After checking the ratings online I figured I would give it a try. Service was friendly & food prepared fresh while I waited. I got 3 different tacos on corn tortillas to go. I highly recommend this little diamond in the rough!

I ordered the lunch special with two tacos (pastor & chicken) and swapped the beans for rice. It was my first time trying pastor, and wow--I was genuinely impressed. The meat was tender, juicy, and packed with a smoky, slightly sweet, and savory flavor that really stood out. Definitely a 5/5 for the pastor taco. The chicken taco was decent--well-seasoned, mildly juicy, and satisfying, but not quite as bold or memorable. I'd give that one a 4/5. One thing I really appreciated: the meat didn't have that dry, overcooked texture you sometimes get at other taco spots. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. My partner ordered the carne asada plate (charbroiled fajita steak with pico de gallo, avocado, rice, and tortillas, with beans swapped for extra rice) $15.99. He said the steak was nicely charred, tender, and full of rich, savory flavor with just the right amount of seasoning. The plate was filling and well-balanced, and he gave it a solid 4/5. Overall, a great lunch spot with fresh ingredients, quick seating, and flavorful food. We'll definitely be back!

Let me start with the positives because there are definitely some. The patty melt was excellent. Perfectly toasted bread, good flavor, and exactly what you hope for when you're craving one. The onion rings were also fantastic. Crispy, well seasoned, and honestly some of the better fast-food onion rings I've had in a while. The staff member who brought the order out curbside was also very friendly and polite. No complaints there at all. Service was quick and the interaction was pleasant. Now for the reason this lands at three stars instead of five. I ordered a large onion rings and was given a medium. Normally that might seem like a small mistake, but in an era where fast food prices keep climbing, getting shorted on the size you paid for feels a little unforgivable. When you order a large, you expect a large, not a "close enough." So overall: great patty melt, amazing onion rings, friendly staff... but the order accuracy needs to match the price we're paying. Get that part right and this easily jumps a couple stars next time.

Some kind of distractions are occurring all over the restaurant because no one seems to have any speed to service. Won't deter me from going still, but just tempers my expectations

Before, they had shallow bowls and smaller portions but they upgraded to a deeper/bigger bowl and bigger portion sizes. It's super easy to order here. Just pick your flavor profile, the base (greens, brown rice, or half and half), and protein. My favorite flavor is still the Chipotle Mango Avocado. I love the creamy chipotle sauce. And they give more of the avocado mixture now. It has black beans, red onion, corn, cheese in it. For proteins, I love the shrimp and tofu. The tofu is a great vegetarian option. This is my favorite location too. It's spacious (also has an outdoor dining area) and very clean.
