It's KFC, keep that in mind. I love pot pies. Flaky crust warm drippy filling, veggies and chunks of chicken. KFC's offering checks all of these boxes in presenting a production version of this dish. Is it the best I've ever had? Probably not, but it's more than acceptable for the flaky crust and the flavor of the chicken. This is my first KFC chicken pot pie and I'm sure that, I'll probably do it again. Kudos to the counter person who suggested that I asked for my root beer float after I get done, so it's not just sitting on the table in front of me. And yes, it's a fast food restaurant, don't expect tablecloths in women napkins - but it's a good environment to eat a decent meal in. read more

Placed the order then went to the drive thru to pick it up. Get the food fast enough and service is pleasant. Food is KFC and there's no quality difference between this location and the other one we've used. My bigger issue is not getting sauces. It's definitely industry standard to stiff people on this but we don't have those sauces we ordered (we do pay for it after all since you're supposed to get these with certain items). We went to this location a bit later in the day but not at close. ordered a famous bowl, 2 large root beers and a fry. the service was terrible, the drive through lady couldn't understand English because I clearly said my order. As soon as we get to the window to pay they instantly ask us to park in the front even though there was zero customers inside or cars in the drive through. that's fine but I had to wait 20 minutes before they brought out a bag with fries and a bowl, I had to ask for our drinks, then waited for them to grab the drink and they brought out a medium root beer (not what I ordered and only 1) I told the person who came out that we had 2 drinks so then they went inside and never came back out. I tried to go inside after another 5 minutes of waiting for a drink but the door was locked 2 hours before close. I waited for them to bring out another order and tried to speak to the lady saying we were waiting for another drink even though it wasn't large I didn't care. She then started to say that we didn't order 2 drinks and we only ordered 1 meal, which I never said in the drive through. when I tried talking to her she just ran inside and closed the door behind her while I was trying to talk to her. Of course they don't give us any receipt in the bag but I have my card statement that says I paid $14.19. which means they put in my order as a famous bowl combo (medium drink) not what I said and just added on the large fry. Please have people that speak English when ordering because I never said combo and clearly stated 2 large root beers which was the main reason we came here. If the order was ordered wrong that would be fine and I would just order another drink but the communication was terrible and we waited for 30 minutes there and when we tried to understand what went wrong she ran away from us closing the door behind her. i hope this will change because it's the only close location. read more

Wow, I love the Colonel's Cole Slaw, always have. And Cole Slaw's something you can mess with in the size category without making the container smaller. I order the slaw and four thighs. When I got home I opened the box with the thighs. Took my breath away. I felt robbed, literally. I bought the chicken and slaw so I would not have to cook dinner for my wife and I. Now I literally have to come up with something. The four thighs are an appetizer. A small one. I'm shocked. How could an employee do this without speaking up? I called the restaurant and talked to a manager and she apologized and said when that happens they're supposed to add a piece. Honestly, one more piece this size would probably serve one but not this one. She offered to replace the chicken which was nice but I think this points to a corporate purchasing problem.
