Over priced dry biscuit combos with no egg or cheese
    Dan T.

Staff is great, exactly what you expect from a Chick-fil-A. Let's talk about breakfast. This was easily one of the worst places I've been to in an airport. Options were limited and we were hungry. A family of six isn't going to be cheap when eating on the run at an airport. We stopped in for a quick breakfast and immediately found out that there's no egg or cheese on any of these breakfast items. Just a biscuit and whatever meat. That includes bacon, so 2 tiny strips of bacon between a crumbly biscuit. The disappointment was in everyone's face but we had committed and it was too late to find anyplace else. We had a connecting flight to get to. So one person decided not to eat because "what's the point of eating a dry crumbling biscuit with a piece of chicken in between", good point. But we were hungry. $43.21 for 5 pretty substandard meals. Not worth it. Won't waste my time. You shouldn't either. Still love this place but not the airport version. Again, staff was as great as always, don't cha know

Neighboring restaurant to Chick Fil-A that I might visit instead next time due to under par customer service.

It's a good thing that I waited to write this review while in the food court, AFTER my tummy was full. I stood in a line about 8 people deep and got to the front of the line in about 10 minutes. There were 2 ladies working the register and when the line got even longer, they dropped to one staff member. When I was in line, I noticed there was another unofficial line that was pretty long off to the side but didn't take much notice until I was in it. I probably should have left while in line, but I stayed, craving those waffle fries. I was finally up front and the sales associate was behind a mask and taking my order. I didn't notice any fancy greetings or anything like that in particular. I had to remind her that I needed to pay. She didn't really add much spunk or anything, leaving me with a pretty poor idea of the customer service at this F7 gate's location. Then the wait began. There was no one behind the counter helping the gal taking the orders. I joined the crowd to the right - that unofficial line that I was talking about earlier. We waited, and waited... and waited. 15 min pass by. Finally someone in a checkered shirt came out of the back area and said to one gentleman that had been waiting for probably 20 minutes, that his food would be out shortly. I don't know if this is a fluke that I happened to witness such slow service and not-so-excellent customer service. I do know that I'm not buying a car, I'm at Chick-Fil-A so maybe I shouldn't expect stellar service from someone who is selling me my dinner snack: medium set of fries & a soda. I do however, normally expect more because I'm at Chick Fil-A!! They are normally REALLY Spectacular. The food was tremendous, however. Thank goodness for A+ recipes and the fries were probably some of the best, Crisp and fresh fries I've had at a Chick Fil-A in a long time. One neighbor said the sandwich was super fresh as well... knocks my one star customer service review up to a 4. Good thing the food was superior. Anyhow this is why I am still giving the location 4 stars. I really hope what I experienced in Customer service today was a fluke.

ows a salad in a plastic container

I added the toppings with this photo so not a true comparison, but the chicken was shredded and seemed more plentiful. Line wrapped around to the gate, but I managed to get food before boarding which I did not expect.

There are about 10 parking spots in their lot, otherwise there is a good amount of street parking in the neighborhood. The ordering process is a bit chaotic; somethings from the menu are available by using the QR code at the table, but some things have to be ordered at the counter. I tried the chicken sandwich an and it was pretty good! I like the freshness of the pickled onions with the crispy chicken. Some of my friends got burgers and those looked good as well. It's a nice casual dive bar, and I would probably come back!

It's located conveniently on the way to the airport on Hiawatha, and has a nice sizable parking lot to make stopping here a breeze. You can either order at the front or at your table using QR codes. I hadn't been to this location but I had been to one of the others and so I had a good idea of what I was getting into. It offers a good place to hang out and talk while drinking a beer and having a munch. The food isn't mind blowing or anything but it's definitely solid for a bar restaurant. We decided to go with the vegan nachos (my friend is vegetarian) and they were really good. As a carnivore, the vegan chorizo was actually really good and I would get again.

The service was impeccable from start to finish. Everything felt really intentional and well timed. The food was outstanding. The rigatoni was a standout with an incredible sausage that was honestly to die for. We also had the soles de pollo, a chicken ravioli with fresh vegetables in the sauce, and the flavors were amazing. For tapas, we ordered the patatas bravas and rissoles, both were delicious. Such a thoughtful touch when they brought out churro bites at the end as a thank you. Amazing food, top tier service, and a really fun but romantic atmosphere. Definitely a spot worth going out of your way for

It is in the Mac-Groveland neighborhood so there is ample street parking nearby if you turn on any of the side streets. The restaurant does get busy at dinner, so I recommend making a reservation ahead of time. They have many unique options for cocktails and mocktails. I opted for the Slaychel which is a non-alcoholic beverage that I think of as an elevated mimosa. It is fruity, slightly tart, and delicious! The service was great! Our water was frequently refilled and never got empty, and our server asked about any allergies and dietary restrictions before we ordered. They were able to modify menu items to fit the different dietary restrictions! Two people in our party (including myself) are vegetarians and one member is gluten-free and also doesn't consume much dairy or eggs. They were able to serve the patatas bravas with the egg on the side and the grilled asparagus with the egg and cheese on the side so we were able to all share the starters. The patatas bravas were wonderful! The potatoes are perfectly crispy but still fluffy. The tomato sauce was slightly smokey and had a very slight kick (think Minnesota spice) and it balanced out well with the creamy tomato. If you're only going to try one appetizer, this is the one to try! The asparagus was also nice. The salsa verde had a slight kick (a bit more than the tomato sauce from the patatas bravas, but not super spicy. Still Minnesota level of spice). The shallots also added a nice crispy texture to the dish! The egg really stood out in this dish, with its runny yolk and batter coating. There were a lot of nice elements and textures. As for pastas, I split the Spaghetti and Radiatore with a friend. The Radiatore was nutty and tangy, and the serving size was generous. I enjoyed it, but I would order the Spaghetti over it any day! I don't even know how to describe the Spaghetti and do it justice. It was creamy, cheesy, delicious. Our server said it was a staff favorite, and I understand why. If you're looking for a vegetarian option, go with this one!! Even if you aren't a vegetarian, give it a try. It's so classic, and it's done so well. For dessert: they give free churros when you're dining in! They are served warm with a chocolate drizzle. We also ordered the Honey Cake which we enjoyed a lot! The cake itself was light, like a mousse. There was some crunch from the hazelnut praline and honeycomb toffee pieces. It was nutty and sweet but not overly sweet. It was a perfect way to finish off the meal! Estelle was delicious and the service was great! I can't wait to come back!

This place does get busy so definitely keep that in mind. Luckily I made reservations ahead of time so we had a table waiting for us, otherwise we would have been put on a waiting list since it's a small space. They put us in a corner booth which was nice and spacious enough for 4 people so I'd definitely recommend asking for a booth verse a table if you're planning to come with a larger group. The servers are all very friendly and helpful. I appreciated their attentiveness and sharing what they like best, especially for what's in season based on the time of year. The menu has quite a bit of variety too which is sometimes unexpected when you come to a pub-style location. For appetizers we got Onion Ring and Fried Pickles. They were both really good and served with dipping sauces. Definitely both shareable items so if you're in a group they'd be great options! My entree I chose the Wild Alaskan Sockeye Salmon served with lemon soy marinade, creamy cucumbers, and jasmine rice -- it was SO good!! I loved the creaminess of the cucumbers especially with the rice and than the lemon soy marinade was just a unique touch to the salmon. Toned the flavors down without overpowering acidity. And the salmon was so dreamy, a beautiful pink color that you just knew it wasn't a farm raised salmon. Plus the portion was very generous!! I'd definitely recommend the Alaskan Sockeye Salmon to anyone interested in visiting here. #eatwildsavewild The only negatives (which are more so just knowledge bombs for you): * Restaurant is VERY loud. It's hard to hear because it is one small room that everyone plus the bar is in. I wished I would have took a picture to show what I mean. Just know that if it's an intimate setting you're looking for this is not the place. So be prepared to talk loudly over the loudness and ask "excuse me?" or "repeat that" many times throughout your visit because you're not going to hear everything. * Timed eating. Because this place is a hit with limited seating, once you get a table and complete your meal/payment you'll kindly be asked to leave so that they can clean up and open the table to next in line. Totally get that and am not put off by this at all, but I could see how it could catch some folks off guard especially if you are out for a meal with folks you may not see frequently-- so just keep that in mind. This is not the place to sit and talk post meal. * Parking is limited. Be prepared to walk a few blocks as the road parking in front of the business is pretty limited especially with the other stores and restaurants in the area. Regardless of those few bullets I highly recommend folks visit George & The Dragon. It's a really cool spot and the food was great! Plus theirs a malt shop right next door that looks yummy too, so definitely worth visiting and getting malts after for dessert.
