It was quite challenging to use. I paid for my order and no receipt. When I asked for one the cashier said it must be out of paper. And that's it! No attempt to get me a receipt. There was a line behind me so I didn't push for it. My order was delivered to the table and I noticed bacon on my salad. But when you see the wacky inflatable arms guy waving outside, you'll know you've arrived at Tasty Bowl. If you visit, you'll probably meet him too since he's always there making sure every customer is well taken care of. Raj is one of the most friendly, caring, and genuine people I've ever met. We ended up talking for over two hours about food, life, and world issues. He's the kind of guy you could've spent hours on the phone with as a kid, chatting away on a corded landline in the '90s. The story behind Tasty Bowl is just as unique as Raj himself. While on vacation in Jamaica, he hired locals to cook for him during his stay. He was so inspired by their flavors and techniques that when he returned to the U.S., he decided to transform his sandwich shop into what is now Tasty Bowl. After testing out his new creations with customers, they told him he needed to start serving these bowls full-time, and just like that, Tasty Bowl was born.
