Kentucky Fried Chicken in Australia? Hmmmmmmm .... Sure, why not?
We stopped here on our way back from a morning excursion exploring Brisbane, mostly because I knew it would fit the bill in feeding our 4 yr old twins and a 17 yr old boy's bottomless pit of a stomach.
They have the normal items that we've become accustomed to in the US: 2 piece chicken boxes, chicken bits snack boxes and mediocre mashed potatoes and gravy that NEVER seem to get any better no matter what country we visit. Guess there's something to be said for consistency.
Prices were about the same as at home given the conversion of currency, but thankfully there wasn't any tax, making it a much better deal.
The quality seemed about the same, and they did offer both "original" and "wicked" flavors.
The service was pleasant, but didn't scream "exceptional" by any stretch.
We went during the lunch hour, so the seating left A LOT to be desired. But in their defense, they are located in a food court so this isn't their fault at all.
All in all, it's an OK place to have lunch, but there are tons of better options available. read more
