I was looking for a great lunch special. I saw this deal of Thursday 8-count tenders for $10. I ordered takeout pickup via through website. I did not know until I saw the window sign that I could have made my order a meal with 2 sides and 2 biscuits for $5 more. Instead I redeemed an offer for 2 large sides of mashed potatoes and gravy for $6. Tenders came as original, but I wish they were crispy and bigger. KFC mashed potatoes and gravy hit the spot. Half my meal became tomorrow's lunch. The floor isn't the cleanest, but the employees appear to be going above and beyond...I witnessed a woman and a gentleman taking orders out to cars and carrying trays out to tables. You can order through their app, at the in-store kiosks or at the register (if you're old school!). They have a $10 8-pc chicken special on Tuesdays and $4.99 Country Fried Steak on Wednesdays. In this economy, I'm sharing ALL the deals! The service is not fast, but the food is fresh. Also, I should mention that just because the app says that your order is ready, does not actually mean that it's ready! I had to wait for fresh nuggets for our famous bowls, but I didn't mind. I looked at reviews. A lot of 1s, but this place is better than that, maybe past history. It's KFC at it meets the standard. It had rained the night bf, so some mud had been tracked in the counter area, but a round about is being built at that intersection. A lot of the customers were wearing safety vest and work boots, so guess what, they're going to bring in mud. I bought the 2 piece, with potatoes-gravy and biscuits. Potatoes/gravy were a little bland, I did not add salt, that may have helped. I added butter and honey to the biscuit, it was very good. And the chicken with original, held up to the standard i accustomed to at KFC. It did seem the restaurant may have been understaffed. They have a bell on the front counter to ring if needed. No one is just standing there waiting for people to come in. They looked very busy. read more

The food is typically KFC-not bad. I put in a mobile app order. I arrived at almost the exact time it was promised. Went through the drive through and was told that it would be a bit longer: "please go around to the front and we will bring it out". After waiting for about 20 minutes I realized something was up. I went inside and an employee asked what I needed. I explained that she had told me to go around front but nothing happened. She walked away and I stood another 15 minutes before another lady came out front who seemed to be the manager to give someone else their food so I enquired again about my order. 2 stars. I ordered a pot pie and two entrees... after waiting at the window Forever they come back to say they don't have any pot pies. How irritating. My next visit, I ordered the advertised special that was on the menu board. I get to the window and get my food, then I get ready to pay... My total was more than expected.. A lot more. He rang up the wrong thing despite me confirming my order several times. Instead of making it right, he wanted me to hand back the food. That's not even sanitary. So I paid $25 for items I didn't order. Then he tells me that he doesn't think I'll "regret my purchase". I'm so shocked that I don't even say much. Well we should give credit where it's due. They must have new management here because the lobby was open and clean. The staff was welcoming and friendly. The food was hot and fresh. In fact I enjoyed my dinner so much not only did I go back and place a carry out order I went out of my way to ask for the manager and tell him how great it was. He thanked me and said it's rare we ever hear anything good, only the bad. So I challenge everyone in the new year to go out of your way to thank people in the good times. Internet says open at 10, door says open at 10, lady inside says to go through drive-thru she's not unlocking the doors. As I'm in my car searching for another place that has macaroni and cheese for my kids before 11am someone else drives up and unlocks the doors at 10:40. First they said it would have to be half and half because they were out of extra crispy and we said ok. Got home...its all original and no coating on anything. What a disappointment! Their strip meals are reduced in size, along with the rest of the accompanying items like cole slaw and mashed potatoes. The current strips are in reality the old two strips cut in half to make four. I was shocked. There was also a 20 minute wait for biscuits, or you could opt for a cookie instead. Who wants a cookie? I have lived in a Fishers for 20 years. During that time I visited the prior KFC in "downtown" Fishers. 11 out of 13 times, the food was poor quality, cold or otherwise inedible. Had a teenager who Loved KFC and thought it will be better next time. It never was. It was clear, KFC didn't care and I wasn't returning. It's been more than 6 years since. Tonight someone suggested we try the new one. I gave in reluctantly. Went there and ordered the usual extra crispy chicken bucket. Got regular recipe - again. The slovenly dude at the window was unfriendly, curt, and could care less - typical management material of the past. Handed me a sticky credit card processing machine, then my food. Food was terrible. Wrong recipe. I can't eat the regular because it's too greasy (extra greasy tonight), and I had intestinal surgery years ago. Couldn't eat it. Chicken was warm, service cold, the crappy restaurant of the past is alive and well at this restaurant. I will never eat there again, neither will my guests and neither should you. I ordered online for the fishers location, when I went to pick up they seemed confused and then started getting my order together. I was given the wrong kind of chicken and wrong sauces. When I got home I realized the fries were soggy and the chicken was inedible. The breading was wet and the chicken was tough. The biscuits were raw on the inside. Upon entering the "restaurant" tonight, the cashier (who is apparently the "shift manager"... i.e., team lead) didn't speak to us except to say, "original or crispy." After watching two people who ordered after us leave with their food, I asked Jeffrey (nametag)/Spencer (receipt ID) what the holdup was. He said one of the items (chicken strips) needed to be made, so it would be awhile. When I asked why he didn't just let us know, he went on to argue with me about having other things to do, we weren't the only customers, etc. When our food WAS ready, Jeffrey/Spencer proceeded to toss the tray on the counter and walked away saying, "Two $5 boxes." It appears that this KFC suffers from extremely poor management. In March we went on a 40 degree day and they had the inside temp no higher than 45 to 50. Three weeks ago there was a horrible stench pervading the restaurant, but today the employees decided to skip the subtle ways to drive people away and simply locked the doors early. We arrived to find locked doors at 9:15 when the sign on the door clearly stated the dining room closes at 10:00. If the employees bully management on these issues I can only imagine how filthy and unsanitary the cooking area is. read more

My experience is based solely on drive thru. The staff at this chain has always been polite and friendly. I can't recall them messing up our order. Anytime they ask us if we'd like sauce, they are never stingy when we ask for two different flavors. Once in awhile we'll get the chocolate chip cake, which is delicious. My husband and I dined here on Thursday evening, it was late near 10 pm when I picked up my food through drive through. The chicken was dried out in the Famous Bowl and it was very sloppy, potatoes coming out of the sides and gravy in the bag. The chicken little was so hard I could not even bite it and the two chicken breast I ordered were also dried out. I tried to call the restaurant but nobody every answers the phone. My advice is I would not eat at this location late, the food is close to being tossed out and apparently they still serve it to guests. read more

I wish I could give this location zero stars. If I were the owner of this KFC I would be appalled and embarrassed to be associated with it. This must be a case of the owner living out of town and not caring AT ALL. We were there on a Sunday morning 30 minutes after they opened for the day. It was FILTHY. The floors around other tables were also filthy with crumbs and debris. The first table we sat down to was sticky and we had to move. They been opened for 30 minutes and it was empty when we arrived. So this was clearly left over from not only the day before, but by the looks of everything, MANY days before. I should have looked at the reviews before we went in, but we were getting our tires rotated next door, so it seemed a convenient place for a fast lunch. Now I am worried I will get sick from what is clearly an utter disregard for basic cleanliness. Please don't eat here. Why neither the owners nor the management seem to care about the state of this place, I can't comprehend. But if the dining room looks this bad when you are the first people in when they open for the morning, imagine what the food prep area must look like. No one cares here.
