I rarely stop into a KFC, but something had me craving their chicken today - and I was in a hurry. I also rarely post anything about fast food; a: because I shouldn't be eating it and b: I don't go all that often. However, on this occasion I was really impressed with the quality of the service and the food. I stopped in and was greeted with a smile and an enthusiastic salesperson. They took my order, offered an alternative with a slight up-sell and overall my fries were fresh and hot as was the chicken. I would definitely go back to this location. read more

Wow!!! What happened to KFC? I went to KFC Buford Dr. The store has an A on cleanliness. The food was horrible. I went about 11:30 in the morning. I ordered 2 piece breast and wing combo meal. The chicken was like warm almost cold, the fries was definitely stale. The customer service was great!! I haven't been there in a couple years and that's why. I just came to this KFC to pick up an order and they had told me someone else already picked up the order and that it's been gone for 45 minutes and I texted the person I was picking up the order for and he had told me that he did not receive his order and the KFC to the drop off was only 10 minutes away which means that the person who picked it up stole it and when I went back inside the KFC so the person I was delivering for can talk to the manager once I went in KFC i don't know if it was the manager or a employee but he thought I was calling the restaurant and I told him no and then I was going to tell him that the customer that order the food wanted to talk to him and he didn't even let me speak and he yelled at me saying I can't remake the order for you it's against our policy whoever the order was for needs to call uber so they can handle it cause we can't remake the food and it's not our fault they need to talk to whoever they order it from and everyone was just looking at me while he was yelling at me and it was embarrassing for me cause I didn't even do anything and later on I see that they gave a person the wrong order they have poor service in that KFC and they are disrespectful and don't know how to talk to customers properly so I wouldn't recommend people coming to this KFC. read more

This place has been going down hill a-lot The last year. Every time we show up for lunch there is an issue. Drive through not working because the system is down. This has probably happened 6 times or so. Customer service is azz, when the managers show up they are top notch though. Drink fountains didn't work today and had multiple people complaining. I ordered the new bbq sandwich and the un trained lady at the front desk ask me if that was the chicken little. No fault to her but you should probably train employees better. Incredibly rude employee. I forgot to order something at the drive thru speaker so I added it at the window. This employee is giving me attitude that I needed to order only at speaker. It was as though he wanted me to drive back around the building to the speaker. This was the last time I will ever go to a KFC. It's seems like Chick-fil-A is the only fast food drive thru that actually treats their customers with respect. Waited 55 minutes for my small meal. I was never given a receipt, and they lost the meal ticket. The asshole working the register lied when I got the manager involved saying I was given a receipt, and had to show the charge to my card to get my food. Food was cold, they refused to replace it. Been here twice so far and both times were pretty good albeit with a few negatives to note. The chicken was delicious, the sides were all well made, but the drinks here are just mediocre. They messed up on giving me two of the same sides the first time but they made it right so no negative stars for that. Also, the second time I came they locked the lobby and were only accepting drive thrus which was kind of a bummer as we were planning to eat there. The drive thru went quickly and there were no mistakes on the order and eating at home turned out to be the better choice anyways. We have ordered the 12 piece combo which comes with 3 sides and 6 biscuits and this has been a solid choice on both visits. What a disappointment! Stopped by for a late dinner at 8:45pm to find them out of chicken strips which also meant no Chicken Littles. Ordered popcorn chicken instead (2 orders) and it turned out being 90% cold breaded pieces and 10% chicken. They couldn't be troubled to make fresh food. Plus I got to swish that dry chicken-free dinner with a cup of ice with a thimble full of soda. Wasted $12 for old crumbs. The lady behind the counter is super friendly and has excellent manners. It was so refreshing to have someone treat you with kindness and respect . I would come back just for the service ! Stopped hear early to get a bucket to take to moms so she could have food a couple of days, and thought the chicken would be fresh at 11:15 before late service got out at church. Although a fryer was out and I could only get a couple of 2 piece lunches, I found the trick to good chicken and good biscuits . Go early!!! Any day- 30 min after opening. Chicken was juicy and fresh , sides were hot, biscuit was great. I'm only giving 3 stars since I could not get what I wanted and the manager would not work with me to make a plate I wanted. Nothing special, nothing out of normal. The time stamp on my receipt was 6:12 pm and I walked out with my food at 6:50 pm. The date is 10/28/23 and my order # is 106920, in case any is curious. This is the worst KFC i visited. The service was slow and I had to remind them what I was waiting for... the food I ordered. When we got our food, the was some unknown white substance on two pieces of chicken that had to be replaced. A couple of other thicker pieces where under cooked as you can see from the photo. Even though this KFC is farther for me than the one closer to my home, I purposely come here because the service, wait time, and quality of food is so much better. I almost always come in here to order the 12 piece family meal that comes with biscuits and sides. I typically also order extra gravy. I always order this to-go and they almost always have everything ready in under 5-10 minutes, no matter how busy it is. It's awesome. Sometimes you might have to wait a little while for them to cook more grilled chicken, but it's usually not too long of a wait. The quality of food is great. The fried chicken tastes fresh and hot. Even their grilled chicken is done well. The employees here are always very nice and accommodating. Just make sure to check your order especially if you get gravy. I've found a couple of times where the gravy wasn't closed properly and spilled out. Other than that, this is my favorite KFC to go to. I used to think KFC was gross and quality deteriorated over the years but these guys do a great job of keeping up the quality so the food stays tasty. I'll keep coming back! read more

I just went to KFC in Buford and had an awful experience. I ordered food and when driving up to pick the food up I immediately remembered that I wanted my chicken grilled. I kindly asked the man if I could get it grilled instead of fried and was told that I couldn't! I have never been to a fast food restaurant where I've asked for a change and they didn't do it for me. The guy at the window was unpleasant and rushed us as if it was our fault that he was working there. All that needed to be done was for my chicken to be changed out.
