The service is just not very good. I come here all the time, and every time I do a mobile order, I have to wait 15-20 minutes longer than the app says. Today, I walk in and the guy is yelling, "It'll be 10 minutes for any mobile orders, I haven't even started them yet." 5 minutes later, he says the same thing again. There were only 2 customers in here and 2 cars in the drive thru when I first arrived. Don't get me wrong, they look like they are working hard but he comes across so negative and frustrated. I just ate at KFC. The restaurant was super clean and the manager was fantastic. He asked me if I was willing to wait. Three minutes for fresh chicken and I said hell yes. Fresh chicken is amazing. He even checked on me after I was eating my meal just to make sure I was happy.. I've never received such good service before at KFC and I was so impressed that I felt like leaving a review. I haven't have KFC in a long time, and it was so disappointing. At the risk of being a Karen, mid is an understatement to describe the food. Fries were so small from when I remember eating KFC as a child and way too salty. The biscuit was dry af. My dog had trouble eating it. The mashed potatoes were watered down & gravy was salty as hell. Chicken was bland. The Diet Pepsi was good; I needed something to swallow the dry, salty food. 1/10 stars read more

This is the worst place to go, the chicken is always dry and tastes like you're eating cardboard. I recently went here for lunch because my daughter want to try their new smash potato bowl and the only reason why we went to this location was because it was close to where we were just coming from upon taking my order. We decided on fried chicken for Memorial Day and KFC is usually always good. We made the mistake of going to this location and wish we had read the reviews. They messed up one of the orders by giving us original and not crispy. Not a big deal but when we asked for it to be corrected, we got the corrected order dropped on the counter and he just walked away with no apology. Let me stress that they were not busy at all while we were there. We also asked for ice tea and they kept pointing to the big coke dispenser. We told them it wasn't there and they insisted it was. We stopped in for Original Recipe dine in. The restaurant was very clean and the dining room was homey and newly decorated. The food was fresh, hot, and better than expected. The service was the best we've experienced since Covid made everyone lose their manners. Wish we had one in League City. Highly recommended. read more

Went to this KFC last week, spent over $30. When I got home we noticed there were ants in the unopened cookies and in the chicken. We ended up throwing it away, wasting it!. Never got to eat it and enjoy it. I called down there and the manager when I told him about the ants, from the get go got really defensive and rude, started getting an attitude. The manager said "well the ants must be in your house" no they were not. The ants came out of the unopened cookies when we opened it and when we opened the chicken, they started coming out. I don't know how he is a manger with that short of a temper and doesn't know how to talk to customers. Worst experience! Drove all the way from League City because this is the closest location. Ordered an extra side, which by the way said $2.00 extra on the menu but when I got to the window, they said, "oh sorry it is supposed to say $3.00! No biggy...just suggested they change their price. Got home and NO EXTRA side that I ordered ( and paid more for than I should). When I called up there and told them I had just been there and they left out my side, she was very rude and said I could not get a refund on the phone...I had to come back in...tried to tell her it was too far to come back for that and she was VERY unwilling to help me or give me a refund! Stop by this location to get some lunch. I ordered the five chicken tenders combo ordered a side of macaroni and some fries. When I went home to eat my meal I open up the box to find the sides and biscuit there but there was no tenders. So I called them to let them know and they told me to come back and they were replaced by mail. When I got there the lady snatch the box out of my hand opened it and complain to her employee Saturday and put one piece of chicken in the box. Here I am once again at KFC in Dickinson. I walk inside, and I see (no exaggeration) 6 people waiting on there orders. So I order my food. Wait with the other and I notice how NO ONE the is making the orders are wearing gloves. The young girl in the drive through yells at the people as she's taking their orders. On top of everything as the 'manager' hands out the food to the people that are waiting he doesn't even apologize for taking forever.
