I have eaten at KFC every now and then for years and have always found the food to be decently good for fast food. Stopped in recently to try the new hot chicken. I had hot chicken in Nashville and loved it and have been looking for hot chicken in Texas ever since. I ordered the three piece tender meal which comes with coleslaw (I swapped for mashed potatoes and gravy), a biscut and a drink. You can also get a dipping sauce. Overall good amount of food for the price. The hot chicken.....I tend to think things are super spicy that my boyfriend doesnt....but I did think the chicken was hot. The heat comes from a sauce poured on the tenders. This differs from real hot chicken where the spices are part of the breading. But I still liked it well enough and would probably eat it again. Just got my kfc from buda. After being severely disappointed at the william cannon kfc. Ordered the number 12 (sandwhich) both times Got food within a minute of paying at buda's kfc, where as I had to ask for refund from william cannon after waiting in parking lot for over 10 minutes. (And a customer called me a "puta" under his breath as I passed him... One of the employees referred to me as the girl with the glasses who's kinda fat too. Super inappropriate. The drinks at the william cannon kfc taste horrible (for this entire year and we've had to toss them consistently.) where as buda's taste fresh and are drinkable. Service was as floppy as the chicken. They didn't know how to use the checkout and got confused with the menu. I'm disappointed in myself for eating there. The place smelt like feet...which was odd. I ordered a 12pc extra crispy meal(as shown by the pictures and they gave me 12 pcs. of original recipe. Now this may not seem like a big deal to some but I only ever eat my chicken crispy when ordering takeout. It came soggy but warm. The rest of the order was correct, so I know they looked at it. I can only assume that they didn't feel like cooking more extra crispy chicken. Needless to say, I didn't eat it. DoorDash did give me a credit(as shown), but I don't think that should be their responsibility. I tried to call KFC but they wouldn't answer. Went in for white chicken and was advised that they only have dark. It would take 20 mins. I paid and came back 30 mins later and was advised that it would be another 15 mins. Supposedly the guy with the dreads is some sort of manager. Didn't apologize for food not being rdy and said I have refund instead. You would think that people would have more respect for there job but I guess they believe that they can't be easily replaced. Worst drive-thru experience EVER. Got called racist name by the gentleman working at the window after I asked for napkins and a receipt when neither were given to me initially. Called and complained and had coupons given to me as an apology. Decided to try the restaurant again. I had to sit in the Drive-Thru for almost 15 minutes because they were short-staffed inside and I had a car behind me so I couldn't reverse out. I was stuck. When I paid, I was charged for two days things I did not order. Once that was corrected, I finally was handed my food and half of my order was missing. I was then told to pull out of the drive-thru and park and wait for them to bring me my correct order. After almost 10 additional minutes waiting, I finally walked inside to find out they had forgotten about me. The entire time, I was talk to and treated extremely rudely by the lady at the take-out window. When I ask to speak to a manager, she said "no" without any explanation. I asked why and she said that as far as I was concerned, she was the manager and that any complaints needed to go through her. I called back the next day and found out that she is not a manager or even shift leader, simply a part-time employee w/ a huge chip on her shoulder. I have tried giving them several chances, but each time I go is worse than the time before.. Y suggestion is to go someplace else. Hell, ANYWHERE else. That's KFC at East William Cannon Dr. Sat in my car and waited 30mins for hot wings because TWICE, they forgot to cook it. Yes they are that stupid. After watching a random episode of LOUIE, I saw him eating KFC original recipe... He made it look sooo good! The rationale I had to visit this fast food franchise after 15 years of absence, was just that... It's been so long so let me try it. Finding a KFC that didn't have horrendous reviews was first... And quite the challenge. But I found the William Canon location to be the closest and have decent ratings. Upon arrival I see that the location looks very new! The cashier didn't know much about the sides, so that was a scary sign. I played it safe, got a 3 piece w/ two sides, which was cole slaw and potato wedges. I even got AN extra piece in my order making it 4 pieces - I like good and yummy surprises! I must've struck someone's fancy haha!!! Food was actually amazing and reminded me of my childhood. Everything tastes fresh and wasn't overly spiced or salty. I would give this place 4 stars if it wasn't for the soda fountain tasting flat in 2 of it's 5 options. On top of that the fountain area and table areas were pretty messy... Pretty gross when you decide to eat in... They really need someone cleaning up before patrons dine in. Overall it was surprisingly good, and I loved my extra surprise of an extra piece of chicken... I doubt this happens often, but it's enough to make this visit memorable :) read more

We ate here on 01/04/2020 @ 730pm and ordered a 'big box' mash/gravy and biscuit. we opened the meal and instead of potatoes it was mac and cheese with rat hairs in it so we did not eat. they would not give us another side so that part was not a huge problem. The problem was my friend started throwing up at 10pm (2 hours after eating. He did not make it to the toilet and he could not hold it. It went all over our bathroom. He first threw up the chicken and said he could taste the grease in his throat. Then he stared to throw up blood. Not a little blood because of irritation but something you would see in a movie. It then went from throwing up to Diarrhea. He had no bowel control. The throwing up lasted about 4 hours but the Diarrhea lasted almost 6 days. We will never eat KFC again! read more

I was disapointed with my order yesterday from this KFC. I ordered a 12 piece half original chicken and half grilled. I was told that they were out and were making more grilled chicken. I waited for 25 minutes and when I reached home the only grilled chicken in the bucket were 3 tiny leg pieces and two tiny wings that looked like they were from a baby chicken. the pieces were dry and old. needless to say I was very unhappy and no one wanted to eat any of those nasty looking pieces. This kfc location does not have a working telephone number so there is no way to reach a manager or anyone to fix this problem. Listen y'all. I'm not one to leave a scathing review but gosh darn it y'all, this KFC let me down when I needed them the most. I was on my way home from a hair appointment. I was famished. I asked my boyfriend what he wanted to eat and he suggested KFC. I was very hesitant but against my better judgement I gave them a shot. He told me he wanted his chicken "extra crispy" and I asked if he was messing with me or if that was actually a thing and he told me it was legit. So I ordered the chicken and pulled up to the window. Someone was writing on a notepad when I pulled up???? Then they asked me what I ordered. I told them my order, they looked confused, then asked my to pull into a parking spot and wait for my order. 5 minutes later someone comes up to my parking spot and asks what I ordered. I tell them my order, they shake their head, then go back to the building without telling me what's going on. Another 5 mins goes by and a third KFC employee is asking me what I ordered. I tell her my order and she says "omg they keep messing it up" then she walks back inside ??. I'm chillin there for another 20 mins and my boyfriend calls like "dude you okay? you've been at KFC for like 30 mins" and I'm like actually nah I'm gonna go inside and investigate. So I open the door and some lady is like "nah inside is closed" and I'm like "cool cool but I've been waiting for my food in the parking lot for 30 mins and I think they forgot about me" so she's like "ok come in." So I walk in and this girl is sitting on the counter eating fries. We make eye contact and she's like "omg you've been waiting for a while" and I'm like "mmmhmmm." Another woman comes up and I tell her my order for the 4th time. Then the manager comes up and says "hey sorry I'm training 4 new people tonight" and I'm like "oh man no big deal, totally understand." But then the girl eating fries at the counter is like "no you're not." And I'm like . Anyway, I watch as the manager does nothing, the fry girl does nothing, and one dude scoops mac and cheese into a container for my order and bags it up. Then the fourth person who asked for my order tells the fry girl "apologize to her" as she points at me. So fry girl grabs the bag, hands it to me, and says "sorry". This was the WORST customer experience I have ever had. First, when I walked in, not one person offered to help me. The people working behind the counter straight up ignored me until I asked an employee emptying the trash if someone was available. She went behind the counter and got someone. While I waited, someone serving food, with no gloves on, took his hand and tossed food that had fallen to the side of the pan back in with his bare hands.
