I gotta stop believing yelp reviews. People want quantity over quality on this app and this place…read moreis a great example of that. There's nothing redeeming about this place. Yelp reviewers have no taste. They just want a slab of meat and they're all happy. I should've tried their sauces before I bought anything. The barbecue sauces were all ketchup based. They added in too much apple cider vinegar and the sauces were too viscous and runny. A good barbecue sauce has molasses, brown sugar, and tomato sauce not ketchup and white sugar which is what these were made from. I'd have been better off bringing in my own bottle of barbecue sauce from the grocery store. We ordered a half rack 6 ribs and two sides of coleslaw and potato salad. The coleslaw was runny and too liquidy. It had zero buttermilk in it. It was also made with apple cider vinegar which is a HUGE NO, NO. The potato salad was meh. No mustard. Just white potato salad. THEY HAD NO CORNBREAD! How much does a box of jiffy cornbread cost?!? Seriously, this business should NOT be in the rib business. The half rack of ribs: DRY, DRY, DRY. They were baked way too long. The ribs were flavor-less. I would not go back again. It's a huge shame for a rib joint to be this bad. The ribs were such a huge disappointment. Not even a smoked flavor was ever detected. I hope they don't go down the liquid smoke route either because that's just driving off a cliff at that point. I'm DONE listening to yelp reviews. Yall have no clue what you're talking about.

I've had two very different experiences here, back to back. Love the storefront so cute…read more First visit: The restaurant was fairly empty, and the menu looked so good it was honestly hard to choose. I ordered the Seoul Platter with extra wings. The platter included two drums, four wings, pork potstickers, bulgogi fries, and Korean street corn with coleslaw. Service seemed limited (it looked like only two staff members), but the food came out quickly and was excellent. Crispy wings, great flavor, and everything tasted fresh. That first visit left a strong impression. Second visit (the next day): The restaurant was much busier, and unfortunately, the service didn't hold up. I waited about 15 minutes just to be seated and never got the chance to place an order. Eventually, I had to leave, which was disappointing, especially since I enjoyed the food so much the day before. Overall: The food is really good and definitely worth trying, but service consistency needs improvement. I'm willing to give it another shot, just hoping for a smoother experience next time.

Food (4/5) Service (3/5) Ambiance (3/5) Chicken (5/5). A bit pricey for fried chicken but so tasty! I love the extra crunch from the double fried Korean chicken joints. My new fav sauce is the Korean BBQ with a tiny hint of spicyness, but my long time fav was the Soy Garlic. Hubby likes the Spicy sauce that I call "Korean Buffalo". Seasoned French Fries (5/5). We always opt for this when we come for lunch! MoPo Corn Dog (4/5). I love Korean Corn Dogs. It's mozzarella cheese inside with cubes or potatoes in the outer batter. Theirs is just ok, and the price is relatively low, so it's a 4 star in my book. Bulgogi Bibimbap (3/5) not the best Bibimbap I've had, but it was okay. Served in a hot stone bowl, but the flavors were just meh.

Checked out Toma Mojo yesterday and we will definitely be back!!…read more First off, we had like 10 star service, the gentleman working yesterday was absolutely amazing. The food was delightful! So many awesome side and sauce options. And great variety on the menu. I love that they have lots of healthy meals options, and also lots of good hearty options. The Piri Aioli was our favorite sauce. The seasoned fries and brava sauce were also something I could eat every day. The chicken was nice and tender and juicy. Prices and portions left us super happy. Super excited to come back and try some of their other options!

I stopped in for lunch on a Friday and it was a pretty easy experience to order, pay and pick up my order. I only had to wait about five minutes for my food. I wasn't sure what to get, because everything looked good, but I ended up getting the rancher salad, with a side of fries, Mojo green sauce and brava sauce. I really liked the flavor of the fries, they were hot and perfectly done, and liked the Mojo green sauce a lot! Would recommend! The rancher salad was good, full of great flavors, and the crispy chicken was so tasty. My only feedback was that the bowl was too full of spinach, that it made it impossible to mix my bowl before eating. I would definitely try Toma Mojo Grill again, as there's so many good looking things on the menu!

After seeing multiple reviews of this chain restaurant on TikTok, I was excited to give them a try!…read moreHowever my experience was nothing short of terrible! Located on the south side, 3rd floor. The first thing I noticed when I walked up was that they were out of so many items!! They had a tv screen with napkins blocking at least 3-4 items saying "sold out." I also noticed their fountain soda was sold out of every flavor except Starry and Pepsi. That's wild to me. This is the Mall of America! Despite being out of so many items, the item I was there for, was still in stock. I couldn't help but notice the counters were very dirty. The front of this place also had a lot of trash around it. The mall does get very busy, but this was not a good look, and there are plenty of food joints around here that looked clean. The girl who took my order was straight to the point, no greeting. Just "what do you want." I ordered a number one. This includes 6 wings a side of your choice and a beverage. Soy garlic seems to be the most popular, so I got that. The food was handed to me fairly quickly. But it was not what I ordered. I like a good bone in wing, and I was given the number 2- boneless wings.... Because I don't mind those, I didn't say anything and just took my food. Do not get the boneless! They are spongy, had dark meat in them and at one point I spit out the wing because it just tasted like old chicken! There was barely any sauce on the wings! The fries were standard. The starry tasted like cleaning chemicals and I did not drink it. May be the stand alone restaurants are better, but this was actually disgusting. I will not be returning to this location. Given the amount of food options, I'd say go ANYWHERE else!

My dinner was especially good....the chicken fried perfectly...all dark meat the way I like it. The potato salad was not what I expected but I was pleasantly surprised. I'm used to a mayo based potato salad but this was even better with lots of flavor! The corn was also delicious. Everyone was very happy with their dinners. The chicken and waffle dish was also good. Ratio of breading to chicken was perfect and perfectly seasoned. The honey butter that came with it was also delicious. The New Orleans shrimp bowl was great too. The ratio of shrimp, which was perfectly cooked, to rice was good. Lots of great flavor. I think that everyone in our party enjoyed what they ordered. The only "ding" would be the service. We had to ask for silverware so we could eat and had to wait for straws because she forgot. I'm still going to give it 5 stars even though the service was lacking a bit. She was very nice but seemed rushed.

I ordered the Social salad. It was good but the presentation was trash. I also got a cup of the She - Crab soup. It was also just okay and certainly overpriced. Husband got the Pork Belly Burnt Ends at my suggestion. He asked if they had sauce added to them and if so, to get it on the side. Our server said they are prepared and the sauce caramelizes so no, no sauce. He asked due to being a type 1 diabetic and needed to calculate his insulin. Well, they came out covered in fresh sauce and were too dry to swallow. There were six chewed up bits of pork left on his plate when it was cleaned away. The Texas toast was the only redemption. Lastly the two others shared the half bird entree. Presentation was haphazard and the chicken was visually dry looking. They ate most of it and said the biscuit and sweet potatoes were good. The food alone wasn't bad enough to keep me away; but combining it with the service was. Our server Laura (sp?) didn't make her debut well after we've been sitting 10 minutes. We were there at 5:30 on Sunday. It wasn't busy at all. She was very nice. Her second stop was to take our orders. Food runner came and asked if we needed anything else. I asked for water as my glass was bone dry (I even ate my ice) and others' were 1/4-1/3 full. She said she couldn't bring beverages. It's water...not vodka. Weird. So Laura eventually comes back and filled our drinks and left the bill. She did overhear the birthday happenings and was nice enough to offer a free dessert. She got her cash payment and we never saw her again. Maybe it was the end of her shift? It just felt off. The table next to us had quite a few complaints and had a different server, so maybe there was just a bad vibe with the staff today? Hopefully management can figure it out. Bathrooms were nice and decor was nice throughout the restaurant.

A great way to try out some Korean cuisine!…read more We were seated quickly and the waitress gave us enough time to look over the menu. We really enjoyed the Mandu dumplings, that are crispy and have a flavorful inside. The Korean fried chicken was also a hit. We got the bone in and enjoyed the K barbecue sauce style. But I actually liked the tofu soup and army stew. These soups were not very spicy, but had the spice of the Korean chili flake nicely infused to a flavorful broth. I'm a big fan of glass noodles so the army stew had some nice salty notes with the spam and hotdog. My friend liked the tofu soup and it came with three Bach Chan side dishes. Would be nice for them to have a bean sprout side but the vinegar dikon radish was good! The space was inviting but maybe too bright for me with the lighting. Overall would recommend! I have had many a tofu soups in the cities and i would say this one is my favorite!

The kimchi had a nice fermented tang, and the vinegar-pickled radish was crisp, refreshing, and perfect for cutting through the richness of the fried chicken. When I got there, it was closed. It was around 6 pm when I was in this area. Sadly, many fast food eateries have been closing early due to being short-staffed. I have driven by this KFC many times. I typically try and find eateries that I don't frequent back home. Then again, I haven't hit KFC much. I used to after work when I worked from the office. I hit this KFC's drive-thru to check it out. I had chicken tenders on my mind. However, when I spotted the mac and cheese combo with popcorn chicken on top, I knew that I had to order it. There was one car ahead of me. When it was my turn, I placed my order. I got a Diet Pepsi as my drink with this combo. I paid with a credit card. My meal was well under $9 with tax. I got my food pretty fast. I thanked the nice man and drove back to the hotel to eat in my room. I wish that KFCs in Canada had a mac and cheese bowl with popcorn chicken. I'd get it all the time! I absolutely loved this bowl. The mac and cheese was creamy and cheesy. The elbow noodles were perfect. I love the popcorn chicken at KFC. They were the perfect amount in this bowl to keep me happy and not pass out immediately on the couch. This combo came with a chocolate chip cookie. I liked getting dessert. It was the right amount of sweetness at the end of my meal. The Diet Pepsi was the perfect drink to wash everything down. I loved that my drink and my cookie had Kentucky Fried Chicken spelled out and the Colonel's mugshot on it. It felt like what I grew up seeing as a kid. Now, if KFC Canada would bring back the mixed salad with the corn kernels from my childhood, I'd be a happy camper! At least the coleslaw is no longer that weird green colour. I loved the mac and cheese bowl combo so much that I came back to get it my final night in Eagan before I returned home. It was comforting and yummy, which was what I needed that evening. It's sad to see such low ratings for this KFC. I had two great experiences. I hope to finally get a biscuit the next time I'm here. (25)
