After my gas and pee-pee break at Love's Travel Stop, I noticed KFC across the street and said to myself, why not! I love KFC original chicken. I drove over... was planning to go through drive-thru, but it wasn't in operation at the time... not sure why it was closed... I had to walk in instead which was not an issue... I'm flexible LOL. Staff was really nice. Restaurant was clean and has a lot more seating than what I would have expected at a KFC... maybe it's a supersized KFC LOL. I ended up getting a box meal with leg and thigh + mash potatoes + biscuit + soda. Instead of soda, I mixed their sweetened and unsweetened tea to balance out the sweetness... it tasted surprisingly good! I finished my 2 pieces of chicken (very moist and tasty!... would have preferred bigger pieces though LOL) and biscuit (I'm not a big fan of biscuits, but KFC biscuit is probably the best biscuit out of all other biscuits I've ever eaten... good job!) before heading back out on the freeway. I left the mash potatoes for later. Thank you KFC for a lovely meal as always! Stay true to your chicken recipe... it's a winner in my book! read more

I need for someone to explain to me why I got the wing that is in the picture? Like when the person who gave or fixed me order saw how small this wing was, did they think it was a good idea to serve it. It is comical to do such a thing. We used the app to place the order and the food was ready when my husband walked into the restaurant. Super courteous and helpful employees! Order was perfect as was the chicken and the pot pie. We are snowbirds so hadn't been here for several months and what a difference! We used to go and they rarely had chicken. We used to hear that "somebody" had forgot to place the chicken order. What in the world is wrong with KFC nowadays!? The service sucked, they were out of white meat. How does a chicken place run out of chicken? The mashed potato's were old and moldy but served to us anyway. We asked for a substitute French fries and they were soggy and cold. The chicken was traditional style and MEH! This has to be the filthiest KFC I have ever been to. All the tables were dirty. There were straw wrappers, napkins, empty bags, crushed potatoes and condiments on tables and the floor. Pretty much a mess that no one takes the time to clean up. The condiment trays were very low on supplies. The bathroom had no hand dryer working. And no chicken breasts for the meals. I traveled to this location as part of a school trip. At least a hundred hungry college students were all in line at this location at the same time. I thought it would take forever. However, the speed and efficiency that the workers were able to accomplish was astounding. We were able to get our food very fast!! Not only are you able to order the full KFC AND Taco Bell menus, but all the food tastes great and the service was phenomenal. The restaurant was also clean. Amazing place! read more

After seeing all the negative Yelp reviews I thought I would give KFC a shot anyway. The pros? It is a KFC/Taco Bell combined. So if you want either one it works out great. The young lady taking our order was very cordial and polite. The cons? Prepare to wait a really long time for your food. I was watching their timer and we were waiting for our food (2 combo meals) for a few seconds short of 11 minutes. That's a really long time for fast food. Their coke machine was out, they ran out of honey mustard....and oh yeah did I mention the wait? This could've easily been 1 star if it hadn't been for the kindness of the lady at the drive thru. Ordered online to be ready in 40 minutes. Husband went in and waited 5 mins before anyone acknowledged him. There were about 8 employees with no name tags on. No one was in line or in the drive through. Order had not even begun to be filled. Husband got a drink (they did give it to him complimentary due to wait) and went to the restroom. When he came out, they informed him they did not have grilled chicken as stated on the order. The email confirmation stated they would call if there were any problems, but they didn't. This the absolute worst KFC I am pretty sure. Can't be all the way sure cause I have seen them all but this is bad. the franchise should be shut down. We have wintered in Benson Az for 14 years and tried each year to eat and support the businesses around Benson. This year 2022 we tried again we ordered 4 pc Chicken Dinner and two pc chicken Dinner. The customer just ahead of us was told they were out of white meat. We ordered all dark 4 pc and 2 pc chicken dinners one with Fries and one with mashed potato. When my wife came to the car the first thing she said was that the floor was dirty in the serving area. Now to my order of 4m pc chicken with mashed potato. The regular chicken was greasy but tasted good the mashed potato tasted like you could use it for wall paper paste. We winter five months and will only eat there once. Went to the Benson, AZ store for a bucket of chicken. My husband likes original but I'm extra crispy all the way. He likes dark meat, I like white meat. We ASKED for the white meat extra crispy and the dark meat original. The twit at the counter did not know the difference between them. We ended up with a 12 piece bucket of soggy original recipe. My last review was 6/27/2015. Evidently the right person is not reading the reviews on this certain Kentucky Fried/Taco Bell. First of all I walked in to order and the girl at the counter said the Taco Bell side was backed up, it might be 10-15 min. So I left and came back later, drove through the drive through and they had a sign that said drive thru closed, but as soon as I drove up a guy said he would be right with me. I ordered the new chalupa , he came back and said they were out of them. I live right across the street and haven't been back since 6/2015. Thought I would stop to see if things have changed.
