We walked in at 11:15a on a Saturday. Not a single person in the parking lot or inside. The young man comes out to the counter from the back. He was literally the only employee. We asked him if the chicken was fresh. He looked over to the warmer, hesitated and said yes. I said oh well if you're not going to make fresh chicken, then we don't want it. I knew better, I knew better. I got into Cleburne late last night and was hungry so I decided to use Grubhub for delivery since it works with my Hilton Honors. I looked at the restaurants available that were still open - all fast food - and I should have went with Taco Bell. But wanting something different, I went with KFC and a hot bites bowl. Oh the disappointment! KFC famous mashed potatoes with some corn, shredded cheese and 5 mini sized nuggets, hence the name "bites". No gravy on the taters to help out on the taste. No salt/pepper pack to help with the taste. Nuggets that you might find on a toddler meal. And no heat - scoville or taste. Thank goodness the microwave worked. As I said, I knew better. read more

I know this is a new location so I will be gentle . First off please please please get shades for the windows . It was so hot in there yesterday that we couldn't enjoy our meal . I understand long lines as that happens when a business opens and the new manager and employees but you have had months to train these individuals before opening a restaurant. While we strive to please everyone that comes thru it's not always going to be a perfect visit we are not perfect just like any other food establishment in town we try very hard to make sure our food is fresh and while some always have something to say we always welcome feedback, compliments,or even a suggestion we know it's uncomfortable in our place cause it's hot but our boss is trying to get us going we want everyone to enjoy our food and be happy with our service but I wanted to share this a customer said there was polyester cooked on her chicken the picture below is our KFC product the cooks use those towels to pull the racks that comes out of 325°oil to place the fresh chicken on the pans that goes in our warmers all our products that we use all have time tags we have sinks for us to wash and sanitize our hands in almost every corner of our store some not visible to customers we get inspected by the city,KFC inspectors ,and a third party inspector all the time that is a requirement. We don't use food that falls on the floor nor do we feed customers bad stuff It doesn't work that way, old managers bad reviews shouldn't be based on the new crew now that is just trying to work and make a living we should all support our town and let us know how we can improve so we can share feedback with our bosses read more

Went by a couple of times when it first opened. Manager seemed more interested in the waitress than customers. Ordered fried chicken which tasted like it was cooked the day before. Dry and over cooked. Next time I got their bowl. In Burleson the bowls were full, this one was only half full and didn't have the flavor. I heard that they have new management so I don't know if it's any better. read more

Let me start with this, I am a huge fan of KFC I mean who doesn't love chicken and mashed potatoes. But this place is fantastic such a friendly group of people who make sure your order is correct and will fix it if not. They just recently opened so there are the few expected hiccups but overall a fine establishment! read more

This KFC is miserly with its portions and the food quality is poor. I ordered the 16 piece family meal with four large sides. The large sides are only large if you fill up the container with food. A large Mac and cheese container that is only 1/2 to 1/3 full represents a very poor value. The mash potatoes must not come with gravy anymore as we didn't receive any. The corn had hard dried pieces and must have been sitting out all day. For almost $50 you would think they could do better - Very disappointing!!! read more

Their chicken is by far the best in Cleburne and they're always fast for me. However today I asked for just a sandwich with water and I got charged $2 for a bottle of water. I assumed the water would've been a free or at least a 25 cent cup of water. My order came out to almost $8. If I knew I would've been charged for the water I would've gotten the combo instead. read more
