The order was incomplete. We were missing the fries, the freebie mashed potato bites that inspired us to order in the first place, and 3 of the correct sauce packets. When I called to *politely* request a redelivery of the missing item (because, hey, mistakes happen), they picked up the phone and just put it on the counter. I had to call back 5 more times to get them to pick up (they kept hanging up the phone). On the sixth call, I spoke to a young man who said he was the manager. He kept trying to talk over me. I reminded him this would go a lot faster if he would stop interrupting. (Not once did I swear or even raise my voice.) I mentioned the annoyance of them hanging up, and he interrupted again to say that wasn't his fault. (Young man, I don't care about who did it. I care that it was bad service at your store, period.) The only mildly unfriendly thing I said was that I was unhappy about the failure to answer the phone and that I'm retired and I've got all night to keep calling back, so avoiding me doesn't work. I made a request for a redelivery; he shifted the problem to DoorDash if I didn't want to drive over and pick up the missing items. (After paying about $6 for delivery plus an $8 tip to the delivery driver, who is named April.) So instead of listening to his interruptions and unhelpful comments, I hung up. Then I texted the issue to DoorDash's help desk. They told me they would not refund the tip or have the missing items delivered. They gave me a 15% refund ... which will process in 10+ days. That doesn't cover either the tip or the cost of the missing items. TL/DR: Don't order from the KFC at 1295 N. Germantown Pkwy, Cordova, TN. And don't use DoorDash. We paid over $50 for the food, delivery, and tip, and this was a terrible experience. read more

Attitude sucks! Food was good and fresh, but that attitude is not worth another visit. I pulled up to the window and the lady had the worst attitude saying "KFC" there was no "welcome to KFC" "How may I help you?"...just a harsh KFC. SMH. I was at the location in Cordova on Germantown Parkway, Sunday around 11:30 to pick up some chicken tenders for my daughter. There were about five people waiting on the inside to get there. They were serving the drive-through but told us they had no chicken available yet. I waited in line 28 minutes to get three chicken tenders. That were about the size of my thumb and overcooked. I only give 1 star because I can't review with zero stars. Horrible. Went to lunch there today. It took 25 minutes to put our order in; there were only 2 people ahead of us in line! Others who walked in after us decided to go across the street to Another fried chicken restaurant because the wait was forever. I could only see 4 employees in the entire place. They charged the wrong amount on the cash register and then couldn't seem to give one customer the correct price. We were told they didn't have any broiled chicken, but then they did, but then it was SO GREASY it's as if they deep fat fried it rather than broiling it, I literally had grease running down my arms. This particular KFC on N. Germantown Parkway in Cordova TN needs some extreme help with management. I can't believe they can stay open like it is. Corporate management needs to get fresh management in place for this location or shut it down. This was the worst ever experience I've ever had there. Now that I come to yelp to give a review and see that they have an average of 1.5 stars, I'm not surprised at the awful management. Went through the drive through- ordered a 12 pc hot wings , order of Fries, and a chicken little. Then use the coupon at the bottom of the receipt and got the chicken sandwich. This place is hit or miss, but the last time I went I was so disappointed, I have to write about it. I had to wait forever in line, so you'd think the food would be fresh. Not so. I got a famous bowl and a biscuit. My biscuit wasn't bad, but my famous bowl (I just got the original one with the mashed potatoes and brown gravy) had clearly been made hours before. The chicken was no longer crispy and everything was kind of congealed together. When I got it home I was shocked that it wasn't pitched, it was so nasty. I don't want KFC very often but that just about killed my desire to ever go back again, because I don't want to pay good money for something that's obviously been prepared hours before. I went here on a whim on my lunch break today. It's KFC. They're legally obligated to not use "chicken" in the title anymore so the abbreviation sticks. I tried the "I ate the BONES!" chicken today. What can I say? I'm a sucker for good marketing. However, I left unimpressed. I got the 3 piece white boneless meal. The chicken came out in the original recipe and it was less than pleasing to the eye. The girl that took my order was very polite however so I didn't say anything. The chicken looked and tasted old. Not fresh. Had it been fresh out of the grease, I'm sure it would have been better. White meat drys out quickly. Maybe next time, if there is a next time, I'll order the dark meat. Less likely to fail, I hope! So my 3 stars is for the service but the food was 1 star at best. KFC has really went down hill. They never have any baked chicken, and if you happen to come when they have baked chicken, rest assure it's dried out. One night they didn't have any chicken. How do you run out of chicken at a chicken place. Very high turnover. You will never hardly see the same employees or mangers working there more than a month. What a shame. I went to get a 4 piece meal as I always do but when I approached the speaker and began to place my order not only was I greeted rudely but I was cut off in the middle of me placing my order. Ghetto and rudeness at its best at this location. I don't know if this was a regular employee or the actual manager on duty but either way that location has a lot of cleaning up to do and I'm not talking about the restaurant itself. Ordered the famous bowl that is supposed to come with potatoes, chicken, corn and gravy. The family ordered 3 bowls and a two piece, the bowls came with all ingredients, but the gravy had to be searched for as there was such a small amount. Wife told me the women's bathroom was dirty, smelled bad as if someone had just went even though there was no one in there. The lobby was also very dirty, even though there drive through was very slow and the lobby being almost empty. Gave them one star since yep wouldn't let me give any less, but they deserve much less. Went again this weekend because I just had to have some more, and it was horrible! Now, it was after 9 when I went, but if I'm spending almost $30 on chicken, I want what I paid for! I am not sure how but I would not even give this a full star. The food was cold, they were very unfriendly, they told me to park and bring out the food, 15 minutes later they finally brought it out. The portions were skimpy as they put the mashed potatoes and gravy in the same container instead of separately, the mac and cheese was filled 3/4 full. Received a call today for a suggestion I sent August 2nd. He apologized foe the service and offered me a free 3 piece meal. So my wife and daughter was hungry I went out to get it. I was getting the 3 piece for me and a pot pie for my wife. They were out of pot pie and would of been 25 minutes. Which considering I was in there for over 20 minutes waiting to finish my order I guess I could of waited. The cashier who was also the manger left to go help drive thru part way through my order. 5 drive thru cars left 2 more costumers walked in behind me never greeted. He never came back. I left called and guess who I got. He refused to give me his name and kept asking if I was this guy who worked (usha or something like that) there when I wanted to talk to the manger who had originally called me. He finally set the phone down and walked away. I could still hear everything. KFC can post the security camera. I was the one at the counter with my 1 year old waiting to finish placing my order for well over 8 minutes. I was not the only person who walked out but considering by time I pulled out he still hadn't come back they wouldn't know that. Oh for the 1 star they at least had chicken this time. They have been out of chicken on at least two occasions. Considering this was the second chance visit the manger asked me to do. It wont have a third at this location. read more
