12/06 the night team didn't want to make any of my order because "they close in 15mins" which was 2 chicken littles and a famous bowl, just already complaining that they close in 15mins but I'm sure they could've dropped what was needed and made my order in those 15mins. Imagine waiting 15+ minutes for freshly cooked fried chicken and some delicious sides for dinner. That's not what you will get when you come to this location. Expect long wait times and not very fresh food here. The corn and Mac n cheese were horrible and inedible. The dark chicken included a dry breast piece. I gave one star because Yelp forces me to. I really give them no stars at all. I ordered $80 worth of food yesterday. Two Fan Favorite Boxes with chicken, nuggets, fries, and waffles. I get home and they ripped me off 24 CHICKEN NUGGETS. That really ticked me off. I buy fast food once a week, cuz whoever heard of fast food for four is almost a hundred dollars. So I will say this. This store is okay however they are very shady. So I do the surveys every time so I can get a free chicken sandwich, and being on a budget it works for me. They realize that I am visually impaired/blind but I have great perrefreal vision. So with every order you get a survey code. They know this. Well the manager rang me up a d kept the first receipt (which had the survey code) printed another receipt and gave me the second receipt without the survey. I ordered two orders so I should have gotten 2, but she kept them. They figure we do not know how it works but I worked in fast food. This burns me up because as she walked away i noticed they didn't have surveys so before I could ask for the first receipts she threw them in the trash. It is not my fault your store gets crapoy surveys and you do not want people doing but they are there as a teaching tool. And this is a manager doing it. Very sad. I actually would have given them a great job but because they cheated me. Well that is not right. I went to the KFC on Staples to get a $20 fill up. I asked if they had any chicken that just came up the cashier Emily said yes it just came up. Got home eight minutes later chicken was soggy. an old call the store the manager Kimberly stated if I bring it back she will replace it and because you wanted it drop fresh it will be a 25 minute wait even though I asked for fresh chicken when I ordered.I told her I can't bring it back today. In the 25 years living here in Corpus I've never experienced worse service than here. I went to order a 4 piece tender, Mac n cheese, and mash potatoes. They only had 3 tenders left and seemed clueless to what they should do. I suggested that they substitute a leg or something. So they did and when I got my order not only was my chicken cold but the leg was a pathetic excuse for a chicken leg. Thin as a drumstick plus they didn't give me any of my sides. Before I left I realized I didn't receive a drink so I sat and waved at them in the window for a few minutes while one of the workers casually mops and watches me wave. The manager came up eventually and I questioned her after I got my drink. I told her I've never been so disappointed in a food chain in Corpus. I worked fast food for years at management level and seeing the manager/ownership run a business like this is embarrassing. They close at 10 but they're already all cleaned up and ready to leave at 9:20. Food must be ready to serve until closing. Families rely on places like this staying open and being able to feed there family when they come to order. I'm never going to this place again and I don't recommend it to anyone. read more

I ordered a #5 which ordinarily comes with 2 pieces of chicken, a biscuit, a drink, a cookie, and an 8oz mashed potatoes with gravy. When I brought my order home and was ready to dig into the potatoes i found out that it was just a cup full of gravy and nothing else. I have no idea how they managed to pull off such an oversight, but I went back to the KFC with my receipt and cup of gravy and asked the girl at the counter for some mashed potatoes to go with it. THEN they tried to stiff me on the amount of potatoes, coming back to the counter with some dinky little 4oz container. I turned it away and insisted I get the 8oz potatoes that I paid for. Finally the girl returned to the counter with the appropriate amount of potatoes (I even double-checked before leaving), and she gestured to the cup of gravy and asked ME "What should we do with this?" Girl, I don't know--that's YOUR cup of gravy now. By the time I got back home my food was cold. Ridiculous. read more
