Make sure you swap the fries for large as it is free for either size. Super easy ordering system through the app. Order and cross your fingers that it's all correct when delivered. My boys enjoyed their meal with plenty of leftovers for later. The nuggets were a bit bland and the tenders were crispy, although a bit on the dry side but nothing sauce can't take care of. The meal came with 6 sauces so I ordered one of each because why not? They did not provide any napkins and only 2 forks. I can't imagine this is a meal for 2 people. There was so much food. Went through the drive through, the girl on the headset taking the order was very rude. No "Hello, how may I help you?" it was "What do you need?" in a very discourteous tone. Gave attitude and almost made me feel dumb just trying to order 2 simple meals. Thought I was waiting the 15 minutes for my 2 meals, just to get home and have 2 fries and ONLY 1 sandwich. I called, and the person I spoke to on the phone also had that very sour attitude and wouldn't let me speak to a manager. Don't come here unless you are ready to be leaving agitated with the poor customer service. Edit: It's the next day, and the manager that I spoke to was being super rude to us, not a welcoming tone. Didn't do anything to try and resolve the previous issue. DO NOT GO HERE unless ready to be treated as if the employees view you as a disgrace. I am not an inconvenience to you, you're getting payed to give bare minimum service to customers and not even that can be done. I went to KFC, the Hwy50 location in Clermont, Fl for lunch. We walked into heavy metal music blaring which was later turned to a Hispanic radio station. Neither of those were appropriate for a restaurant. we self ordered and waited quite awhile for our order. None of the employees had a sense of urgency nor did they even acknowledge us. We have been many times before, it was always a pleasant experience, however we will not be returning! I looked around for owner/management info, but there was nothing posted. We visit this location often and always order the same thing. A 1 piece breast with mashed potatoes and slaw. Have been getting it here for 3 years. Tonight the girl who was taking the order questioned us over and over about what we wanted. When we got our meals we each had a thigh, one meal had mashed potatoes and the other one had slaw. Tonight only deserved 1 star, but when we got to the window the young lady was friendly and polite. This KFC is deserving of five stars, but since its a fast food joint you gotta drop a star, right? We went inside to order our take out evening meal, my wife and I were pleasantly surprised to see their specials written on a chalk board, you wouldn't be able to see this from the drive through. With that said, our meal was planned for us as we both love dark, what a deal $6.99 for seven pieces, make it a whole meal for $12.99 we got one of each for leftovers. The place was clean, the employees were friendly and courteous, the self serve bar was neat and tidy, what more can you ask for from a fast food joint? Oh, the chicken was finger lickin good, it's KFC it has to be! Traveling solo I was double hungry. Driving from West coast to East coast it was time to fuel up. I spotted this KFC's sign with those words every man wants to see. BUFFET! Truthfully, I don't do much fast food or buffets anymore. But I saw some Colonel's Extra Crispy Fried Chicken in my near future! The food? What you'd expect at a KFC. Good, flavorful and with the buffet....plentiful! No problem here! What I'm really excited to write about was the KFC Krew! The folks behind the counter! This was THE most involved and enthusiastic team I've seen working in a very long time! First up? The girl at the register seemed to love her job. The guy working the chicken coops(where they put the freshly cooked hot chicken) asked me what pieces did I want? I told him proudly "Extra Crispy breast". He knowingly responded back with "You want two?" (How'd he know?) "Yessir", I replied. Wow! As I'm enjoying my meal in the dining area, which I really did, I'm really enjoying watching this team in action. They treated every customer with respect and as a valued customer! Now here's the best part! The buffet closes at 8pm. I watched two healthy and hungry looking young guys walk in the door. I knew they were the 'Pile it high kind of buffet guys'! However, I noticed it was almost 8:15 pm. I was expecting to see some VERY unhappy faces walk right back out empty handed and empty stomached! But NO! The woman, whom I later found out makes some mighty fine bread pudding, told these hungry fellas to enjoy the buffet! Then chicken coop guy asked them what pieces of KFC cookery did they want? (And, I was right! These guys carried two plates each out to the dining room. More chicken than a whole family typically would eat!) Back to the bread pudding. That kind woman told me she had a special dessert freshly made. She brought me a heaping helping of Heavenly goodness and hinted to try it with some banana pudding on top. I did. I'm glad. I'm happy! As I was leaving, I stood at the register. They all looked at me in wonder. I just stood there. Then, I pointed. You, register girl. And you, chicken coop guy. And yes, you, bread pudding/buffet ain't closed lady. They walked towards me, not sure what was happening? I felt the urge, no, the necessity to commend these fine folk on a job well done! Swung by KFC after my mother was craving some KFC. We decided to pick up a bucket for the family. I was appalled by the price a 12pcs bucket chicken only was $21.99 plus tax, I asked the drive through employee twice thinking he made a mistake. That is $1.75 per piece of chicken. He reconfirmed and told me the 12 bucket meal was $30 plus tax. I was shocked because I know the quality of this specific KFC chicken. When we got home and ate the chicken the outside was fully cook but the inside was not. The chicken had a really dark color making it look like it was under the heating lamp all day. After eating the chicken I felt upset. With the prices and the quality you get, save your money and get publix fried chicken or popeyes. Dry over cooked chicken at 5 pm on Sunday evening. Publix has much better fried chicken. I would rather wait than get old precooked chicken from a hot box. I remember going to a KFC buffet as a child in the 90's and getting fat on a gallon of mashed potatoes as a highlight of my uninspired youth, and thought I'd relive the experience. What I got instead was a large assortment of vaguely green vegetables floating around haphazardly in vegetable water, cold mashed potatoes, and a few dishes cobbled together from chickens of days long gone. If you go within the last hour of being open you can count on them to be out of at least half of the menu items. I have written to KFC multiple times without any return correspondence. Very rude! Poor customer service. The person taking my order seemed annoyed and started arguing with me when I asked for gravy. Then he wanted to charge me for gravy when we all know that mashed potatoes always comes with gravy. He raised his voice and seemed violent (like he wanted to reach into my car). This was my second time going to them and I thought it would have been different this time but it was much worse. They are terrible and do not know how to treat customers. I really do miss the original original recipe... you know, the one that was put into a pressure cooker and was fully cooked, but tender and juicy as it gets. It was not crunchy, but soft and all the flavors were melded so perfectly. I just don't eat there much anymore. I get cravings for it, but when I go, I get so disappointed. It's always very nasty, the food is never fresh, and the service has been awful every time I've gone. I went with my husband one time and as we pulled up one of the employees was sitting outside smoking a cigarette with some food gloves on, she then goes inside and starts wiping down the buffet with the same gloves on.
