The best KFC I had in a long time . I was extremely impressed by the freshness the quality of all the food and the staff was on point !!!

Waited in the drive thru for over thirty minuets for two famous bowls. I can't be completely mad because it gets busy and sometimes there are other factors such as being understaffed. However after the long wait we get the two famous bowls and head home. We open them and not a single piece of chicken in either one. Just mashed potatoes, gravy, and corn. The chicken is the main ingredient. It's KFC for crying out loud, how could they forget the fried chicken??? read more

Terrible place, looks clean on the outside but inside was pretty dirty. We came in just before 5 and were the only customers. Could barely understand any of them. I ordered a chicken pot pie meal and the young man just could not get it. I had to repeat it slowly 3 times pointing at the picture and then he said it was their last one so I said fine. Wife went to the bathroom to wash up and no soap. I went to go as I just recovered from colon cancer and the cook beat me to it, he never came out. After about 15 minutes I walk back up and ask for the meal and the kid slurred it's coming out and the place was now filling up. We finally get the pie and it was sunken, dry and looked like crap. We tried to eat a little bit but the taste was not right. As we were walking out to go elsewhere we see some locals who they knew and low and behold, two fresh looking raised chicken pot pies that looked delicious. I never got to use the restroom as the cook never came out. Poorly ran place to pass up and not stop at. We only ate a couple bites and hoping we won't get sick but the next morning we both had a gut ache and the runs... RUN FROM THIS PLACE ITS THAT BAD. read more

I ordered an extra crispy bucket of 12 pieces. It contained 7 chicken breasts and none of it was extra crispy. We also ordered three chicken strips and they were the size of nuggets. The girl running the register had an inability to communicate and screwed up the order so much that I gave up on trying to get it right. I should've walked out so shame on me. Fort Stockton has a reputation for crappy service but man this KFC works very hard to have the worst service in town. And not to mention, the chicken tasted like someone emptied out a salt shaker in the batter. Horrible. I'll be throwing it out to the feral hogs this morning and I hope it doesn't tick them off. It's pretty bad. read more

This place has EVERYTHING going wrong today. Soda fountain is out of order. Soda behind counter is out except Dr Pepper and Mt. Dew. Waited to place my order for 10 minutes and the young lady taking the orders was not very friendly at all. Only 2 young ladies working. One was on the phone the whole time. It is filthy in here. The food was cold and dry AF. Won't EVER be stopping here again. read more

NEW KFC, I suppose the former reviews pertain to the old build. This is a superb KFC!!! The staff was polite. The inside was small, but supremely clean. The Sweet Lightning Mountain Dew was a fun flavor to try! Considering the amount of people in line.. the wait was tolerable and moved quick for the circumstances. The staff seemed focus and on their toes.. (Not goofing around). Oh and the food was delicious. Very impressed. read more

Not bad overall. The service was on the "relaxed" side, but the employees were friendly enough and the food was good. If you're passing through and in the mood for chicken, this will get you through. It's nothing spectacular but it's not horrible, it's KFC and about what you would expect. read more

The restaurant is old and outdated. On my visit today there were only a few selections of soda due to them being out of almost all sodas. The food was good and great customer service read more

Being the only KFC four hours away you are pretty much stuck with this place whether you like it or not to get your $5 chicken craving. Most of the time you will see a nice line of tickets averaging 10 spots along with a good handful of employees running around in the back like when you poke a hole in an ant pile, clueless on what they are doing but at least we looking busy. I have been here about 5 times already and not one time was the chicken fresh So if you want fresh chicken you will have to go to Bush's which is right down the road but paid double for what you are getting. This particular location is not even parking friendly since I rolled up one time and happened to have noticed my boss peeling a large KFC sign off of his truck, damage control please! They should give him chicken for a whole year but I think he would lose years of his life waiting to get any orders here on the average. That particular day I waited half an hour without exaggerating for my mail while the people before me we're waiting 45 minutes. Oh well it's just fast food so like it or leave it suck it up buttercup. read more

Great customer service and good was fresh and delicious. Look forward to coming back here.

I got an easy meal. And the chicken is old and tough to eat. The ranch dressing was bad and I am driving. I had to pull over and vomit because the food was so bad. Don't eat here. If I wasn't so far down the Highway I would go back and get a refund. read more

Showed up at 8pm on a Wednesday. They had no chicken at all. No chicken. Really? It looks like a new inviting building. But no chicken. Do you need any other info? read more

Fort Stockton resident. Decent when they opened the new store. Going downhill fast. I've tried it several times. Last 3 or 4 times I've tried it, they were out of something, like chicken. Went by last night at 6:00 PM. No chicken, none for 30 to 45 minutes. The very confused girl at the counter suggested that I go somewhere else. Not a problem. I went down the street to Bush's Chicken and got a good meal. Strongly suggest that whomever reads this review do the same. BTW-the only trash can in the lobby was running over. Drink/ice machine in the lobby has never worked since the place opened. read more

Basically came here because there was nowhere else to eat. The place is quite dirty, I don't understand why they don't have anyone working that's in charge of keeping the place clean? Even saw a dead fly in one of the front tables, yikes. read more

Worst Of The Worst!!!! So, The Hours Here At This Location Was 10:30 AM To 10:30 PM. I Did A Mobile Online Order With The App Around 8:59 PM & The App Told Me My Order Would Be Ready At 9:20 PM, But I Showed Up To The Location Only To Find Out They Ended Up Closing Early On Me. I Didn't Even Get To Pick Up My Order, & I Was Such I Was Robbed Out Of About $40 For A Order I Didn't Even Get To Pick Up. I Couldn't Even Get A Refund For It Since The App Wouldn't Let Me Do That, & The Employees Inside The Lobby Weren't Too Much Help As They Told Me In Drive Thru To Try Get A Refund There, But Nobody Shown Up To Help Me. Absolutely Rigged, Brutal, & Ridiculous!!!!! This Location Needs To Update Their Hours If They Gonna Close Early To Prevent Anymore Of This From Happening. So Now I'm Having To File A Dispute With My Bank Card To Try Get My Money Back. I'm Completely Furious From All Of This Mess. Never Ordering From Here Ever Again Until They Update Their Closing Time Hours. read more

They are always out of something, worst customer service and dirty place.smh the food is burnt or raw I would give it zero stars if I could it's ridiculous read more

Out of chicken tenders, fillets and crispy chicken. Then told to wait 7 minutes to place my order. 0/5

As I sit in line at the drive through, I can hear the lady that is working the window. I'm pleasantly surprised!! She has been polite, professional and so courteous to the folks in front of me, and to me as well!! An employee with an excellent attitude!! They need to keep her around as those are hard to find!! I cannot stress enough how polite and professional she is!! I hope the food doesn't disappoint!! Definitely 5 stars for service!! read more

Nope don't eat here. They serve grey chicken. Worst place I have ever been. Couldn't even eat it I was so grossed out. Yuck!!!!

Of all the restaurants that I have been to that I had evaluated to deserving a very low-grade, this KFC/TACO bell takes the cake!!!! Far exceeds the bottomless pit of low standard that could exist. It's unfathomable that an establishment can stay in business like this....oh but wait! That's right! they pray on people who travel and drive by there to get food. I know because I was one of them. I ordered my food and waited 30 mins without sign of any food coming to me. I went up to the counter to inquire not only to be met by someone who had no interest nor courtesy to greet me and address my situation, but I saw 4 more workers equally uninterested and extremely slow in their actions moving around the kitchen. One of them shouted across the kitchen to me "you are not the only customer. You need to wait your turn. We can't be doing everything the same time"...get this...the lobby had only 2 parties dinning and there was NO ONE else waiting for food!!! Another person actually had the audacity to come up to me and told me to leave the Establishment because I inquired about my food after 30 mins!!!! No apologies!!!! Did I mention the woman bathroom had a " out of order" sign up on the door.... just realized that someone commented on their yelp that the woman bathroom was broken.. and that comment was from 6 months ago!! Are you serious?? Is it a coincidence or they are just simply lousy store operator and owner? On that topic, after seeing the grade for this establishment, I am apparently not alone in my evaluation. The dinning room and the tables were filthy. The only bathroom that was open for service was filthy as well They are giving the KFC/TACO BELL brand a very bad rap. I will be contacting the Corp office. This place is DISGUSTING and is NOT FIT to serve food to the public. It needs to shut down. read more

This place was a total dump. No straws, most all tables were dirty, and it was pretty filthy throughout. There was even a sign offering free tacos if you filled out a survey, gave them a good score, and mentioned the cashiers name (see picture) in which the cashier would then get $5. This was a pretty crappy place. It was a KFC/Taco Bell. The chicken tenders were salty beyond belief and the crunchy tacos should have been labeled "soggy tacos". I travel through here at least twice a month and needless to say I won't be coming back. On a side the staff was friendly and they did switch out the chicken for even saltier chicken. read more

With a grin and a smile, I straddled up to the counter of KFC/taco Bell in fort Stockton. "One Cheetos sandwich please, my queen" I sat down at the beautiful beige tables, along with all my other patrons who were waiting for their banquets. As I perched on the chair 20 flies perched on me. I was now a chair. A chair for flies. "Alabaster!" Shrieked the lady at the counter. A wave of excitement rushed through my plums and I received my sandwich. it was pretty good 3/5 not the worst I've had but definitely tastes bad. Soon I had to use the pisser, so I waited on an employee to finish his piss. He was quick, too quick. I looked at the sink and just as I suspected, dry as west Texas. Ya gotta wash yer hands my bud. read more

One star is too generous for this place. The women who waited on me was shockingly rude--I was actually taken aback. She said her name was Felicia, but she wasn't wearing a name tag, and I'm not inclined to believe her. I wasn't expecting a lot from KFC. We're just passing through Ft. Stockton, and it was one of the only places open. Maybe that's why they think they can get away with such horrible service. I hope I don't get sick. The food was horrible. read more

Drove up to the drive thru and was told the computers were down, drove up a different day was told the fryers were not working. Look... the employees at this place dont like to work, seen one of them drinking alcohol while on the job and seen the manager walking out of the walk-in adjusting her clothes with the fry cook to follow as he was adjusting his clothes too. -0. Negative 0. This place is dirty. Employees are have 0 "f***s" when it comes to customer service. Have music blaring in the back where the cooks are. Flies everywhere. Trash running over the trash cans. Trash on the floors. Walked in @ 9:05 pm, they told me, "sorry, we don't serve chicken after 9pm" (WTF)! & who wears a hoodie while working at the register???? TF! 1 star is far higher than this lawless, filthy, rude, hell hole deserves. By all means pass this pathetic excuse for a restaurant up. All the 0 star (1 star by default) ratings are right on the mark. We found ourselves saying to each other OMG! reading the Yelp reviews AFTER we had visited. By all means, DO NOT stop here on your way through the area. The place is filthy, tables unclean and garbage cans overflowing. My wife put in her order only to find after 30 minutes that they had neglected to give it to the grill for fulfillment. Then my daughter put in an order, had to change it. The counter person (no name tags on anyone) said that he cancelled the charge but my daughter's phone bank app showed she had two charges. The clerk arrogantly refused to give us an explanation. I asked to talk with the manager. "I am the manager." OMG! Offended at my shock, he ordered us off the property for trespassing, threatening to call the police! "Please, call the police," I begged. During the course of the exchange with my daughter he snidely commented on my daughter's sock cap: "Nice cap." That proved the last straw for her. She blasted him for stupid insensitivity. She had completed chemotherapy recently and wore the cap to cover hair loss. His coworker made the remark, "I would like to smack her up the side of her head!" She did not wear a name tag, either. We considered stopping by the police station to file a complaint but decided that we could probably only accuse them of rudeness, incompetence, and a lack of professionalism. I believe that the sanitary inspectors could close them down, though. So we decided to write this Yelp review and log a complaint with corporate headquarters. We will never visit a KFC again. read more

I agree with all the one star posts. Dining area was the dirtiest fast food place I have ever seen. Dark meat was dry and over cooked. Seriously, how does one cook dark meat to a dry state? This store is a disgrace for a national franchise. Standing at the counter (no-one else about) 1 man casually approached. Gave him our order. He said he couldn't take it as he wasn't signed in. Eventually another man came over to joint he first. Then another (no in the usual KFC uniform) and they all had a discussion/disagreement in front of us at the register about who was working and who should be taking the order. After saying "hello" once we were ignored. We had to ask them to take our order after what must have been 20 seconds of them arguing in front of us. The toilets are disgusting. Broken tap and cubicle door wouldn't lock and neglected paint on the cubicle. The soda machine was filthy and damaged. Barely warm chicken pieces. Thankfully the female wearing glasses who handed us the meal was friendly and polite. read more

Worse KFC I have ever been to in my life. Read all the bad reviews and decided to give them a chance hoping things had gotten better. Worse decision ever. Restaurant is nasty, everything is so dirty. Such bad customer service. The girl who took my order was not even in uniform and looked like she didn't even work there. She took my order and then told me that they didn't have the sandwiches I had ordered and she didn't even offer to give me something else, she had to wait for someone else to come and do it.
