I ordered Scarlet Knight, Fried Mushrooms and French Dip, which overall was good. The problem occurred when I reviewed my invoice and I notice a "Convenience Fee Convenience" of $1.30 unbeknownst me. I informed the waitress that I paying with a debit card versus a credit card so the charge should me removed. The waitress informed the manager in the back and he stated, "that's how we've done and we can't remove the fee. I educated the waitress/manager by law, it's illegal to (1) charge a patron the fee that are using a debit card, (2) the service fee was NOT disclosed or brief to me prior to service and (3) the restaurant doesn't have any signs or language indicating that all patrons will be charged a "convenience fee". The manager was very dismissive and "matter of factly" towards my grievance. This grievance is not solely for me but to protect and advocate for ALL patrons that opt to dine at the establishment. SOLUTION: 1. Create a sign regarding a, "Auto Convenience Fee Charge for ALL Credit Cards" 2. Place a label on ALL menus so patron understand the hidden charge prior to service being render. In turn, the patron have the option to proceed, leave the establish or visit the nearest ATM for cash. 3. Brief all employees to provide a disclaimer to all patrons so their options or rights are taken away. And no you cannot change the added time for pick up to what you wanted. 2. Ordered an Old world Pepperoni, and Sausage combination cheese pizza. 3. Ordered pepperoni cheesy puffs. 4. Ordered garlic butter chicken wings. When I got to the pick up counter, three other people in the store. I asked if order confirmation number XXX was ready? I was told by the young gentleman behind the counter "We don't use numbers we use names." I said "Your Website only lists a confirmation number for my pre-paid order." The young gentleman repeated "We just use names." I gave the young gentleman my first name. He checked in the back of the store and when he popped his head out of the front entrance from the kitchen said "No, I don't have that yet." Time: 5:21 PM. I said " I entered the order at 4:25 PM." He repeated, I don't have that yet." Sat down and waited, and at 5:27 PM my Little Caesar's Website account I was logged into showed my order was started at 5:27 PM. I got up again, and doubled checked asking the young gentleman to confirm that the three items listed is what he had on my order. Pizza was correct, cheesy puffs right, but the chicken wings were buffalo instead of the garlic I ordered. He told me he would get them corrected, and he did. Received my complete order at 5:45 PM. Drove home (22) minutes, got in opened up the cheesy puffs and received no pepperoni. Then opened up the Pizza and received a regular pepperoni pizza. It had no sausage at all. and no Old World pepperoni. I then had to take back the pizza and cheesy puffs another (22) minutes. When I waited in line for another (10) minutes as everyone was in the back of the store with no one at the counter. The same young gentleman I spoken with on my first visit told me "You have an extra pizza." I said "I only ordered one pizza, not two." He said "Oh, well this is the right pizza." I opened it, had sausage but looked like the same pepperoni as before. I said "This doesn't look like the old world pepperoni. The young gentleman's female partner at the counter said directly "yes it is!" I said "It does not look like the picture on your Website. She said "I know." I asked the young gentleman "Can I please have the pepperoni puffs I ordered." He said "what are those, pointing to the box of plain cheesy puffs." And I said "They are plain cheesy puffs" He said "Oh, pepperoni". He then grabbed a box of pepperoni cheesy puffs out of the heated case. I tried to return the wrong pizza and cheesy puffs I received however, the young gentleman told me they cannot take it back. I asked if they donate to the homeless? He said "No". No apology for supplying the wrong order. No eye contact at all when I returned. I drove the (22) miles back to our home. Premises clean, staff extremely transactional. We sometimes prefer a cocktail or a glass of wine with diner and will occasionally have a tap only Guinness with our meal. We expect good service because we do not wish to wait, as most of us don't, because we have our lives to live and for some reason, we have gotten quite used to delicious, hot food! lol. We enjoy smiling, and laughing as many of us do, so a friendly, polite, and efficient Server is a plus. For all of these reasons and especially because we don't always know what we feel like eating, we would like to recommend to you the British Open Pub in Bluffton, SC. Why? Because the grub, sorry, food, I hate it when it does that, lol; is very tasty. Their menu offers a variety of different fare. Their atmosphere is quaint, pleasant, and laid back. Side note: We sat next to a table of two young children who were watching videos on two different tablets with the volume blasting while their parents sat at an adjacent table with another couple. We decided to get two flights of beer. The flights had all 8 of their small batch releases. They were terrible. I would only order 1 out the 8 again. The two Belgian beers and the sour had a strong vinegar taste. The others were unremarkable. 1/5 I'd go back for the core beers and food, but would be very leery ordering any small batch beers Overall rating 2/5. It would have been a. 3/5 rating if I didn't order any small batch beers.
