After doing a bit of shopping and driving around, I needed some dinner on a Sunday. My original thought was to get something from Taco Bell close to the hotel. When I got there, it was closed. It was around 6 pm when I was in this area. Sadly, many fast food eateries have been closing early due to being short-staffed. I have driven by this KFC many times. I typically try and find eateries that I don't frequent back home. Then again, I haven't hit KFC much. I used to after work when I worked from the office. I hit this KFC's drive-thru to check it out. I had chicken tenders on my mind. However, when I spotted the mac and cheese combo with popcorn chicken on top, I knew that I had to order it. There was one car ahead of me. When it was my turn, I placed my order. I got a Diet Pepsi as my drink with this combo. I paid with a credit card. My meal was well under $9 with tax. I got my food pretty fast. I thanked the nice man and drove back to the hotel to eat in my room. I wish that KFCs in Canada had a mac and cheese bowl with popcorn chicken. I'd get it all the time! I absolutely loved this bowl. The mac and cheese was creamy and cheesy. The elbow noodles were perfect. I love the popcorn chicken at KFC. They were the perfect amount in this bowl to keep me happy and not pass out immediately on the couch. This combo came with a chocolate chip cookie. I liked getting dessert. It was the right amount of sweetness at the end of my meal. The Diet Pepsi was the perfect drink to wash everything down. I loved that my drink and my cookie had Kentucky Fried Chicken spelled out and the Colonel's mugshot on it. It felt like what I grew up seeing as a kid. Now, if KFC Canada would bring back the mixed salad with the corn kernels from my childhood, I'd be a happy camper! At least the coleslaw is no longer that weird green colour. I loved the mac and cheese bowl combo so much that I came back to get it my final night in Eagan before I returned home. It was comforting and yummy, which was what I needed that evening. We should have read the reviews before venturing into this dreadful mess. Unfortunately, we ordered the 10 piece Dunkin Bucket expecting something tasty, warm and made to order. Absolutely the worst experience we have had at any restaurant in decades. Stale biscuits, cold fries and tasteless chicken left us mortified, especially after paying nearly $30 for the whole experience. Staff was kind enough and provided adequate service, however, that is definitely not enough to garner any sort of recommendation. Avoid KFC at all cost and know you are not missing anything. read more

I haven't eaten fast food for about 15 years but stopped at KFC Eagan for my kid. Now I go there all the time. First of all, the Latina at the drive thru ( I think her name is Breda) is the main reason. I appreciate that she makes you feel like she is happy to help you. Overheard staff today say that they are not following the policy on replacing your soda with a new cup due to the Coronavirus. I found a brown hair in my green beans when I ordered the buffet from them today. It is very disappointing to see a fast food restaurant such as KFC not taking the Coronavirus seriously. I have always liked KFC growing up and I am surprised that this location was not taking the Coronavirus seriously. Again I am just disappointed overall. The restaurant did not offer me any concessions when I told them about the hair in the green beans. At the very least they could have apologized, but they didn't even do that. read more

This used to be a decent place to go for lunch. The buffet used to be pretty popular and therefore the food was usually rotated frequently. Meaning hot and fresh. Lately though there has been a very noticeable downward trend in both food quality, cleanliness and the staff's attitude. I think there may have been a management change but not sure. Anyways, my review is about my most recent drive-thru experience. The order taker was pleasant enough and the food was ready promptly when I got to the window. The person at the window seemed preoccupied by a conversation with someone in the kitchen and I really didn't have there attention. I was handed my food after a quick swipe of my card and the window was promptly shut without so much as a thank you. When I got back to my office I found out why the food was so quick to go. I ordered the five piece extra crispy tenders combo with a Diet Pepsi. The first thing I noticed is that the sauces I had specified were missing. This was followed by food presentation that looked like everything was just tossed in the box and put through a paint shaker. I did get my cookie and biscuit and the amount of fries was very generous but that is where the positives end. The tenders were as dry and chewy as rawhide and without the sauce difficult to eat without sips of the flat non-diet Pepsi accompanying my order. The fries would have probably tasted great if not simply at room temperature along with the tenders which were only slightly warmer. Probably a benefit of many hours under the heat lamps. In short this meal left much to be desired. I must reiterate that I have been coming to this location for several years during the work week for lunch and this was by far the worst experience yet. I do not think I will return again. This bodes well for the Korean fried chicken place about to open up just down the road. I will see if Bonchon can at least become a viable option for fried chicken for future lunch breaks. If not the gas station grill a few blocks away usually has hot though not very flavorful fried chicken. This review was for the Town Centre location in Eagan, MN. read more

In all fairness, can you give a lot more than 3 to fast food restaurants? I wanted to mention though, that because I usually don't go to fast food restaurants, other than something straight forward (chicken sandwich, french fries, things like that) I have no idea what is included. And here I was, standing in a line, asking what was bowl. Order chicken tenders meal. Asked for bbq and ranch and got nothing, no straw for my soda, no napkins in the bag and my cold coleslaw was placed in the box with the hot food. The kicker for me though was the extremely rude and sexist Italian man ( he announced he was Italian) Who thought it was funny to crack jokes about women belonging in the kitchen and his Scandinavian wife not being able to cook then he made a comment to me about how I must be good at cooking desserts. I can only assume this comment was because I am overweight. The man thought he was being funny and friendly. These are not words I would use to describe his behavior , words or actions Between the sexiest comments, racial comments, fat shaming, and not getting what I ordered I'm amazed they are even still in business. Usually I wouldn't rate places this low but when you have a buffet and items are empty, even staples like coleslaw. And the chicken bins are dirty wih just thighs left and you ask for white meat and you're told "it'll probably be 13-15 mins or so." Come on. It's a buffet. Ordered my Famous Bowl #8 and it came with a pop. Went and got a Mt. Dew and as it was dispensing the soda a bunch of flys came out of it. I know, it's a fast food restaurant but... REALLY? I love KFC, it's just this location in particular that was so bad, it prompted me to write a review. We have a KFC in Lakeville that does the buffet and it's fantastic. We are moving to Eagan on Wednesday and while signing our new lease, we were checking out the surrounding area. We were happy to not only see a Kentucky Fried Chicken but one that also offered the buffet. We went inside and ... should've just turned around. The staff was rude. Didn't welcome us, but did ask "what you want?" so there's that. We ordered 2 adult and 1 child buffets. We got three tiny drink cups. Free refills, so fine. But the food offered... the options they DID have, was scant to say the least. The "salad bar" had chocolate and vanilla puddings and honey and butter containers to take up half of the salad offerings. There was plenty of mashed potatoes and gravy but no corn. No stuffing. No soup. No mac & cheese? How do you sell a child buffet with no mac and cheese? They must just be out... So I asked. "We don't put out the macaroni on the buffet". Huh? Ok... whatever. I get to the chicken pans and they are both totally empty save for the grease drippings and fatty skin, unattached to any actual chicken. Someone came through quickly to refill the pans. I like dark meat and was happy with the unusually high number of drumsticks but my husband is a fan of white meat though and there was none. "We don't put the white meat out on the buffet" he was told. Perhaps it's my bad for staying but it was so late in the day that my stomach started to eat itself (and to be fair, THAT wasn't even on the menu). I've never had anything but fast, courteous service and delicious food here. The double-down is to die for. It is so scrumptious. And of course the original recipe is always fantastic. This is a poorly run restaurant. I placed a pre-paid on-line order at 2:30 PM for a 4:30 PM pick-up and when I arrived they made me wait an additional 20 minutes to get my food. If this happened at nearly any other restaurant, I would expect them to be apologetic and polite. Not these folks. The were rude and short with us, making excuses about being overly busy (at 4:30 PM) and rather than offer any apology, they slammed the drive thru window in our faces. If you are the owner or regional manager, you need to address this behavior PRONTO! We won't ever go back to this KFC. read more

Bad experience, very bad experience. On February 19 I purchased a 16 piece chicken bucket mash potatoes gravy, corn, mac n cheese, and biscuits for my family. My family and I all got sick after eating Chicken as the common item from this location. Tried calling the next day to report and no answer, tried calling the following day and again no answer. I called corporate to report the incident and called the MN Dept of Health. I finally stopped over and asked if anyone else reported getting sick and of course we were the only lucky people to have gotten sick or at least report it. Spoke with a manger finally and it was complete deniability that we got sick from his store. I was not offered reimbursement for the meal since worker failed to provide receipt or reimbursement for my son's school trip he was sent home from after experiencing food poisoning. Unless you're taking someone you hate out to dinner here, stay clear of this crap shoot. My brothers and I went there with our dad and ordered a family size bucket of chicken. BUT (or should I say BUTT), not long after eating all hell broke loose. I had a gastrointestinal experience like nothing I've ever imagined. Cramps, sweating, bloating beyond my worst nightmare. I've had food poisoning from some bad shellfish and that was almost like a skip in the park compared to what was going on inside me. Later on that night...Satan tore through my intestines and spent the night holding me in his burning colon grasp. Then came the, uh, flatulence. Heavens to Murgatroyd, the sounds, like trumpets calling the demons back to Hell...the stench, like 1,000 rotten corpses vomited. I couldn't stand to stay in one room for fear of succumbing to my own odors. But alas I had no choice. After about 6 hours of this ungodly torture I think I passed out. Either that or my body had succumb to the shock it was inevitably going to fail to keep at bay. After contacting the franchise owner and explaining to him the intense food poisoning I received from this place, he was nice enough to ignore the concerns I brought to him. For the record, not only did Satan join me that night. He joined EVERY SINGLE FAMILY MEMBER WHO ATE THERE THAT NIGHT. R.I.P my poor colon. read more

I love the pot pies at KFC and in Dec 2016, they mailed out a number of coupons including a buy one get one free coupon for their pot pies. I was happy to say the least. So I went to the Town Center location the day after the coupons landed in my mail box. It was 7:10 pm on a Tuesday but they were out of them and it was a 22 minute wait. So I left. I went back that Thursday at 6:52 pm only to be told the same thing but with a 17 minute wait, again I left. So I contacted their main office to complain which resulted in them mailing me a $5 gift certificate a week later. So I went back on Tues. Dec 27th at 5:55 pm only to once again be told that they were out and I'd have to wait 12 minutes. So I left again. I went back Friday Dec 30th at 4:47 only to be told that they were once again out and I'd have to wait again. So, that makes 4 times I've tried to order 2 pot pies only to have them tell me they were not only out, but the wait time was almost as long as it takes to get a meal at a sit down restaurant. I still haven't been able to use the gift certificate that I received for their poor service, because of continuing poor service. Obviously, the management there sucks to say the least. I cannot imagine having such incompetent management that they would be out of a coupon item on 4 random visits over a 3 week period, within roughly an hour or so of the 6 pm dinner hour. I worked in the fast food industry for 3 years in the early 80's we didn't run out of food as the managers kept on top of inventory and cooking times. Possibly the worse location, if they do happen bag your entire order, you don't get condiments, also pre order extra sauce 12-piece-finger-bucket (serves 4) allows only 3 dipping sauce.... So be specific about the quantity of sauce cups. And your definitely lucky if they take your order when at a POS they try to remember so if your quantity is rang in wrong as they push you ahead, then be sure to get a receipt to cross check. read more

Went to get a Family fill up at the Town Center KFC. I placed my order In the drive thu and after sitting for 2 to 3 minutes the lady finally responds, but says "what $5 fill up did you want?" Not sure how the two sound the same. So I corrected her on it then she told me they did not have enough chicken to fill an order unless I get the crispy which i did not want. So against my better judgement i went inside to order, and the manager told me it was a 20 min wait to get what I wanted, so i asked then if there is a discount for having to wait so long. I mean it's supposed to be fast food, not to mention it's KFC you sell chicken but don't have enough ready. The manager very rudely tells me no, because she told me I would have to wait when i came in, and then the drive tru girl chimes in about her poor listening and her error in initially trying to take my order and tells me the mistake was because my car was too loud. My car sounds like any other it is not excessively loud and you can barely hear it running. So, I decided I did not want anything told the manager I was going to contact corporate and she says so call whoever you want they were so rude the whole time.
