One quoted us more and couldn't come out for a few weeks which left us with Robert from Gold Seal. He returned my call within hours of my original message and was very communicative over the phone. We wanted to remove wallpaper from several rooms and he quoted me (over the phone) the highest price if it turned out to be a difficult job. I don't know about everyone else, but give me worst-case-scenario when it comes to money. Once he arrived the job turned out to be much simpler. He suggested painting the ceiling (after all, we were saving money on the wallpaper removal), which ended up making a wonderful difference. He also works well under pressure. We had 5 days to get the entire job done before move-in and he met the deadline, even though it involved him staying late some nights and arriving really early the morning of the move. We had an issue with the ceiling paint overflowing onto our white walls we didn't intend on painting - but he matched and touched up the wall paint (at no extra cost) and you can hardly tell. Overall he was professional, friendly, COMMUNICATIVE (a problem area we ran into with other painters) and did a great job. We will definitely be calling him when we're ready to paint again!

Honestly, I was shocked by how attentive he was in his communication -- a breath of fresh air. He promised the job would be done in 4 days (when the rest said 5-6) and IT WAS. He started the job the day after I awarded it to him whereas the rest of the companies couldn't start for 4-5 days. He kept us abreast of any and all concerns which were few, and kept me updated constantly. He and his team even kept going when they city accidentally turned off our water. The job was completed on time and it looked truly amazing. I've already recommended him to others on message boards. I'm going to have them paint our exterior in the next few years. I can't imagine even considering anyone else.

I've totally ignored my backyard fence. I'm from Las Vegas where everyone has cider block cement walls that you never have to take care of, so a wood fence is new to me. Turns out you are supposed to stain them every so often to keep them in shape. The more you know! -My fence was looking rough. The stain was fading and was looking quite ugly. The sprinklers had also left water fading along the sides in weird patterns from their spray. I found out about Hasfurter's Painting through the grapevine and asked if they took care of fences too. Great news, they do! -Jason came out to check out the fence and recommended we do a solid body stain with a sealer to protect the fence. He gave us a quote and was helpful with our questions. He was not pushy at all and very matter of fact, which I really appreciate. We booked him for his next opening in his schedule. -Jason and his team showed up early and got to work right away on the scheduled day. This was an outdoor job in my backyard. They did a great job and there was no paint splashes or anything on the grass, backyard stuff, or by the house. -My fence looks brand new and fantastic. In fact, I think it looks even better than when we moved in. I'm super happy with how it turned out. Fantastic job all the way around. Our concern was someone would simply spray it and call it good and charge us a lot of money. We simply couldn't be any happier with the work that Fernando did. I'll go through the steps he took and include my thoughts. 1. During his estimate he made sure to learn how the original paint had been applied so he would know what to fix before he started prepping and painting. 2. He made sure the paint was an exact match to what was already on the island. He went to the same company and got the same paint color. It is a perfect match. 3. He was on time and for the day and a half he took to finish the work he focused on the job. 4. He set up a paint station in the garage where he sanded, primed and painted the doors. Inside, he created a tent over the island so no paint would escape and end up on other parts of the kitchen. None did. 5. On the second day, he checked to see how the paint had dried and ended up doing more sanding and painting to ensure a smooth, covered coating on all surfaces. This job could have been done in a day, maybe less, but Fernando wanted to do it right so he planned enough time so he could do it right. 6. We were satisfied with the quote we got from Fernando. More important was that even though he had to take a few more steps and do some rework to get it just right there was never any mention of charging more. 7. Okay, here's the most important part of my review. I researched different painters and selected Just Pros Painting while my wife was out of town. She was still gone when Fernando completed the work. I know, I was working without a net and if the job wasn't done right it might have gotten ugly. Just kidding... kind of. Upon returning, my wife gave the entire job a thumbs up. Phew! Just Pros Painting has my highest recommendation. Note: Fernando is a super nice guy. I thoroughly enjoyed hanging around while he worked.
