He rebuilt it and we no longer have problems with that lock. Mark also rekeyed all our locks and punched (not ground on a wheel) new keys. The new keys work so smooth! Took me a hour to drive there so now stuck waiting. I tried calling at noon no answer ill call you back in a minute. Half hour goes by so now im forced to call other locksmiths to get price and availability. I could have had them come out to do the work for way less then them and live and learn. So he gets there tells me price is 550 to remove a lock from an storage unit. I told him no way said I pay a cancelation fee or what ever but not paying that price. Then told me a price which is still higher then the other place now im feeling pressured and didnt like the aggressive way he turned on me. So the price is 550 per her per lock. It took 15 minutes. God when did prices get so outrageous. Highway robbery. And btw the dude reeked of pot

After a phone call and quote from the dealer, I realized I needed to find an alternative. Lucky for me the mobile locksmith of Berrera was driving past and I was able to get the contact info. He was very reasonably priced, and was able to do the job the very next day. It took him only about 20mins and he had programmed my next fob, and cut us an extra replacement blade all at far less cost than the dealership wanted. You need a locksmith? Aro Lock is the only place I call in Milwaukee. After having done business…read morewith these guys for over 15 years, I trust my properties and tenants to no one else. After all, no matter how big or small the job is, they are willing to take care of me right away. And doing things remotely from Chicago is often not easy, especially in this day and age where no one trusts anyone anymore. But trust these guys, I do, as I have sent them out to re-key properties, assist tenants with key issues, change or repair locks, or to help make my entry easier as a landlord, and they do it all, quickly, and for a fair price. Recently, a tenant called to tell me that the deadbolt needed to be replaced. Sounds easy right? Not when you have the house common keyed to the common doors but individually keyed to the apartments. It wasn't like I was going to go to Home Depot and buy and install a new lock given that complexity. After describing the problem on the phone to Aro- they told me that it sounded like a simple repair versus replacement and quoted me the price over the phone. When the job was done, they called to give me an update. Who does that anymore? And you know they were right. It was just a simple repair job and they took care of it the same day. I know that Aro Lock does more than locks these days; things like security cameras, intercoms, steel doors, high security auto keys and more, but my needs are more simple and they deliver on them time and time again. Too bad Aro Lock doesn't do business in Chicagoland. Because if they did, I know where I would go for all my key and lock needs.
