I mean it's a KFC.... The restaurant itself was very clean and what a cute updated location that shares with Taco Bell. Service was friendly - as I'm pretty sure she was 1 out of 2 working. However - for $24 for a fast food meal - it was terrible. For as long as we waited - I was expecting it to be hot - but silly me. The fries seemed to have that 3 day old sitting there taste and the chicken was cold and dried out. I'm sad to start seeing this as a more common occurrence for anywhere we eat out lately. Not even worth it anymore and disappointed. read more

Food was dried out- maybe a day old. Dead bugs on the floors. Floors slippery in spots. Ladies bathroom had mold, dirty toilets, rust in the sink. Service slow. overall needs to clean the entire restaurant. read more

I asked for Freash wings and got rubberfied warmer chicken. Had to be in there at least 30 minutes. Manager was a D head. I asked how long they had been there and he just said they are Freash. I said I'd wait and he refused. So pissed. He was rude and disrespectful. Would not tell me how long they were sitting there' at 25$ for the order if I wanted cold chicken I'd of went to the left over deli section @ my local grocery store. Dude is definitely a DEI hire. He needs to be let go. Not to mention the roaches. Don't get me started. Robert you sir are an sshole. read more

KFC - What's left of my shitty order. - Fast Food Near Me - Bonner Springs, Kansas

It's a KFC, expectations are low. Keep them low, this KFC is the bottom of the barrel. Chicken pieces are small. Ordered 8 piece extra crispy, not crispy at all chicken was slimey. No breast in the 8 piece. Will be my last visit. read more

I went here with my dad and they gave me a drumstick. The size of my palm on my hand and I was like what the heck is this drumstick there were cockroaches in the bathroom and whenever you close the door, the light almost falls into the ground and my chicken felt like been sitting under a heat lamp for days I know the expectations for KFC are not very high, but this place was super bad read more

My wife got me a two piece meal. It included two very scrawny pieces of chicken. A drumstick and a thigh my wife thought was a small wing. They where even smaller than they look in the picture. I will not go back. I do not reccomend. Stay away. read more

Bucket meal.... minus the Biscuits. Easily ordered meal online for pickup scheduled at 5pm. However, order was not ready on my arrival. The bag was sealed shut, so unable to verify my order was complete before leaving. Unfortunately after getting home I realized my order of Biscuits were missing, super sad. read more

Drive past this KFC. Driving 800 miles in a day. Stopped in Bonner springs. Bought 8 piece family dinner and some drinks for family. Asked that bottled water also be put in a bag. Confirmed in detail what we ordered when picked up at window. Drove off. Not only did we not get our bottled waters we also received no napkins or utensils. Has to then turn around travel back, go inside and get them. Unacceptable and theft in my view. read more

Obviously broken chicken leg in the bottom of the bucket. That's disgusting. You can't tell me the person who filled the bucket didn't see it. Couldn't pawn it off on a dine in customer so hey, a drive through customer won't see it until they get home. Haven't been to this KFC in a couple years, hasn't improved. Should not be allowed to EVER sell a broken leg. read more

Great chicken. If you have a big family get a bucket of chicken. Service is great. And just the food in general is amazing read more

I went to drive thur told the young man I wanted 3 original breasts. He was ringing it up and I said to him next. I'm sure glad your dining room is open again. He replied yeah it is open. Then told me to pull up past the yellow arrow and go by the curb. Which I did. He brought my food out and I said thanks alot. Have a nice day. He didn't say a thing and turned around and walked back into kfc. I started to check my order to make sure it was correct but I didnt snd wouldn't you know it. When I got home it was three thighs. I'm so upset its 102 degrees outside and they wint even answer the phone. So I guess I'll drive back to Bonner springs. Oh I didnt get a receipt either.. sigh Customer service should be taught to that young man! read more

Visited this KFC in Bonner Springs on 6/30/2024 at 1:56pm. Had 2 tenders combos-3piece chicken. The chicken tenders were no longer than 2 inches apiece and were grisly and not edible. The biscuits were about 2" in diameter and underbaked. The cashier was rude and impatient when my daughter was getting her money together. The tables were not being cleaned when people left the restaurant. One staff did come out and move chairs and tables back into place but cleaned no table tops. When we left, the tables were still not cleaned. The floor was dirty and needed to be cleaned. I don't know if this is a franchise restaurant or a KFC store but it is a disgrace. read more

12-2-22 went to the drive thru and ordered an 8 piece meal with mac&cheese, mashed potatoes and biscuits. total was $31.64. got home and was serving my family, tried a bite of the mashed potatoes and they were sour. So I removed them from the plates and served the chicken. The chicken was so dry and old it could have been chicken jerky!! This happened at 5:30pm on a Friday night . I tried calling till 8 pm and no one will answer the phone. So if you are planning to go here, I would highly recommend going some other place. This restaurant has really gone down hill over the years. I will never go back there again, I would prefer to drive to Shawnee and get chicken if I want KFC again read more

They will get your order wrong every time, and you won't realize it til you get to Leavenworth, every time.

consistently mess up orders. Never get what your order. Won't pick up the phone. Save your time and money.

Good food been eating there for years. I wish they would get over this COVID non sense and open the buffet again.

Ordered $100+ in food for our shop and didn't receive any sauce, straws, or napkins. 0/5

Horrible. Its supposed to be "Quick pickup" yet for mobile orders you can't just get those from the drive through, you must park and go into the store. How the hell is that quick. Also how does KFC have biscuits but do not offer jelly. read more

I wish I could not give any stars. Worst location ever in Bonner Springs Kansas. Every staff member I interacted with had the worst attitudes and terrible customer service and I didn't even go inside!!!! The lady on the intercom had the worst attitude ever after I asked if I could do 2 separate orders (nobody was in line) so it shouldn't have even been an issue, but to her, it apparently was. So then I get to the window to pay, and theres a guy there and he's asking me AGAIN what my order was and asked twice what kind of sauce I wanted. I told him TWICE...... AND STILL did not receive any sauce in my bag with the most oldest fries you could think of. So I didn't even think about going around again to place a second order. I was thoroughly disgusted by the ENTIRE experience and will never be spending a dime at this location again. Interactions like this, make companies lose money all because of employees who aren't properly trained customer service. Awful. read more

Placed an online order, was never made, had to wait another 15 mins, the lady was rude there, finally got it done and she dropped my order and the pickup window and walked away, place is a shame read more

Stopped by the KFC in Bonner Springs for an easy take home meal. Nothing over the top but got what was expected. My wife had a one piece meal with biscuit and Mac & cheese. She enjoyed it. I ordered a plain chicken sandwich and a side of fries and both were surprisingly good. The drive thru lane was very busy and it took about 15 minutes to get our order with 5 other cars waiting ahead of us. We'll likely return if we're looking for a quick meal to go. read more

If I can give this KFC location no stars I would. Do NOT do their online ordering. They never check their online orders u til you actually get there to ask for your order. They always mess up our orders regardless if it was in person or online. Horrible customer service too read more

I was there last night and bought 3 meals from both the Taco Bell and kfc menus, I got everything from Taco Bell but was missing half of my chicken meal and was given none of my sides, I tried calling right away as I didn't have time to go back through the line before going into work but they went and hour without answering the phone, I called when the opened today and again no answer, I went in and they refused to make up for it and was very rude about and said it wasn't their problem. It wasn't much to replace and they didn't need to be disrespectful when I was nothing but nice. read more

girl at the counter was clueless. No customer service skills. Placed my order waited at least 15 minutes with them never calling my number. I finally watched another customer walk in the door from outside with apparently my bag of food she gave it back to the girl, the counter says this wasn't my order and the girl proceeded to look inside the bag open up the packages look at the receipt and then call my number stating that my food was ready. She was going to give me the bag of food that the other Customer brought back in. I was blown away , I requested them to remake my food. They finally did after another five minutes, handed me a paper bag which ended up ripping on me. On the way out the door. Awful experience will not be back. Should've known from the previous reviews. read more

This place is a dump. Don't waste your time time ordering ahead online, they can't even keep up with the drive thru.

If I could give a lower star I would. I ordered an 8 piece chicken tenders...needless to say it was a HUGE HUGE MISTAKE they look awful and taste like they were cooked this morning. Lesson learned. Don't have high expectations of Bonner KFC as it has declined tremendously in the last few years. read more

Bad food, no service, no chicken on the buffet. This place never has a working ice cream machine. It always takes 30-45 minutes to get something replaced on the buffet. Co2 is cranked up on the pop it is hard to drink. I love the chicken but this is not the best place. The register worker did not have a good grasp of the english langage. Good help must be hard to find. While there one of the workers came out on the floor to collect the trash. Took the bags out and spilled some bbq chicken on the floor, looked at it then walked off. After letting the management know about it, it took 30 minutes to get it cleaned up. Not very good! Ice cream always broken. Cashier does not speak English, Trash over flowing. Manager screaming at employees in the back room. KFC needs to come for a visit! read more

Normally the people here are super friendly and the buffet is a great value. This visit was not like that at all. I ate two breasts from the buffet and one overdone biscuit. The rest of the sides looked like slop or dried up wax candles. I went for a second plate (the chicken was good) and was told they had no more breasts. I was not offered a wait time nor an explanation. Well thanks for next to nothing. Two pieces of chicken and a hockey puck for $10. I would have been better off going to a grocery store. At least I would have gotten my money's worth. Boo! read more

Although Ms. Gonzales was exceptional at her polite and sweet service when taking my drive through order I cannot rate this establishment very well because the main reading went there was the food. Having a hankering for some original chicken with a side of smooth potatoes and gravy with that oh so bad for you slaw that reminds you of going to grandpas... and the buttery biscuit with that fake honey. Well in the hurry I was in to devour such a meal I spewed away only to get home and see that while I had paid for the nice three piece big box combo I got only the chicken and the biscuit. Not sure who was filling orders for Ms. Gonzales but that was frustrating and resulted in not only a bad survey review but now a bad yelp review. I thank ma Gonzales for telling me that just has a big order placed and she would try and get me all original pieces but to forget the sides is unacceptable in my book. So home, I ate my so so chicken with my Pepsi sad day. read more

Just tried the chicken and waffles. The chicken tenders were very dry like they were left over from yesterday. On the bright side the waffles were good. I will have to try it again just at a different location. We also got a Nashville hot combo that was not the best either. The biscuit was just thrown in the box right in the sauce and the tenders were small and dry. read more

Restaurant is poorly operated. Buffet is not keep supplied, customer has to wait in line to get clean plate after they have paid, has to ask for chicken that should be on buffet already. Management is often goofing around and not paying attention to customers needs. read more

I have tried this Buffet many times before writing this review. So this review is not only based on today. But other trips as well. My biggest complaint is keeping the Buffet. If you pay fir a buffet you should not have to pick something else due to not having it. Then come back 10 minutes later. Still don't have it. And yes I am talking about chicken. How do you not keep the chicken full. It's KFC, the C in KFC stands for chicken. I will be staring with all my friends on FB. read more

While it is not GC for selection, the food is decent and the service good. Cynthia is great, as are many of the others. I cannot relate to those who say the buffet has no chicken. Are we too spoiled.
