I stopped here on the way to golf and simply did not want any burger/fries meal. The chicken is delicious! I happened to order the chicken sandwich which is served on a soft bakery style bun and a slaw type topping. The Chicken was nice and crispy on the outside and moist delicious inside. The fries were no joke, they were surprisingly very good too. The price is very reasonable for a meal or stay alone item. The service very friendly and fast. For me ...I thought that it was exceptionally tasty and the freshness put it over the top. Even though I really liked it I am not a fried chicken fan so I looked to my daughter and son-in-law for their opinion. They LOVED it and would gladly return. I decided to support a small business that I had heard had some of the most fantastic fried chicken which I haven't had in quite some time... I decided to drive the 35 minutes from four corners Clermont to Groveland, The wait probably wasn't any more than 15 minutes and I accidentally drove by the ordering speakers since they were on the side of the menu which was not clearly visible. I wasn't sure what to do because as I saw a couple of the workers coming out and taking orders before the ordering speakers and then they would disappear so I drove around the building because no one ever came back out...a lady came out the back door and took my order because she told me I passed The speaker system. When I got to the window and paid I saw the girl bagging my chicken ..she's not wearing a mask or wearing gloves... I asked her why she wasn't wearing gloves or a mask and she said I'm not preparing the food... I said I just saw you put my boat of chicken in the bag so your hands definitely touched the boat. She apologized and said she wasn't told she had to wear PPE. I feel like they should be honoring what should be a restaurant code especially during the pandemic... I was very happy that she was polite either way and so was the lady who took my money... The food is great I got a five piece chicken and I also got okra (not seasoned but breaded) and then I got fritters thinking that they were like hush puppies (silly for me to assume)... They were apple fritters and absolutely delicious so I definitely have enough for dessert tonight because they're huge and there were about 10 pieces in there, my bill wasn't any more than $15.
