I decided to get KFC since its close by to where I work. My 5 pc tenders were missing most of the skin which is not a big deal for me, just upsetting. With my mashed potatoes I ordered without gravy and it came with gravy. Probably should've went inside to order or done drive thru rather than mobile order. But I only get 30 minutes for my break so I wanted to save as much time as I could. My overall experience was good. Amazing food and excellent customer service. Me and my husband were craving chicken so took a ride to the KFC in Auburn MA. which is close to our home. So we always get a bucket of chicken and a few extra sides. Personally I like the wings and biscuits the best. When we ordered we were told they had no wings. but would replace with something else. well I was annoyed with that but said fine I can deal with no wings. But then they said no biscuits. LOL serious? we left and went to Worcester to crown chicken which is awesome and will review them separate. we have had same issue in past where they don't have chicken or a side we want. Sorry to say, this place is a complete disaster. And I'd like to think it's just this location, but we went to the Shrewsbury one once (not too long ago) and they were "out of chicken for about 45 min." This one has left items out of our order two times in a row - as in - full meals. I'm not talking about missing a dipping sauce, I'm talking - missing the chicken nugget meal and missing the sides and forgetting to give us our mashed potatoes and leaving out gravy. OMG. Just bad. I feel sorry for management, I really don't think they having quality folks working for them. I don't mean that for ALL of the employees, some seem to really be putting in a lot of effort. Wish I had came to the review section before stopping here. Paid $38 dollars for the 12 pc. chicken tender meal deal. Everything about this meal was sad. The sides were half full. The potatoes had no gravy. The mac and cheese was cold. The biscuits were crushed and no dipping sauces. The chicken coating looked so pale, I made sure it was cooked through before giving it to my kids. After waiting 10 minutes in the drive thru, I would think they were busy inside but it seemed everyone was just taking their time and no one seemed to care. How on earth is this place still open?? Staff is nice but people in charge need to update their hours/website/online ordering so that people know they actually close at 10 instead of 11. If you close at 10 but your hours say you're open until 11 and the online ordering system allows you to order past 10 it's going to lead to a lot of frustrated customers and a lot of frustrated yet apologetic employees who have to deal with the angry customers. So my family decides to have a little fun for dinner tonight and get a drive thru order from KFC/Taco Bell. We figured out our order on their website and headed to the drive thru. We didn't preorder as we wanted KFC and Taco Bell food. We got there and were told that they weren't honoring the options for the $30 fillup. It may seem minor that we HAD to get 12 tenders and not the 8 pieces of chicken we wanted but that's not the point. If you've got a National campaign, it should be honored. "It makes the 16 piece meal not a value." per the manager on duty. Don't care. Oh, and they messed up the order. There have been other issues at this location...like no heat this last winter. This place must have a really new or really uneducated ordering manager. Or perhaps no management at all. This is the only KFC I have ever been to that runs out of chicken. Seriously? they RAN out of chicken. I have given this location several tries. Each time I go, they are out of something...last time it was mac and cheese; on a Tuesday night at 5 pm. So when I ordered something from the taco bell menu, I swear they must have put it in the box then shook it up. I mean, at least make an attempt to make the food look like the product photo. my burrito was falling apart and all over the bag. I blame myself for not looking at it before I left, but I was in the drive thru, trying to move along since my small order had already taken almost 15 minutes. Who ever was responsible for running the shift today at 3pm on August 24th needs some training also needs to train their employees better. I waited well over a min at the drive up, kept saying hello hello hello, no one answered so I drives up, asked why my order wasn't be placed and if I could order if at the window. Pull up with only 1 person infront of me and hardly anyone in the lit figured it would be a quick in and out. Waited a while for someone to ask what I wanted and person was fairly rude. Never coming here again. The place is a dump. The door sticks open. Was wide open when I was here a couple months ago. Freezing out and your sitting here with the wind blowing in while trying to eat what is pretty much slop. The place is dirty and the staff that take the orders appear brain dead. Ordered through the drive through and the worker on drive thru was so rude to her costumers.. boyfriend was being so polite and still thanking her and we got no response back.. instead she slammed the windows shut! This is the third trip to this KFC , I have not had any problems until tonight. My husband and son went to a car show in Auburn and decided to grab the 20.00 special and he had to wait 1/2 for the food , when he got home in Southbridge he realized they never gave him the coleslaw or mashed potatoes and gravy.. living 20 minutes away was not worth going back there.. yes he should have checked the bags before leaving... Wow, that was just the worst "fast-food" experience in memory! Started off with the register not printing my receipt, and had to ask two different people to get my receipt printed. Turned out I had been overcharged for one item and they explained "the register is different than the board" as if that was OK. But it got worse from there. I waited for 20 minutes for two chicken sandwiches, and it wasn't that they were super busy or understaffed. There were eight people behind the counter, but none of them were working or knew what they were doing. The person in front of me Saw a worker putting food in his mouth as he was handling the customers food. So he complained and asked to speak with a manager, but the manager was in the back room and wouldn't come out to address anyone or deal with the complete breakdown in the kitchen. This was the absolute worst KFC that I ever stopped at! Had to wait nearly 10 minutes to have my order taken because the staff was too busy texting on his phone! The order took 10 minutes to receive and the chicken was overcooked! The soft drink machine was out of syrup in multiple selections. When I told that to the staff, I was told they would take care of it when the person finished his break. I had coleslaw and mashed potatoes as my side orders. I had not so great experiences here. I came to this KFC location a couple of times. The first time I waited 10 minutes in the drive thru line and not a single car ahead of me moved (Note: It was 11:00 p.m. on a Thursday Night). My order hadn't even been taken yet. I got fed up and drove off. Slow staff is a understatement. The last straw was tonight (Tuesday December 27th). I was craving an order of popcorn chicken. Once again it was around 11 p.m. (this time there was no line), however I was told by the girl through the speaker that "KFC was closed, only the Taco Bell side was open". Really???? Are you kidding me???? To add some comic relief, the KFC side of the menu board was "lit up", while the Taco Bell side was "darkened".
