I don't know why this was my first time visiting Pepe's, there is a location in Alhambra that's been there forever and really close to where my parents live, but I never went there for whatever reason. But I'm really happy with my first visit at Pepe's. Prices are fair for what you get ($10 for the breakfast burrito) and the lady at the register was really helpful in accommodating my request for a modified burrito. I loved reading the history of the company and the owners on the wall while we waited for our food. The burritos were HUGE, hearty and tasty! The lady gave me a bunch of salsas to try and they were all good. I was totally satisfied with my meal! I didn't know until after I paid and saw my receipt that there is a credit card processing fee. FYI, pay cash if you want to avoid the fee.

They even ask how you're doing when you're eating! Ordered: cheeseburger animal style, animal fries well done, protein style cheeseburger animal. Pink lemonade. Food came out hot and fresh as expected. Burger is excellent as usual for fast food, fries are mid as usual (lol). Restaurant was clean. Free chili peppers are always great. Overall, in-n-out is the value and quality king for fast food burgers. Price (even though has gone up over the years a fair bit), quality, service, all-around excellent. Cant beat them. Free parking out front.

Employees have always provided friendly, welcoming, and professional service. I always feel appreciated when I visit In-N-Out. My order has NEVER been wrong despite my usual customer request: Double Double cheeseburger, protein style (no bun, wrapped in lettuce) with grilled and raw onions, no spread, extra mustard, and no salt on my burger or fries. I also include a Flying Dutchman (burger minus the bun, lettuce, and tomato) with a whole grilled onion for my wife. I also add Lite (sugar-free pink lemonade) and Diet Pepsi. My order is ALWAYS SUPER DELICIOUS, fresh, and perfectly prepared. Eating here makes you feel as though you are part of something big, unique, and special, as out-of-state friends who do not have access to an In-N-Out location are so jealous, as we have locations in many surrounding cities. The parking lot is huge, and you can usually find a space if you're patient. As for my family and me, we will continue to visit In-N-Out, as to us, NO ONE does burgers and fries any better.

One negative, as a result of its own success and popularity, is the long wait in the drive-thru lanes. Employees do their best to move cars in and out as efficiently as possible, but regardless, be prepared to wait. The other HUGE negative is that the entry and exit to the property share the same, very tight driveway. This is especially bad when the drive-thru lane extends all the way out to the street, making it extremely challenging for cars trying to leave the parking lot. Aside from these two negatives, this is a great place to dine, as the restaurant is always clean and well-stocked.
