The food was good, the staff friendly, service was quick. They have new management now and it made a HUGE difference. We stopped dining here over a year ago, and recently gave them another chance. Both myself and spouse are glad we did! The staff frequently are out cleaning the dining area, music is appealing. read more

Wow!!! What happened to KFC? I went to KFC Buford Dr. The store has an A on cleanliness. The food was horrible. I went about 11:30 in the morning. I ordered 2 piece breast and wing combo meal. The chicken was like warm almost cold, the fries was definitely stale. The customer service was great!! I haven't been there in a couple years and that's why. Over the years I been wanting them but never went back until today. That's it never again will they get my money. What happened to the original recipe of the chicken? read more

I visit this location often, and I usually have one or two things missing from my order. I went today and they forgot my gravy. luckily, I checked the bag, and I asked the manager for some gravy and this is what he gave me. Five dollars in some change for this half full portion. Very disappointing. read more

KFC - Fries and chicken from 1993 - Fast Food Near Me - Buford, Georgia

I rarely stop into a KFC, but something had me craving their chicken today - and I was in a hurry. I also rarely post anything about fast food; a: because I shouldn't be eating it and b: I don't go all that often. However, on this occasion I was really impressed with the quality of the service and the food. I stopped in and was greeted with a smile and an enthusiastic salesperson. They took my order, offered an alternative with a slight up-sell and overall my fries were fresh and hot as was the chicken. I would definitely go back to this location. read more

This place has been going down hill a-lot The last year. Every time we show up for lunch there is an issue. Drive through not working because the system is down. This has probably happened 6 times or so. Customer service is azz, when the managers show up they are top notch though. Drink fountains didn't work today and had multiple people complaining. I ordered the new bbq sandwich and the un trained lady at the front desk ask me if that was the chicken little. No fault to her but you should probably train employees better. Also your sandwiches shouldn't come out absolutely soaked in grease. I will not be returning to this location. read more

I just came to this KFC to pick up an order and they had told me someone else already picked up the order and that it's been gone for 45 minutes and I texted the person I was picking up the order for and he had told me that he did not receive his order and the KFC to the drop off was only 10 minutes away which means that the person who picked it up stole it and when I went back inside the KFC so the person I was delivering for can talk to the manager once I went in KFC i don't know if it was the manager or a employee but he thought I was calling the restaurant and I told him no and then I was going to tell him that the customer that order the food wanted to talk to him and he didn't even let me speak and he yelled at me saying I can't remake the order for you it's against our policy whoever the order was for needs to call uber so they can handle it cause we can't remake the food and it's not our fault they need to talk to whoever they order it from and everyone was just looking at me while he was yelling at me and it was embarrassing for me cause I didn't even do anything and later on I see that they gave a person the wrong order they have poor service in that KFC and they are disrespectful and don't know how to talk to customers properly so I wouldn't recommend people coming to this KFC. read more

I only gave them one star just to put this review, this place is pathetic I went though the drive through order 1 breast meal with 2 sides and a biscuit and 3 chicken sandwiches lady who was running drive thru with no uniform that says kfc said I didn't hear what u said after the breast meal so I repeat myself to her 1 breast meal and the 2 sides and the 3 chicken sandwich's so I hand her my card she ask me to pull around because chicken sandwich's were gonna be 3 min to cook , ok no problem so I pull to the opposite side of the store a man who appeared to be be manager brings my food I asked him if my receipt was In the bag he said no and In order for me to get a receipt I would have to go back around through the drive thru and get it ,so I did just that at this time there are 2 cars sitting in drive through so I drive in front of them by the door and it's locked so I walked to the window and told her the guy said I have to come back through the drive thru to get a receipt and why didn't she just gimmi my receipt In The bag since she didn't give it to me after I paid, this woman caught an attitude and said I'll be with you in A min and that I had to get away from her window so she could process next order so I moved she kept saying move back more so I did .. this pos said to the person in the car another customer that I don't know how to comprehend.. so at this point I'm pissed and she could see it by the way she did not give a crap ... however I get home see 2 cold chicken breast in my box and 2 sides .. after I told her 1 breast twice .. I look at my receipt she charged me for 2 breast meal charged me for additional side and I see a drink that I never even got .. I called to let them them know my breast were cold and my order was rang up wrong and of course no one ever answers, I thought about going up there to get a refund but just knew it would turn out real ugly so I didn't .. needless to say I will be going up there tomorrow When I'm not so pissed off .. yall anytime you go anywhere get a receipt trust no one.. this is the second time I have had issues with this location with food quality and rude ass people. This kfc just needs to shut down food sucks and food customer service never happens read more

Incredibly rude employee. I forgot to order something at the drive thru speaker so I added it at the window. This employee is giving me attitude that I needed to order only at speaker. It was as though he wanted me to drive back around the building to the speaker. This was the last time I will ever go to a KFC. It's seems like Chick-fil-A is the only fast food drive thru that actually treats their customers with respect. If these companies can't find respectful employees they should just close up. read more

The chicken they used was supposed to be out of date, had a bad smell, and had diarrhea and nausea after eating. I don't know if it was just my bad luck getting expired or if someone else was in the same boat. read more

Waited 55 minutes for my small meal. I was never given a receipt, and they lost the meal ticket. The asshole working the register lied when I got the manager involved saying I was given a receipt, and had to show the charge to my card to get my food. Food was cold, they refused to replace it. I would strongly recommend dining at one of the other restaurants in the immediate area because the service here is unacceptable. read more

What a disappointment! Stopped by for a late dinner at 8:45pm to find them out of chicken strips which also meant no Chicken Littles. Ordered popcorn chicken instead (2 orders) and it turned out being 90% cold breaded pieces and 10% chicken. They couldn't be troubled to make fresh food. Plus I got to swish that dry chicken-free dinner with a cup of ice with a thimble full of soda. Wasted $12 for old crumbs. If KFC monitors this thread and cares about customers, contact me and refund my "meal". Otherwise, they have another franchise location I'll never visit again. read more

Been here twice so far and both times were pretty good albeit with a few negatives to note. The chicken was delicious, the sides were all well made, but the drinks here are just mediocre. They messed up on giving me two of the same sides the first time but they made it right so no negative stars for that. Also, the second time I came they locked the lobby and were only accepting drive thrus which was kind of a bummer as we were planning to eat there. The drive thru went quickly and there were no mistakes on the order and eating at home turned out to be the better choice anyways. We have ordered the 12 piece combo which comes with 3 sides and 6 biscuits and this has been a solid choice on both visits. Last but not least they accepted the mail coupon which saved us a couple of bucks on the combo which made us happy. 4 solid yelp stars for KFC of Buford. Thank you! read more

Stopped hear early to get a bucket to take to moms so she could have food a couple of days, and thought the chicken would be fresh at 11:15 before late service got out at church. Although a fryer was out and I could only get a couple of 2 piece lunches, I found the trick to good chicken and good biscuits . Go early!!! Any day- 30 min after opening. Chicken was juicy and fresh , sides were hot, biscuit was great. I'm only giving 3 stars since I could not get what I wanted and the manager would not work with me to make a plate I wanted. Give the customer what they want. read more

Worst service I've experienced getting food anywhere. Food wasn't prepared right at all and was also missing items.

The lady behind the counter is super friendly and has excellent manners. It was so refreshing to have someone treat you with kindness and respect . I would come back just for the service ! The restaurant was extremely clean, food was awesome! $5 fill up win one grilled chicken breast and green beans was very KETO friendly. Oh.. the lady's name is Pepper. She is my favorite because the way I saw her treat every customer ! Thanks Pepper! Christopher was also helpful and pleasant read more

The location at 928 Buford Drive in Lawrenceville GA (next to McDonald's) took almost 45 minutes to get my order together this evening. My order was an 8-Piece Meal that includes 2 sides. Nothing special, nothing out of normal. The time stamp on my receipt was 6:12 pm and I walked out with my food at 6:50 pm. The date is 10/28/23 and my order # is 106920, in case any is curious. This is a corporate store which means it is a duel with Taco Bell. I recommend you stay away! The food was tasty tho! read more

Why bother writing a review on how bad the service is when it is never answered or bothered to make it right? I complain constantly how they never give you the right pieces that you order and no one seems to care or fix the probem. Got an 8 piece again today and got 3 wings and 1 thigh and it cost $20+. They are ripping you off giving you LESS than you pay for! read more

Door dashed my order, no plates or utensils. I ordered 8 piece chicken bucket ( drums and thighs) original with 6 biscuits 1 mash potatoes with gravy, large corn, cole slaw as sides. 1 chicken pot pie fill up. What I was sent was 8 piece grilled chicken it was burnt, no gravy for my mashed potatoes, and no chicken pot pie, no honey for my biscuits. Rude manager and workers, had to wait OVER 10 minutes for food that should've been ready and they made me pay beforehand. Never coming to this location again. read more

This is the worst KFC i visited. The service was slow and I had to remind them what I was waiting for... the food I ordered. When we got our food, the was some unknown white substance on two pieces of chicken that had to be replaced. A couple of other thicker pieces where under cooked as you can see from the photo. This restaurant needs a visit from the health department. I hope I don't end up getting sick. Additionally the iced tea was like tan water. Disgusting experience. read more

Even though this KFC is farther for me than the one closer to my home, I purposely come here because the service, wait time, and quality of food is so much better. I almost always come in here to order the 12 piece family meal that comes with biscuits and sides. I typically also order extra gravy. I always order this to-go and they almost always have everything ready in under 5-10 minutes, no matter how busy it is. It's awesome. Sometimes you might have to wait a little while for them to cook more grilled chicken, but it's usually not too long of a wait. The quality of food is great. The fried chicken tastes fresh and hot. Even their grilled chicken is done well. The employees here are always very nice and accommodating. Just make sure to check your order especially if you get gravy. I've found a couple of times where the gravy wasn't closed properly and spilled out. Other than that, this is my favorite KFC to go to. I used to think KFC was gross and quality deteriorated over the years but these guys do a great job of keeping up the quality so the food stays tasty. I'll keep coming back! read more

I just went to KFC in Buford and had an awful experience. I ordered food and when driving up to pick the food up I immediately remembered that I wanted my chicken grilled. I kindly asked the man if I could get it grilled instead of fried and was told that I couldn't! I have never been to a fast food restaurant where I've asked for a change and they didn't do it for me. The guy at the window was unpleasant and rushed us as if it was our fault that he was working there. All that needed to be done was for my chicken to be changed out. I will never be going back to that kfc and will let my family and neighbors know about my awful experience. read more

"KFC IN BUFORD, GA" DOES NOT DESERVE NOR MERIT ANY POSITIVE RATING. Worst experience ever!! Bill the manager, was the rudest, most disrespectful, hateful person I've encountered! Ordered a chicken breast meal at speaker, man screamed from drive through window telling me to pull to window. Was told they were out of chicken-only thing available was chicken tender meal with fries, biscuit, drink-I had never ordered a tender meal. I was charged $8.67 in lieu of $4.99 (without a drink). Asked for receipt, was told I did not need a receipt--I insisted on getting my receipt. Bill (manager) refused to re-ring my 3 tender meal for correct price ($4.99) and refund the $3.67 over charge. Bill stated he was not doing anything to rectify the over charge & terrible "care less" customer service attitude. Bill suggested I call KFC Headquarters to issue my complaint--he stated once headquarters forwarded complaint to store, he (Bill) would ignore/disregard corporate's instructions to reach out & rectify this bad customer service experience. This KFC used to be really good. The customer service was on point and the people were super friendly. Look, I'm not looking for "super friendly"...all I want is NOT RUDE. We had a bad experience a month and a half ago and chalked it up to a bad day but we just had the same experience today with the same person. Amazingly, this is the manager of this KFC.
