I have been to many KFCs in my life. Too many. The kind of number that says something unflattering about my life choices. But this Delaware Ohio location has made me a believer again. The place was clean. Like genuinely, unsettlingly clean for a fast food establishment. I did a sweep. No sticky floors. No mystery puddle by the drink station. Nothing. And the chicken was fresh. Actually fresh. Not "been under a heat lamp since the Obama administration" fresh. Not "we will describe this as fresh and pray" fresh. Fresh fresh. Colonel Sanders promised us finger lickin' good and for decades that has been more aspiration than reality. Delaware Ohio said hold my biscuit. This is the KFC the Colonel dreamed of before the corporation got involved. Go here. Make good choices for once. read more

The store just seems dirty and filled with clutter as if they're not expecting people to come in and eat. Food seem to be fine.

This location has a new GM, who is very customer oriented. My order was delayed by 10 minutes, and I was missing biscuits when I got the order. However, it was dinner time on July 4th-- every fast food joint is overwhelmed. The GM was front and center in every transaction while I was there and seemed supportive of his staff-- a refreshing change. He righted 2 wrongs and exceeded expectations of two customers while I was waiting, and helped two other customers. We will return! read more

So usually KFC is great like yay I got my macaroni my chicken and And usually pretty great customer service but the only downfall was when I got home I had a piece of black hair on my chicken and there was another one on my fries. KFC closes at 9:30pm. I ordered via doordash at 8pm. KFC randomly "closed" at 8:20pm, and cancelled my order. I will never order here again, and I will probably move away from Doordash at this point. Frustrating, and infuriating. read more

The KFC on Sandusky st Delaware ohio is the worst KFC I have ever been to. I went through the drive thru and ordered a piece tender combo and a 5 piece tender box meal. While sitting at the window for 10 minutes I had to listen to the employee at the window getting yelled at by another lady boxing the food. Which is really rude and embarrassing for the employee at the window. Then when I got home didn't even have the food that I order and it was literally disgusting. I will never eat there agin. read more

Went in on a Sunday evening and the place was packed. Son and I went in for buffet. I will say the food was really good however with all the employees they had working behind the counter, they should of been a little more attentive to the buffet and keeping the bins full. We were there for about 45 mins and right before we left they finally brought out more mashed potatoes. There were several people standing at the buffet waiting for other foods to be brought. I also went to the restroom. They need some serious work done in there....the toilet was loose and rocking, water was on the floor. To dry your hands with the dryer, you had to use your arm to keep it on. This location needs some work all around. read more

Yesterday I wasn't feeling my best but my family still needed to eat. So I ordered KFC to be delivered by a popular delivery option. Granted it was a little after 8pm. But that should NOT HAVE mattered. If they did not want the order, give me back the money, call/text me and I will move on. No problem. Did they do that? No sir! Instead they gave us not what we ordered. Oh no! They gave us whatever they felt like throwing in the bag. I ordered the 12 pc chicken planks (with honey mustard sauce) with sides of mashed potatoes and gravy with coleslaw, a BBQ chicken sandwich and fries with a large Sierra Mist, large lemonade and a large Mountain Dew. It asked for the option to include plates and I said yes bc that meant I didn't have to clean up after being sick all day. What did we get? The ONLY thing they got right was the mashed potatoes and gravy with the coleslaw and my husband's lemonde but they made it a medium instead of a large like we ordered. That's it. Everything else was wrong and I don't even get the only thing I wanted which was the Sierra Mist to settle my stomach. I have no words for a business that gets everything wrong but one thing except we won't be back! I spent over $50 ordering dinner so I could relax and it did the exact opposite. I tried all them immediately, no answer. I tried calling them several time today, no answer. My guess is they have a lot of angry customer calling so they just avoid the phone altogether. Don't waste your money going here. Cain's takes care of their customers and we have never had wrong order from them!!! read more

Don't make the mistake of ordering the dinner buffet after 7:30PM. It's not even close to being worth $9.00, the chicken trays were nearly empty, no original recipe or grilled pieces, and it was the driest, leathery chicken I've had in a long time. All of the food looked old, and was very unappetizing. The employees went over to the buffet looked at it, then walked away. Apparently they thought it was good enough. Then the booth I sat in was broken down, and I nearly fell into the seat because there was no cushion, just vinyl covering wood frame and a nothing in between. read more

Just moved to the area and stumbled on this KFC. I haven't had good KFC in years so I figured I would give this location a try. To be honest, the exterior needed some TLC and it worried me that the food wouldn't be all that, but I went through the drive thru anyway. The young man that took my order was helpful and courteous. We didn't have to wait but a couple of minutes for our order and our food was fresh and piping hot. We ordered drums and thighs, mashed potatoes and gravy and a side of slaw. The chicken was really good! Fried to perfection, not super greasy and skin was nice and crispy. All in all everything was very good and I'll definitely go back again. I never thought I would write a review for fried chicken from KFC but it was so tasty and fresh that I just had to share my experience. Too bad ALL KFC's aren't as good as this location. read more

I was hesitant to go to the KFC at this location because I have had bad experiences with some of the other fast food restaurants in that area. However, I had a large order and everything was PERFECT! Nothing was missing or sloppy or nasty. My meal was great! Keep up the good work! read more

this was probably the worst kfc i've ever been to in my life. my bread was musty tasting and dry. my chicken tasted like it was a couple days old. the floor was dirty and the whole place kinda had a dirty film on it. i'm only giving one star and that's because the mashed potatoes and gravy tasted great. read more

When I stop at KFC I always get the same value meal and a six piece chicken tender combo. Lately, it takes about 10 - 15 minutes to get from the speaker to the road because KFC is always out of chicken tenders. How can a place that only makes chicken run out of chicken, and on the last four visits? If you have extra time but don't want to cook I would get stop at KFC. If you are on the go or do not enjoy sitting in the car, but want chicken, there's a Long John Silver down the street. Same parent company, so it's not like you're cheating or anything. read more
