Came to town for Nike nationals and we decided on something familiar..KFC and let's just say we had the best service. Chicken was made fresh, I didn't mind the 10 min wait! Our cottage Grove Kfc used to be pretty good and we would enjoy occasionally going there. It's really hot tonight and we didn't want to cook so I thought we would give it a try again last time we were there. They screwed up our order this time. The food was just terrible. The chicken was way overcooked almost to the point where it was black in spots the fries were soggy, and the bowls were so salty. You couldn't even eat them. bought the box 2 days ago for a family of four to eat. The chicken tasted funny. it was a total waste of money. their are some items missing as they were thrown in the garbage and I did not want to dig them out. but I have a picture of the chicken breast and what was still in box. The chicken breast did not have very much meat on it, it was mostly batter and lots of fat. big chunks of fat. my dogs liked the chicken minus the fat n batter. The chicken nuggets were for a 6 year old child and chicken nuggets are her favorite food. But KFC nuggets she would not eat them. Everything but the mash potatoes n gravy were gross. Kayla is the general manager here. I have to say that I have not had KFC hitting on all 6 cylinders like this in YEARS. They had the best service I've ever had, bringing our food out to us, noticing I was trying to get into the locked bathroom and Kayla provided the code without me even asking. They are paying attention to their customers and trying to anticipate their needs. The chicken was hot and moist, restaurant and bathroom nice and clean. Well, dang, what else can I say? KFC in Cottage Grove is great place to get a bucket of chicken. Every time I have been there they are always clean, friendly, helpful and right on point. I go there looking for the best chicken I can get and thats pretty much what I get. I suppose I have to say that the side dishes that they offer such as the mashed potatoes, popcorn chicken or the rolls are something you might find in an instant box of some kind but hey, the reason I go there is for the super delicious buckets of fried chicken which, since thats all I go there for, more than makes up for it in my book. read more

one of the best kfc places our normal stop when we are on the freeway. excellent food and hot. the chicken is awesome the chicken pot pie is awesome as well in fact that area around it has a number of choices for fast food as well which makes it nice. but do prefer this kfc over any just miss the buffet when they had it. can get loud when busses of sports teams stop by and eat and the dinning room is small but over all love this place read more
