blower. With bugs on the counter, chairs and tables look like they havent been cleaned in years soda dispenser was horrible and smelled Had chicken strips that were still raw in two of them. Opened the coleslaw and smelled like rotten cabbage. Did not eat it after tasting. Normally I dont give comment but people need to know this is not a clean safe place read more

Disgusting chicken. Everything I ordered tasted like it was sitting around for hours. This should not be a representation of KFC. All workers seem careless about the quality or customer experience. read more

Despite the 1.5 star reviews I gave this place a chance. Very sad to see. There is a CLEAR lack of management here. This is a nice restaurant in a good location with almost no competition. Unfortunately I can see why customers dont come back. Hopefully management takes peoples reviews into consideration. The place looks like it has never had a deep cleaning, you can clearly see what areas they clean daily on the floors and equipment. Counters had crumbs and were a mess. The employees dont use gloves when touching the food and im assuming weren't properly trained in food handling. I didnt know if some of the people back there were employees or just hanging out, no uniforms or anything. Very depressing atmosphere in there. They had not even one customer dining inside on a Friday at 3pm.. im assuming most people use the drive-thru and dont see the inside. Hopefully they do something with this place because there isnt a lack of fried chicken customers but a lack of a good restaurant. This place should either get new management or just be put out of its misery. The person that waited on me was a woman and was very nice. read more

First, I always give stars based on that type of business's potential, meaning that a fast food restaurant that serves hot, fresh food can definitely deserve 5 stars if they simply deliver their consistent brand. This particular KFC was a complete disappointment! The first thing we noticed was a rancid smell when the boy handed us our bag of food. I ordered the big box chicken sandwich and my husband ordered the chicken tenders meal. The fries and chicken tenders were UN-EDIBLE. I'm not super picky and I hate to waste so I will eat mediocre food so I ate my chicken sandwich and cold Mac and cheese but Unfortunately neither one of us could eat any of the fries. I kept insisting that my husband take his tenders back because every piece he tried to eat, he had to spit out. They were over fried in rancid grease, same as the French fries. The one star is for the kid working on New Years Day with a good attitude. read more

What has happened to KFC quality chicken, I ordered a 4 piece leg and thigh and I received 4 wing size drum sticks barely any bigger than my thumb. Plus they didn't have biscuits at 7pm for the night. Worst kfc experience I've ever had. I'll have to go to a diff location from now on. read more

I would give no stars but not an option. Went through the drive they as that is all that is open right now. I was told that it would take 3 minutes for the tenders so to pull around and wait. It is now 20 minutes later and I am still waiting for the food. If you must come here, bring a snack. read more

Don't bother pre-ordering online, it's never been ready. I'm here right now for my 4:30 pickup, it is 4:45, they say another 10 minutes. If I hadn't already paid online I would leave. If you have a schedule to meet, stay away from this place. At least you can't call this fast food, right? It's 4:50 now and this rap music is going to drive me crazy. 4:55 now. No food. He says 5 more minutes. What a joke. 5:00 nothing. Turn this rap off!!!!! 5:03 finally food. Got to our destination to find that they got the order wrong. 8pc dark meat bucket of legs and thighs contained: 2 wings, 3 breasts, 2 legs and 1 thigh. At least they can count to 8, they just cant tell the parts apart. I know, its just chicken but it's so frustrating. Save yourself and just stay away from this place. read more

Came here on my lunch break and got the 2 piece meal. The crispy breaded chicken was fresh but had a lot of batter. The biscuit was delicious and the mash potatoes were standard. Overall, this place wasn't the best but it also wasn't the worse. Just your usual KFC to get fast fried chicken. P.S. It is joint with Long John Silvers. read more

I have enough with this KFC. Enough is enough, never will order food here again. Order food online for pickup and they never got my order. Gotta wait 20 minutes. When I got the food, half of the chicken's coating n skin came off. Those darn high kids messing around and instead of getting coleslaw, they filled the big bowl with gravy. I already got two small bowls of gravy and the gravy doesn't go in the big bowl. I always get frustrated with this store run by immature teenagers. Who knows what they are doing with our food. It's so slow n dead and hope this store goes out of business soon. read more

This place gets 1 star only because it won't let me give zero stars.. Stopped by on our way home while towing a large trailer. Walk up to the door with my husband and 3 kids and the doors are locked. No sign saying lobby is closed...The sign says they are open until 10 and it is 8 pm.. We knock on the door and see an employee walking by. He acts like he doesn't see us and ignores that we are there. So my husband flags him down and he yells through the glass "GO AROUND".. meaning go through the drive thru. We could not go through the drive thru because we were towing a large trailer!!!! The guy did not give us the time of day and we couldn't even tell him that we can't go around. read more

Might just be the worse place in Northern California. Went through the drive thru at 7:15. Asked about getting family meal. Was immediately informed that they were nearly out of chicken but could piece a meal together with white/dark crispy/ original. Asked how they could be out of chicken and she said "well we were busy today" now I had to pause for a second to ensure I heard her right so I asked her " this is Kentucky fried "chicken" right? And you are out of chicken she said no we have chicken just not what you want. Lol. At this point I decide to play this stupid game with her so I again ask about the family meal and she tells me, we have 2 breasts but they are original , 2 legs original. 1 thigh crispy and a wing that is original as well. I then ask if this was another 12 minute wait but she said no we don't have any more chicken after this. Lol I thought I was being pranked but apparently this KFC doesn't understand how to order product or doesn't know how to prep new chicken. This place needs to go away, might very well be worse KFC ever read more

Filthy bathrooms, filthy soda station, dirty tables. Messed up order. Good tastes the same as ever, tho.

What a joke! Ordered Georgia Gold chicken strips and they threw six PLAIN strips in a box with honey mustard dipping sauce and some shriveled pickles. WTH?? My coleslaw was like soup! The WORST. Biscuits were smashed gravy was old don't know how it had been sitting but there was gravy on the outside of the container all dried up. Chicken was burnt. Extremely dirty inside, which was no surprise judging by the greasy sidewalk entrance. Once inside we stood at the counter for at least 5 minutes and were never even acknowledged by the two employees that were working. I went to this restaurant on 3 consecutive days Thursday Friday and Saturday at 9pm. On all three occasions they had no dark meat chicken and 1 or2 sides. The chicken is cold and dry. I wonder if the owner even knows what's going on there or is he okay with the quality of the food. While waiting for my food inside the lobby you can hear irate customers on the drive thru speaker complaining about the lack of chicken and pulling off. A gentleman inside complained about how his sandwich looked crushed, while the employee remade the sandwich the man raised his voice to complain about how he originally came in for a pot pie in which they didn't have ready. The lobby was clean and the cashier was pleasant but I would never gamble with this location with my family again. read more

I looked back at reviews in 2010. They are the same now in 2020. I waited so long for a KFC to open here in Galt. We have very low options here it was a big deal! It's so sad that we seem to be the whipping boy for this KFC. How many years of complaining will it take for corporate to realize The Galt store is worth investing in. This corporation has created a community w PTSD based on bad food, unreliability & rude undertrained employees. Remember staff, if it weren't for the customers you bitch about, you would not have a job! You are supposed to be building skills to last your life. It might not seem important now but if you don't learn to do a good job now your future doesn't look bright. KFC Corporate after 10 + years of identical complaints maybe you could fix the problems!!??!! Galt, Raleys (rt next door) has fried chicken with fixings & sides. The manager who has responded to a select few customers sounds like a recorded text. We all know what go to PM means. They got chosen to receive a coupon for free food. What about the other patrons who spent their time & money never getting any restitution!??! Its really bad business when you could have a successful, local following. The citizens of Galt are choosing to drive So.99 to a brand new KFC in Lodi or No.99 to Elk Grove both 10 mil in either direction. Shorter amount of time than waiting. They do have larger pieces of chicken. I asked after several visits back & forth why? I was told by Elk Grove that Galt must be ordering that size! Thanks for treating us like any other community that you are in?! Sadly you are the Only KFC in Galt, I was so excited about you coming!! read more
