I was here on the off-season. And it is absolutely beautiful. I took a gondola ride up to the top of the mountain where there is a lot of different free activities for adults and children. The views were just fantastic! it's also a spot where people have weddings, I can understand why, with gorgeous views of Lake Dillon, clear blue skies, trees and mountains make for an absolutely memorable wedding setting and stunning photographs. There are several different places to eat. And if you purchase a lift ticket you get a $15 meal voucher. I did get lunch there along with a bacon bloody Mary. I do have to say it was probably one of the best bloody Mary's I've ever had. The only reason that this does not get a five star is because they were completely understaffed. They were only two people working and it took about 45 minutes waiting in the line and to get your food. However the two people that were working or working their butts off and I tip my hat to them, because they were both working very very hard. I ordered the Mac and cheese and the ranch bacon corn and lemonade. The food was good but not worth the 45 minute wait. The Bloody Mary came up quick and that was the best part about the lunch. I am not sure if they were shortstaffed because it was the Labor Day weekend holiday and people took off or if they were more people there than they expected but that was the biggest drawback. Other than that I love this place and would definitely return! read more

Horrible horrible horrible !!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PROPERTY! Do not waste your money! We booked this for a New Year's Eve stay with my family. We booked 2 rooms. To start when we arrived and received both our keys, one of the rooms were not serviced. I called and the manager apologized and we had to wait in our other room until it was ready (4 hrs later) Once we get to the room, our TV is not working. We had someone come and he fixed it leaving wires everywhere and said someone would come and finalize the fixing. THIS NEVER HAPPENED. Then, after 2-3 days of using the Keystone Lodge and Spa shuttle, we get told that we aren't allowed to use their shuttle because we were staying at the "Lakeside, Condo area" and that we would have to take the bus routes. Then we noticed our room wasn't being serviced - we didn't know we had to pay $70 for what they consider "mid-stay cleaning" I said I didn't have a problem paying but both rooms needed service and towels. 24 hrs goes by and when we come back from our day out that next day - our rooms were never serviced. I called front desk and it seems like every single person there working was stoned on weed because they were slow and didn't have a clue what they were doing. I complained to a manger who apologize but was also VERY rude and pessimistic. The next day comes and they service only ONE room and not the other! My second room had NO clean towels delivered their entire stay even after my calls and complains! No one helped us!! They then charge us almost $700 for their New Years Eve party that didn't offer any food, hardly had tables to sit, and their "champagne" toast was NOT CHAMPAGNE! It was sparking wine. For the price we paid, we should've had at least had real Champagne. Then to finalize the worst experience at this junk place, the day of departure.. I called front desk to help with our 13 bags. A gentleman comes and picks up our bags and takes it to what we were told "Front Desk at the Keystone Lodge and Spa". We had to wait a few hours for our driver and when he arrives and I ask for our bags, front desk does not have them. No one has a clue where ALL OF OUR BAGS ARE STORED?!? A nightmare!!! Then when we see our charges, we get billed over $600 additional charges for "resort fees" although we didn't get access to shuttle, there is no cleaning service like a resort because we had to pay extra for it, NO CLEAN TOWELS in the rooms.. and when we called the manager said we are paying for the "amenities" What amenities?!? This place was a complete jokes our stay raked up almost $8,000.00! Absolutely unfair. The experience was NOT worth it! DO NOT STAY AT LAKESIDE!!!! The staff are dumb, the price is high and their food sucked! read more

I do not know how to express my extreme displeasure with Keystone lodging. As a family, we have stayed here many times over the years. This year, I booked a 2BR and a loft with a third party. We paid extra for the loft space, so there would be ample room for my family. When we checked in, we were told they had a 1BR and a loft. When explained that is not what we ordered, the front desk woman said she had a 4BR for us. We took the keys and visited the property. It was the 1BR and loft, which again is not what we believed we reserved or what the front desk said she was giving us. We returned to check in and were told they had nothing further for us. After much time, front desk manager Emma said she had a 2BR premium unit for us. Although not what we believed we ordered, we accepted it, as we were tired and there appeared to be no options. We drove to the property and were given the wrong garage code. A stranger finally let us in. Then we went to the room and the key did not work. We waited in the lobby for someone to bring new keys. At this point, it was 10:00 pm. Once in the room, we discovered this 2BR was actually much, much smaller than the 1 BR we originally had. It was late and the night maintenance manager who brought the keys said to call and talk to the day manager because they would surely want to make this right. The next morning, we called and were disconnected four times. Finally, we were able to talk to a manager who said they had nothing else available. During the course of our stay, the following things occurred: 1) our showers did not drain; 2) the heat did not regulate (we were told this was because we were "nearer to the sun" so we would have to deal with an 85 degree condo); 3) we slept with the doors and windows open in order to withstand the heat of the room; yes, there was snow in the condo; 4) our keys did not work for any of the amenities or front doors; 5) two days in, our keys again stopped working and we had to order new ones again; 6) the fire alarms were disconnected and sitting on the counter, which is likely a code violation; 7) the door handle to the porch came off in our hand; 8) a realtor showed the condo to a potential buyer while we were staying in the property. We did inform the potential purchaser of the issues we had with Keystone and suggested she not use them as a property manager. Although we love skiing at Keystone, I urge anyone reading this to stay in a property not managed by Keystone. Stay in Dillon and save yourself the hassle. read more

We had a lot of fun being there in the summer season, however there are some things to consider when planning your trip. Since the nearest store is a good half hour drive through mountainous roads, bring everything with you. I always over pack, yes don't travel with me, I will load you down. We brought winter and summer clothing because the weather suddenly changes and it's freezing. We brought enough food to fill a normal size refrigerator and several kitchen cabinets. Bring whatever your family needs to be comfortable, even over the counter medications or devices because if your toilet overflows or you run out of milk, there is nobody to save you. The office is located at 21996 hwy 6, and it's called "Vail Resorts," but they cannot explain to you well enough how to find your condo, so be prepared. There are no markers, or names on the buildings, and nobody to help you unload either; however, ask for a photo of the building or a general understanding of the landscape for makers to find it. Make sure to provide everyone in your family with an entry key to the building because it's a long drive back to the office. The parking lot faces route 6 and pay attention to the condo numbers outside. Once you have found your location, they have luggage carts at the entrance to help your family unload but be aware that the buildings are older and the elevators are slow. They also have stairs outside each elevator to your room so that slows down the unloading process. There is no air conditioning but open the windows since the lake is very breezy and find the box fans in the closet. The kitchen is small but fully functional. The one drawback was the large over sized king bed in the one bedroom, and every time someone passed by it, they developed a bruise on their thigh because the large posts stick out to attack you. I am still healing from two large bruises from trying to open a window because the room gets very stuffy. There is a beautiful small balcony overlooking the lake. Be careful with young children hanging over the edge, it's not child friendly. However, the lake is very beautiful, and The Snake River, which wraps around the entire town, has a great trail and walking around it is breathtaking with multiple bridges to cross over. The walk into River Run was fun but we wound up out of breath and stupid from the high altitude. We actually made the mistake of ordering Star Bucks Coffee to refresh ourselves and became more stupid from the caffeine. A group of foot policemen and women walk the grounds looking for people like us suffering from stupidity from too much caffeine and a lack of oxygen. Like a good Samaritan, the policeman called the shuttle driver to return us home because we looked frazzled and dreamy. As the driver delivered us to our hotel, I insisted this was not the place but I also couldn't remember the name of our hotel, just that it was near a lake. I told him I would call him if he drove off and we were lost, which earned a stare from the driver.. But the beauty of the mountains is so gorgeous that on our first day out, and undertaking the hike to River Run, I felt like Yodeling, although my attempt was feeble at best. Maybe there is a weekend course to learn this skill. The signs to avoid angry moose and bears was a bit scary, since they seemed to be chased off after we arrived at every new destination. With my younger son finishing a recent fascinating research on Big Foot, he was not happy to trepse through the woods, but I felt safe with the loud nagging and whining to avoid any collision course with the hairy beast. Yes if you are a chicken and the prospect of falling down a mountain during the ski season is a reality, please do go in the summer. The view of the ski lifts was like watching Cape Canaveral at lift off. No that will never happen I kid you not. It's not even a near potential reality at any time in this lifetime. The world will be a safer place if I avoid this experience as I cannot stop myself from flying down a mountain in a contraption that appears binding and uncomfortable with no brakes on hand. I call it "Avalanache safety." Ok, photos to follow. read more

This resort would rather have an ill person stay at the property than make any allowances for the current COVID 19 restrictions. Having to cancel travel plans and this is the only location that will not make any allowances for the current crisis. This puts all guests at risk. DO NOT STAY HERE. read more

My boyfriend and I stayed here for three days for our Valentine's day weekend. It's simple, cozy, and in a good location. We had a one bedroom condo. Pros: It had a balcony that overlooked the lake, a fireplace, and two HD TVs, one in the living room and one in the bedroom with On Demand. We enjoyed our stay. Cons: We stayed on the 2nd floor with someone staying above us and it was VERY loud. They must have been walking around with their ski boots on or something because there were constant BOOMING sounds, often very early in their morning and this went on every single day. Parking was also an issue, we often had to park far away from out entry door due to the lack of space. Last, we had to cut our trip short by one day and we informed the front desk of that upon our arrival and they told us to call member services and they couldn't issue a refund or a credit to us, nothing and they told us we had to check out by 11am anyway the day we were planning on leaving even though we were paying for an additional night. read more

Tried to cancel 15 days before the event because of a huge family emergency - yep nope your deposit is yours - wow

Stayed at 1517 Argentine a 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath. Was in keystone for a conference. Lakeside village was in walking proximity to the conference center. The condo has not been updated since the 90s. Both bathrooms had mildew, poor working fans, and tuns that poorly drained. There were missing door hooks and broken boards on the deck. One of the comforters was dirty with crust on it. No cleaning service was offered for the 4 days that we were there. I would compare this condo to a 1 star efficiency motel. Only positive was the location and the view. read more

A perfectly fine condo, albeit one without any bells & whistles, located in the Lakeside Village part of Keystone. Walls were on the thin side, as I heard when my neighbors returned home every night, and my particular condo was a bit shabby. However the price was cheaper than the Keystone Lodge, and for families and people looking to save money, a condo - even one with some odd carpet stains and scratchy blankets - is a preferred option. read more

Zero stars if possible! I had a reservation to a hotel room but got "upgraded" to the condo.... without consent... It was a 1bd in Edgewater. It was dirty, very dirty, altough the cleaning lady had been there a few moments before. The bathroom was full of hair.... The condo was old, full of ugly outdated furniture, and full of staff from owners...pictures, books, etc, completely untidy. Bathroom disgusting (very old). Kitchen the same... No ammenities on site, need to cross to the hotel. I went to the hotel and told them I did not want the "upgrade". I just wanted a clean, new room in the hotel... Terrible and unrespectful custumer service. read more

We have been coming here for many, many years and love it here. This is our favorite place in Keystone to stay. All the condos are wonderful. You can't go wrong here. The Adventure Center is great. Very family friendly place. This is right on the shuttle route too. What I like the most is it's still Keystone but doesn't feel like Vail Resorts ( which is notorious for ruining resorts, we natives understand this and do not care for what Vail Resorts do when it buys out places). The lake here is beautiful and a very chill place. Love it here, read more

We found pictures of Lakeside Village on the internet. We were confused because the unit was described as a one bedroom unit but there were pictures of multiple bedrooms. When I called I was told that they didn't have pictures of all the units but they were all basically the same. WRONG. What a bait-and-switch. I called to complain and they effectively said too bad. We were so disappointed in the accommodations we left the next day. Unless you have first-hand knowledge of the exact unit you're renting, beware! They basically put pictures of the nicest units on the internet to get you to rent. Then they lean on the cancellation policy to keep from having to refund any money. I won't go back. read more

This review is for the Lakeside Village Argentine condos, specifically #1520. It appears that neither the owner nor property management cares about keeping up the property. The other roads in the resort were decently plowed but as soon as we pulled into the Argentine private property lot, it was clear that no one had bothered to plow it--it was a thick icy/snow mess even though it hasn't snowed here recently. Here's a small list of what needs repair in the unit itself: dining room chair (broken leg, I almost broke my leg as it fell over--the leg was obviously broken before and had been propped up as if it were still intact), cracked bathroom sink, leaking kitchen faucet. The carpets are stained throughout and the place is really run down--almost every room could benefit from more light and at least a little upkeep if not more. The things that work are the hot water heater, the heat for the unit, the microwave, and the stove. Very nice stockpile of dishes and silverware. I won't stay here again, for sure. read more
