This KFC man! The last four times I visited, they did not have what I wanted. The three time previous they let me know and asked if I wanted a substitute. Instead, I waited for them to cook it. The last time, which is my last time, they didn't tell me, they just included substitutes in my order. That alone wasn't enough for me to stop going here. They now have a sign prominently displayed to inform everyone that they will not give refunds. Well, that seems like giving themselves permission to do whatever they feel like. A refund for an inferior product is foundational to any business that values good customer service. The notice that a refund is never an option lets me know that they don't care about customer satisfaction. Sadly, I will say goodbye to this KFC. Love that chicken at Popeyes! read more

I drove 15 miles on Saturday 3/15/25 to this location because I had been craving kfc for about a month in the 1 in my area( centreville va) closed down,the reason I drove that far is because the Manassas va location on sudley rd is dirty & disgusting from the outside to the inside,I came home opened the bucket & the chicken was cold & not fresh baked the skim wasn't even golden brown so of course because I haven't had kfc in awhile I warmed it up & ate it,biggest mistake I've made,not wanting to get to graphic but me & my wife suffered all weekend,we couldn't even go to my nephew baby shower b/c were both scared to leave our house thank God we have multiple bathrooms at home or we have been fighting each other for the toilet kfc I'm finished w/ u. read more

We stopped at the drive thru for dinner as we were in the area. We order a chicken pot pie and a two piece dark meat fried chicken combo meal with cole slaw. The chicken pot pie didn't have much chicken but was tasty. The fried chicken was a one star rating. both pieces of chicken were very small. The drum stick was dried out but tasted okay. The thigh was inedible. It actually tasted rancid. I spit it out and threw it away. Since we got takeout I was unable to return it. It was the worst tasting fried chicken I have ever had. I will not be returning to this location and will not be trying any other KFC places anytime soon. Two star rating is only because the pot pie was okay. read more

Needed dinner fast. Stopped in at KFC Ordered a six piece Family Meal - extra crunchy, plus large sides of mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, a regular side of cole slaw, and gravy. It also came with a side of 3 biscuits. I was curious about the boneless wings, so I ordered a small order of five. When the guy called my order out, he started to go through the order to check everything - and he stated a "5 piece" chicken dinner. I told him no, I had ordered six pieces. I didn't, and I am not even sure how one would do that as there were only four different Family Meals available - and NONE of them came with five pieces. So I showed him the receipt - SIX PIECES! He grudgingly acknowledged this and added a piece of chicken. The place was cluttered and dirty. There were napkins on the floors, the counters, on the floor of the kitchen area, as well as other stuff on the flloor. I went to the restroom while I was waiting for my order, it was visibly dirty and stank of mold and mildew. When I got home, I found that he had given me regular chicken, even though I had ordered extra crispy (my receipt indicated extra crispy as well). The food was not very good. " Has anyone see or heard from Gordon Ramsey lately "?. It really upset me after a hard day of working I get a graving for that Golding Brown taste of cooked chicken when I get home. Instead when I get home. I get Chicken that has been sitting in the bottom of the pan collecting old oil and a hard stale biscuit. KFC is stealing money out of my pocket in the amount of $20 to $30 dollars. I've have called and spoken to the manager and all I get is come back and we'll give you new. This is the most poorly run KFC I've ever seen, ever. A while ago I went and ordered a personal pan supreme... they had to make it. Took them 15 minutes to bring it out to me... and for some reason they gave me an extra one for having to wait. Like 1300 calories wasn't enough. So anyway, the Beau and I stopped to try the grilled chicken earlier tonight. We get there, our order is promptly taken by a nice kid (drive-thru). After paying, we pulled up behind the two cars in front of us in queue to pick up their food. WE WAITED FOR 15 MINUTES BECAUSE THEY RAN OUT OF CHICKEN. ARE YOU CLUCKING KIDDING ME?!?! Paid for a 16 piece and got home and realized it was only a 12 piece. They must have had only 11 pieces of crispy though because one of the 12 was original. Kind of weird. Also asked for condiments, the guy acknowledged and still failed to put any with my order. Went back to get what I paid for. The lobby doors were locked and drive thru was backed up. In my experience the service was fast and personnel were pleasant and friendly. HOWEVER, the quality of chicken pieces (grilled) was not good. The pieces were small, very small and half of the chicken was dry. The Col. would not approve. Recommendation for the restaurant: perform quality control checks of the chicken you are going to prepare for your customers. If you are seriously set on eating KFC and you go to this location, my advice is to just quickly go through the drive thru, keep your expectations low, and pull into a parking spot immediately to check the contents of your order in case you need to whip back around. The interior is frozen in a crappier time while all of the restaurants - yes, including fast food places - around it are constantly improving their dine in experience. The ambiance is what you would expect for a weird date scene in a low budget indie movie set in a middle of nowhere small town complete with bizarrely pale white hospital feeling lights. They will get your wrong 2 out 3 times and when they get it right it still won't feel right. If they renovated the interior, ramped up the customer service one full notch two full notches from 1/10 to at least 3/10, and if they actually expanded the menu and followed the lead of several other KFC locations in VA and turned this location into a hybrid KFC/LongJohn Silvers then maybe I would go back. If you just like quirky disappointments for the same price as a pleasurable dining experience then this is the KFC for you. read more

Ok, I've been meaning to update my previous review for some time now, and am feeling rather guilty for not having done it sooner. I braved ordering the pot pie again (what can I say? I love chicken pot pie!). It was amazing. FULL of chicken, peas, carrots, potatoes and gravy like mom would have made. The perfect flaky crust was heaven. I ordered again the following week. OK, I Have been to this particular KFC at least six times in the past three weeks, and I cannot help thinking there is an issue here. Twice my order was wrong and I had to return to the store for corrections. Each time, it seemed the chicken had been sitting under heat lamps for hours. Yet it is luke warm at best, and this last time, JUST TODAY, I ordered a two piece with biscuit, and what I got appears to be the two smallest pieces they could possibly have found. AND it cost me $6!!! For two small pieces of cold chicken and a biscuit???? REALLY? I have continued visiting this location because it is literally within walking distance of where I am staying. But, I think I may get into the car and DRIVE further if it means a better experience. read more

We order eight piece meals with two sides from here probably two or three times a month, always carry out, for the last five years, and never, ever had a problem. So lets say 30 orders per year, times five years, is 150 orders. And not once was anything other than exactly right. This KFC is clean and has a standard setup, but unlike the picture would imply it does not have a pizza hut attached to it. Anyways, this is the POOREST run KFC I have EVER been to, and I like there chicken, so I have been to alot. I like their new selections as well with the Chicken Littles and the bites. I have driven up to the speaker box with no one in front of me and had to wait longer than necessary, but not long enough to be fed up to leave, only to experience the same thing at the window. It is NOT fast food. One time they gave me my chicken bites, but did not have enough to complete the order so they tore up a chicken finger to complete the order. They DID NOT ask me if this was ok, they just did it. At least the last time they asked me if they could give me a finger(not torn up) since they could not complete the order. The wedges are ALWAYS dry. My husband likes them and tries them when we go, but they have never been up to Colonel standards. They are VERY rude their often shoving the bag at me through the window or speaking in spanish to one another in front of me. Which would fine if I was a native spanish speaker and they were addressing me, but they were not. Bilingiual is an asset, but not in this case. I've wanted to try the doublicious sandwich since the first day it came out. It was lunchtime and KFC was right there so I thought I'd give the $5 doublicious combo a try. This KFC didn't do anything wrong with the sandwich but the sandwich was just ok. There was plenty of sauce, nice and crispy chicken patty, and decent bacon. I just didn't think the Hawaiian bun was much different and the cheese was very mild. The potato wedges were warm, fresh, and nice and crispy. Don't go near the restroom. I stopped by to pick up dinner from window Ordered a kids meal, 2 chicken strips with a small side of mashed potatoes, juice and cheese stick. I got the order from window, the lady was rushing to give me the food but the drive through was not even busy and the inside was almost empty. I got home to feed my child and the mashed potatoes were not in the bag. The Chicken was cold and very old. The food tasted really bad, the grease must been very old. I called several times to the number printed in the receipt to complain but nobody ever pick up. very bad fast food, terrible service. Not worth the money.
