When you 're spending $17 to $22 dollars on a big, fat pizza you want a good one, as on a good day you can pick up the cheapies for around 7 or 8 dollars (I prefer the big 'Aussie' solid numbers but the kids like the mass made varieties from the pizza chain stores). I say 'Aussie' because you don't get three centimetre high toppings in Italy, that's for sure. We waited 45 minutes for our order, which seemed like a long time on a Wednesday night, but that was OK; what was disappointing was that although the pizzas looked really excellent only one of the three we ordered measured up taste-wise. The seafood pizza was probably not one we'd regularly order, but we found it bland unfortunately, as we did the Mediterranean, which just lacked a certain something. We probably will try again as it is our local, but hope they get the combinations honed and bring back the old flavours for our taste buds' sakes.

I think their reputation is a little unfounded. After all, they do have salad on them, salad can't be that bad surely? Traditional Kebabs is in a nice spot on Bay Terrace, opposite the IGA complex. The staff are nice usually pretty quite at getting your wrap together. I always ask for both sour cream and barbeque sauce.... they are great together. The salads seem fresh - the earlier in the day the better and the meats are at a pretty good standard. Worth a try if you in the area on your way down to the bay.

They do a fantastic chicken tikka masala. Most times I will get take away for convenience however the restaurant is really beautiful. Red and gold walls, beautiful wooden seating, candle light and an overall feeling of warmth. I do not see many people eating in, possibly like me they prefer to eat at home but I have eaten in a few times and the service, atmosphere and food presentation are always wonderful.
