This is one of those converted KFC and A&W locations, talk about hybrid....Two forms of grease, packed into one location, to clog your heart valves, such a deal... I tend to shy away from KFC, in any form, but the boyz and I had just finished up a great early AM paintball event and were hungry as bears! Three votes A&W, one vote KFC, and we have a winner! Plenty of parking, even with snow piled in the parking lot, the place was empty at noon, but we entered anyway. One boy in the party had a KFC "bowl", it looked a lot like pig vomit, but hell I wasn't eating it, he seemed to scarf it down. I had a Papa burger, the other two boys had a tube steak. If you want good fried chicken..do not come here. Their chicken is extremely greasy and once you are done eating, all the oil sits on top of your stomach. It is extremely heavy, it is as if you are drinking a cup of oil. The only good thing that they sell are the mashed potatoes and gravy - that is really good! I completely adore KFC crispy snackers! My tummy rumbles just at the thought of it. But I was completely disappointed with the quality of the snackers I received from this KFC. There was one piece of lousy lettuce in my snacker and it barely had any sauce. UH even McDonald's gives me a good little pile of lettuce in my $1.00 chicken sandwich. Snackers are like $1.50! I also got a buffalo chicken snacker which also disappointed because the sauce didn't cover the chicken all the way. The popcorn chicken was decent but the size of the box is laughable. In the drive-thru, I ordered a burger and fish and chips (this is a combined KFC & A&W). I was told the fish & chips would be 5 minutes. After paying, drove to the front to wait. 13 minutes in, a girl carrying 2 bags of food came to our car and asked what had we ordered. I told her and she browsed through the bags she was carrying, didn't say another word and walked away. The wait was less of a problem than the fact that she was wearing her mask below her nose while she's browsing through food orders! My husband called her back and asked her to please cover her nose when bringing our food. After several more minutes, she brought food and handed it through the window without a thank you and simply walked away. I watched her walk back inside and pull down her mask exposing her nose and mouth in the dining room which was open for take-out orders. I was actually starting to go inside and ask for my money back because of the wait, but mostly because I was so uncomfortable with the irresponsible manner in the use of a mask. I went to this drive thru near closing time. My order was near 50.00. To start my chicken littles were to have mayo on the side and cheese there was mayo on the sandwiches and no cheese. My Nashville hot chicken littles was to have no mayo and extra pickle but there was mayo and only 2 pickles per sandwich. The Nashville hot sandwich meal had mayo no extra pickle. The dark meat box combo chicken was burnt and they were out of extra crispy and the mashed potatoes and gravy spilled in the box and the biscuit was raw in the middle. The large Cole slaw spilled in the bag. Ordered family size cake got one single serving cake. Asked for 10 butter and 10 honey and only got like 4 of each. No forks or spoons or sporks no napkins. If a family drops this much it should be right the first time When I called to complain I was told who I was talking to was in charge. As I started explaining what happened I was rudely interrupted and was told they could not help me and to call the next day and talk to the store manager. She is supposedly work from 10 am to 11pm. We will see when I call after work. Update finally after multiple calls to resolve this issue. On a suggestion from another KFC store manager I physically went into the store to talk to the manager I was told to talk to. Cathy came out to talk to me right off the bat she was rude. I told her I had been calling when I could since I work 60 to 70 hours a week. I offered to tell her everything that was wrong or she could give me my money.back at first she said she would have to talk to her boss. Then she said she would make an exception but had to put back on my debit card when I explained we couldn't because there had been fraud recently and I had not received my new one. She then walked away making a phone call when she came back I had to either come back after 6 or when I got a new card and she was keeping the receipt. I then said I didnt want to come back and just replace the food. First she pointed at an employee saying if I came back she will know who I am. She started arguing about making the food cause I had asked for the money first and she was keeping the receipt when I mentioned since we could not refund to my card because of fraud she actually asked me if I was sure that happened. She finally agreed to make the food but refused to add cheese to my pregnant wife's sandwiches that was ordered but not rang up also refused to change the cake from small to family size and finally refused to replace the drinks. I asked if I could take a picture of the receipt she refused. I had to send back two things that were wrong. I'm so done with this store I'm not even calling her boss. Went there for the $3 chicken bowls that are advertised 20 times a day on tv and they told me they are $5 at that location and got a 8 piece chicken bucket that is $13 at all the other KFC's and they charged me $18 and it wasn't even a meal . I went through drive thru around 840 at night. I had placed an order for a 7 piece family meal and specifically asked for a mix of crispy and original recipe. After waiting in line for a bit I got to the window where the lady proceded to tell me that they only had chicken breast and that it would be 14 minutes for other parts. I told her that was fine and that I'd wait. Then she said "Original right?" I told her no that I had ordered crispy and original. She then spoke to the other employees for a second and came back to explain that they were only cooking original and asked again if it was okay. This got me upset because: 1) Why the heck if they were going to cook up original could they not cook up crispy?? I wanted crispy! It's like going to McDonald's to order a quarter pounder and they tell you they don't have quarter pound burger patties but they could throw in big mac patties. If I go to a KFC I expect to be able to get crispy or original chicken. 2) If they were not planning to sell me crispy then why the heck didn't they tell me when I pulled up to order?? Instead they waited till I got to the window after waiting in line! It's not like the place was busy inside or even in the drive thru to where their supply of crispy chicken could have been depleted in the time it took for me to get to the window (there was only one car in front of me). I live close to this location and we come in quite a bit. The service here has at times been a bit slow, but the food has been good so we keep returning. Recently, I went to the drive through and ordered a large meal deal with the breast filets. I asked for mac and cheese as one of my sides, but was told the meal deal comes with potato and gravy and coleslaw only. No other sides can be switched out. So I paid extra for a family mac and cheese. At time of ordering, there was no one else in the drive thru but myself, and the parking lot was fairly dead as well. Upon arriving to the window, I was then informed the breast filets were going to take 9 minutes to cook. I told the cashier that 9 minutes was ok. She then had me pay my bill totaling over 32.00. Time of payment was 7:11pm. The cashier had me park by the front door. Over 24 minutes later, my food was finally brought out to my car. I told the employee of my wait time. She said"Oh....sorry" and walked away. I was not happy. I looked at my receipt and called the number listed so i could talk to the manager. As I drove home, the phone just rang and rang. I called 3 times and let it ring a long time and no one ever bothered to answer the phone. Bad customer service, extensive wait time, along with inability to contact management, or anyone via phone. I now understand why I cannot find this on Google Maps when I search for A&W hamburgers... It's pretty obvious once you get inside and order that it's really just a KFC that does some A&W items as well. I went to this location for lunch with my nephew after running an errand. I figured that it would be tastier than the other options in the area. I wasn't very impressed with what I got. First off, the cashier person seemed confused when I asked what was in the A&W kids hamburger. The person listed the items included in the meal rather than the individual items in the burger. I had ordered a kids meal with a cheeseburger with no pickles and no mustard for my Nephew. When we got the food, it was hot, but the burger had pickles AND mustard. Not only that, but the A&W kids meal contained one of the KFC biscuits... Which is very confusing because that is not listed and I thought that was over kill. Most kids get full just from a decent hamburger and fries. Are they trying to make my Nephew fat? My burger was fine, if not a little thin. I seem to remember the meat being thicker at the A&W inside the Everett Mall. I am glad to say that one upside was that both the kids cheeseburger and the burger I got were on Sesame Seed Buns, which is a rarity for many places these days. I hadn't really thought too much about the 20 dollar charge, and the empty dinning room, as long as the food was good. To my dismay it was horrible the six wings that my son ordered were dry, like the worst thanksgiving turkey you ever had. and the burgers that me and my wife ordered were not the A&W burgers I was used to growing up. I lifted the top of the burger and there was a little bit of shredded lettuce, a tiny little ring of an onion, and one small piece of a tomato. I was thinking I should have gotten the Papa burger because it was cheaper, but on second thought I didn't want to see a cheaper burger from this joint. Chicken seems old often times. Pieces are half the size than before. KFC used to be way better. Taste is different from how good it was but generally still okay and okay is different from good. Decided to hit the drive thru here instead of Taco Bell next door because The Bell ALWAYS messes up the order..giving beef when you pay for steak and chicken, onions when you specifically asked for NONE because of allergies, etc. This isn't a review about Taco Bell so I will save it for one. The order had to be repeated I dont know how many times because the person didn't speak English and consisted of a few twister wraps, which used to be a favorite, and some snackers (2 BBQ and 2 Crispy somethings) 2 drinks ..over $30! Instead of checking the food INSIDE the wrappers, I just made sure everything that was supposed to be in the bag was. Get home and start with the $1.69 BBQ snacker of mostly bread and very little shredded bbq chicken :/ Flavor was good but not enough meat. Crispy snackers get set aside so we can dig into the twisters. COMPLETELY INEDIBLE AND HORRIBLY DISAPPOINTING!!! The tortillas were soaked in the sauce and was a total mess. The chicken over cooked and not filling the wrap. Big chunks of crappy tomato and a slop of wilted lettuce. DISGUSTING!!! In the trash all 3 went. And what do those things cost now, like $7? Never again! Thank goodness the crispy snackers were still in front of us. There was plenty of popcorn chicken on the snacker but very little sauce. My two boys 12 and 8 years old wants fried chickens for lunch, so I decided to head to this location because I was at Home Depot in Everett on HWY 99 shopping. We normally go to the KFC in Lynnwood on 196th. Anyway, we went thru drive-thru and asked about the $20 bucket deals we saw on Facebook. The guy at the drive thru intercom said they do not have the deal right now, but have the $25 dollars buckets deal with 8 pieces of legs and thighs. I was not happy to hear this, but my two boys was hungry so I went ahead and got the $25 deal. At the pay window, I asked again about the $20 bucket deal again. The guy said you have to order online then come to pick it up. He could have told me this when I ordered at the drive-thru. When we got home, we found that the mash potatoes did not have any gravy for it. My boys took one bite of the mash with no gravy and said it's not the same. and also no napkins for our order. This is the worst KFC I have ever been to. Our family enjoy KFC and eat it regular but this one we will never step inside again. Customer Service is disgusting and you need to know Spanish (which I am not) as that is all they talk, particularly amongst themselves while trying to serve you. If you have a question their English is very broken English and then they turn around and speak Spanish to find out the answer and when they come back with the answer, they really do not have an aswer for the question. We asked how fresh the chicken was and after their Spanish communication amongst themselves they told us that it had just come out. Well when we got home, which is about 7 minutes away, the chicken was not fresh, it was disgusting. They do not know what the words Customer Service mean.
